A public and passionate celebration of Jesus on Pentecost weekend in London in 2026. Joining with the global movement of March for Jesus on Saturday 23rd May.What is it?The Jesus March is a joyous, hopeful celebration of Jesus in London. The global movement of March for Jesus, which began in London in 1987, has continued around parts of the world and recently begun again across Europe. We are inviting you to join us as we relaunch March for Jesus in London this Pentecost weekend – this time called the Jesus March – on Saturday 23rd May.As the annual celebration of the birth of the church, of the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit and of thousands saved, Pentecost is the perfect date for the church to publicly celebrate Jesus, heal the spiritual atmosphere in our city, and raise hope and peace in our communities. There is a series of other significant Christian missions happening in the run up to the Pentecost weekend and throughout it: the Jesus March is a perfect climax to draw everything together.WHAT IS IT NOT?This is not a protest – we are not using this march to speak against any injustices or wrongs regarding the government of the UK, we are celebrating Jesus and lifting him up!This is not a political march – this is not left or right, and no political or national flags are allowed. This is not a promotion – there will be no money-making or products being pushed. No-one is promoting their own ministry or agenda. Why now?Because God is on the move! We have seen a recent wave of salvation, growing church attendance and a fresh boldness to reach the UK with the good news of Jesus, particularly London. This paves the way for a significant, united moment to proclaim and praise Jesus on the streets of this city! We are living in challenging times but Jesus calls his church to shine like stars to the world. Join us to shine out the light of Jesus!WHERE and when IS IT?The Jesus March will take place in central London. The route (pending police confirmation) is from Marble Arch and along Piccadilly, following a joyful mobile worship team on a float. We will end with an extended time of worship and prayer in Trafalgar Square. The march starts at 2pm on Saturday 23 May, finishing at 5pm.CAN I GET INVOLVED?Of course you can! The Jesus March is for everyone. We would love to see the beauty of the breadth, depth and racial diversity of the UK church expressed in the Jesus March. It would really help our planning if we know who is intending to be a part of the Jesus March 2026.Save the date: Make sure you've put Saturday 23 May in your and your church's diary.Register your interest: Let us know you're coming. To help with stewarding and first aid requirements, we are asking churches who are bringing 25 or more people to commit to bringing a group marshal (steward) and one qualified first-aider who would attend pre-event briefings.
I have been reporting throughout my podcast on various Christian movements; that we were exposed to, or worked with. One good example for us, was the first Jesus March, founded in London, May of 1987. The church leaders were Gerald Coates, Roger Forster and Lynn Green, along with the musician Graham Kendrick. Shortly after that, on the 18 of July 1987, Thomas worked with the Munich pastors, to lead the first march in our city. The next step was in July of ‘88. Thomas wrote in his newsletter. “This July a large evangelisation project is being planned. It will be similar to last year except this time for two weeks. Twenty churches will be participating, forming teams for pubic ministry and streetwitnessing. There will be again a march through the city with special creative programs.”I actually found a brochure, with the list of the churches and organizations, in Munich! It is an interesting mixture of different kinds of groups.
HANDLING FAMILY CONFLICT Gordon Dabbs, PhD Ephesians 4.2-3 Paul calls us to conviction about peace and harmony. Ephesians 4.2-3 (NIV) Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. • BE COMPLETELY humble and gentle • BEAR WITH one another in love • MAKE EVERY EFFORT Bad news: every family has conflict. Good news: every family has conflict. Matthew 5.9 (ESV) Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are the peacemakers. If there is any place on earth where Christians are committed to peacemaking, it ought to be in our homes. 4 practical convictions to be peacemakers in our families: 1. Overlook what can honestly be overlooked. Proverbs 19.11 (ESV) Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense. Some things really are small enough to cover with grace. 2. When something must be addressed, lead with mercy. Colossians 3.13 (NLT) Make allowance for each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Homes get healthier when grace flows. 3. Own your part first. Jesus said to get the log out of your own eye first before trying to remove the speck from someone else's. A real apology owns my part without immediately redirecting attention to the other person's failures. 4. Seek reconciliation – don't settle for relief or “victory”. Romans 12.18 (ESV) If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 2 Corinthians 5.18 (NIV) God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation He can make hot-tempered people gentler. He can make families healthier. Aim for a home where… • little things are covered in grace. • things are addressed with mercy. • people own up to their part. • reconciliation matters more than winning. • Jesus is at the center. The strongest families are the ones that keep bringing their struggles to Jesus… allowing Him teach them how to make peace.Subscribe to PRESTONCREST - with Gordon Dabbs on Soundwise

Do you remember a popular fad from the 90's called Magic Eye. (The technical term is autostereogram.) These are two-dimensional (2D) images that create the optical illusion of a three-dimensional (3D) scene. In the 90's they were the world's most famous—and infamously frustrating—optical illusion! Posters bearing the brightly colored pop-art hung everywhere. At first glance they appear to be a chaotic, colored pattern, but when a viewer relaxes their eyes and gazes through the image, the hidden 3D shape suddenly pops into view, at least for some people! The fact that it was so difficult to see the 3D shape hiding behind the hyper-colored patterns was a major part of their appeal. Finally being able to "see it”, would bring people great joy. First time viewers, would usually have others crowd around them, offering unhelpful, often contradictory tips like, “cross your eyes”, “squint”, “try relaxing”! But many people were just Magic Eye blind and could never see the 3D shapes! As frustrating as that might have been to some, try imagining what it would be like to be born blind, having never seen anything, and then have someone say and do the right thing to give you the ability to see. It would be spectacular! When JESUS walked among us, “giving sight” to those who were blind, was His most frequently recorded miracle. He loved to do it. He loved giving sight to the physically blind and the spiritually blind. I believe HIS most overlooked, yet frequent miracle in our day, is still “giving sight to the blind”! I'm praying you'll join me, as we look to JESUS to restore our sight! Pastor Joe Still
This week Pastor Stacy shares a powerful message on some of the words that Jesus spoke to the disciples during the last supper.
Jesus shares that the only criteria to be a teacher on this path is to 1) consider ourselves a lights in this world, 2) be cognizant of the truth of Divine Love, and 3) be able to demonstrate this to others. If you are not yet prepared, ask what holds you back and makes you reluctant. Then pray to be in the flow of God's Love. Go to divinelovesanctuary.ca to learn more about God's Divine Love. Paul tells us what salvation brings us. Part of that is learning to be like Jesus in his character. Is that even possible? Let's find out together as we read Romans 5:1-11 and Luke 6:37-49.
Jesus heals a lot of people, but the story usually called “Jesus and the Man Born Blind” is one of the longest and most detailed meditations on illness, disability, and healing. And it's one of the few times where the experience of the disabled person–in this case, the “man born blind”--is centered in the text. So it's fitting that our guest preacher, a person who lives with disability themselves and has a ministry centering the needs and gifts, the whole personhood of disabled people, will share their experience with us. Raising Kids or Disciples of Jesus? Bryan Borden Matthew 28:18-20 ~ Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Ephesians 6:1-4 ~ Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do. Honor your father and mother. This is the first commandment with a promise: If you honor your father and mother, things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. I Corinthians 13:11 ~ When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Mark 10:14-16 ~ "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them. Children: • Obey your parents • Honor your parents Ephesians 6:4 • NIV ~ Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. • NLT ~ Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord. • MSG ~ Fathers, don't frustrate your children with no-win scenarios. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master. Parents: • Do not exasperate, provoke, or frustrate your children • Cherish your children • Discipline and train your children Proverbs 13:24 ~ Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them. Hebrews 12:10-11 ~ For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening — it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. Dr. Christian Smith ~ “Most teenagers and their parents may not realize it, but a lot of research in the sociology of religion suggests that the most important social influence in shaping young people's religious lives is the religious life modeled and taught to them by their parents.” Mother Teresa ~ “Let me preach you without preaching, not by words but by my example, by the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, the evident fullness of the love my heart bears to you.” Judges 2:10 ~ After that generation died, another generation grew up who did not acknowledge the Lord or remember the mighty things he had done for Israel. Today, I will continue with another experience that Thomas and I shared, at a conference in Frankfurt in the summer of 1987. This was just a month after the musical and the "Jesus March" that took place in Munich. Thomas was invited to help with translating for one of the speakers. We organized a babysitter, and a place to stay, with friends from “Youth with a Mission.” A leader from the “Word of Faith” group in Munich, who was already booked to translate, asked Thomas if he could also come.In writing my life stories, I tend to analyse each one, according to that moment in time. Then I consider, how that correlates with the later years, even up until this present time. I try to trace the connections, and piece together what we learned, both the good and the bad experiences. With all of this, the most important aspect, is the spiritual side of our lives. Did we grow in the Lord according to the scripture, or were we sometimes led astray?
Jesus tells us that when the heart is humbled, the soul is exalted. When we come to God with weakness and human frailty, He lifts us up and gives us strength and our faith increases. Have you ever felt trapped? What was it like? Are there sins in your life that make you feel trapped? Being trapped by sinful temptations is real. So how do we escape? In John 14:6 Jesus says, “I am THE WAY, the Truth and the Life.” Jesus is THE WAY out of being trapped by temptations that often lead to sin. THE WAY out from guilt, and ultimately from our own graves. Sinful temptation is real and it is strong. On our own we can feel helpless, confined or trapped by it. With Jesus, however, comes hope. Hope by His overcoming the temptations that were real in his life. Hope from Jesus by His overcoming the power of sin, satan and ultimately death itself. Ezekiel 33:12–20 1 Corinthians 10:1–13 Luke 13:1–9

Family traits are always interesting. Often we see traits in us that remind us of a parent, grandparent, at other times we see our ways in our children, grandchildren, a niece or a nephew. Sometimes the way one looks goes back to a previous generation. It is in us! This week Pastor Juan Carlos invites us to consider what it would look like to claim the way of Jesus as in us. All of us sealed by the Spirit with the image of God, all of us able to move, act, be like the one who is love made flesh. When we do so it changes everything!
In this sermon, Pastor Jamey emphasizes the transformative power of the words of Jesus, focusing on His mission to seek and save the lost. He explores the parables in Luke chapter 15, highlighting the joy of recovery and redemption through the stories of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. Pastor Jamey encourages listeners to recognize their own need for grace and to embrace their identity as children of God rather than identifying with self-righteousness. Ultimately, he calls everyone, regardless of their past, to come home to the Father, who welcomes them with love and celebration. Thanks for listening! Follow us on Facebook or YouTube.
The season of Epiphany begins at Jesus' baptism with a heavenly announcement, “You are my son, the beloved.” The season ends with an announcement from the cloud, “This is my son, the Chosen. Listen to him.” Epiphany is about the multi-faceted revelation of Jesus' identity. “Who is Jesus?” is the prime question we must sort out before we can follow him.
It's Friday, August 23rd, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Three Pakistani Christian girls held ransom by Muslim employer Three girls illegally detained by their employers were forced to testify that they had converted to Islam and wished to return to their captors, but thankfully a judge in Pakistan returned them to their Christian parents, reports Morning Star News. On August 15th, Justice Shakil Ahmed of the Lahore High allowed the sisters, ages 9, 13, and 16, to retract their forced claims and gave custody of them back to their parents, Naveed and Mina Masih, both of whom are brick kiln workers. The couple had sent their daughters to a Muslim woman, Haleema Bibi, in September 2023 for placement as domestic workers, but soon Bibi told them that their employers were demanding $1,077 as a “security deposit” to return their oldest daughter. The oldest daughter, Hina, said that her Muslim employer, Madiha Sameer, had told her that converting to Islam was the only way to save herself from her family. She said, “He would send me to Dubai as a sex worker or could even sell my body organs for money.” According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the seventh most difficult country worldwide in which to be a Christian. Praise God for this family's reunification. 2,000 march for Jesus in Prague On Saturday, August 3, Salvation Crew, in collaboration with the Norwegian missionary movement Jesus Revolution and Reach the World, organized the second Jesus March in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The event was a follow-up to a similar gathering in November 2023, which was then attended by 1,000 people. This year, participation doubled to 2,000 people, reports Evangelical Focus. From the stage, Christian song and dance was interspersed with young people who offered colorful testimonies about how they repented of their sins and trusted Jesus Christ for His forgiveness. Hillary Clinton claimed Kamala protected children, but is pro-abortion This past Monday night, at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Hillary Clinton, who lost the presidential election to Donald Trump in 2016, claimed that Kamala Harris was a champion of the children. CLINTON: “Kamala has the character, experience and vision to lead us forward. I know her heart and her integrity. “We both got our start as young lawyers helping children who were abused and neglected. Those kids stay with you. Kamala carries with her the hopes of every child she protected, every family she helped, every community she served.” After claiming that Kamala Harris protected children, Hillary, like most Democrats, then ironically justified Kamala's advocacy of killing children in the womb. Listen to the disturbingly long and loud roar of approval by the delegates at the Democratic National Convention in favor of child-killing. CLINTON: “So, as president, she will always have our backs. She will restore abortion rights nationwide. (cheers and applause) With faith in each other and love in our hearts, let's send Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House.” Exodus 20:13 says, “You shall not murder." Trump unveils tough new penalties for illegal criminals on Arizona border While the Democrats were gathered in Chicago, Donald Trump went to Sierra Vista, Arizona, along our southern border, to draw a visual contrast between his approach to securing the border and that of his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, reports The Associated Press. Paul Perez, the president of the Border Patrol union, said, “To my right is what we call the Trump wall. This was the wall that was built under President Trump. To my left, we have what we call the Kamala wall. It's just sitting there doing nothing, lying down.” Joining Trump on his Thursday border visit were the mothers of children who were killed by illegal immigrants allowed entrance across the border by the Biden-Harris administration during Kamala Harris' reign as the Border Czar. Former President Trump unveiled some tough new policies. TRUMP: “We will impose tough new sentences on illegal alien criminals. These include 10-year mandatory minimum sentences for anyone guilty of human smuggling, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or woman sex trafficking. “We will liberate our country from the illegal alien drug dealers, robbers, murderers, gang members, and child predators. We will make America safe again for our citizens.” Young father wins custody of son after ex-wife raised him ‘nonbinary' A dad recently won full custody of his 4-year-old son after a legal battle with his ex-wife who wanted to raise their boy as “nonbinary,” reports LifeSiteNews.com. Harrison Tinsley now has full custody of his son Sawyer after a “4 1/2-year” battle that has been going on since the boy was born. The boy's mother used “they/them” pronouns for Sawyer as well as dressing him like a girl, as previously reported by The Daily Signal. The father said, “Definitely my faith, Christianity,” but also “family, friends” and a “deep feeling in my soul that I have to do this no matter what pain I go through.” That pain included court battles, a visit from Child Protective Services, raising money for legal fees, and dealing with an ex with mental health problems and substance abuse issues. 18-year-old guides 16 hikers on wildfire evacuation route And finally, out from the ash and flames of the wildfires that scorched Canada's Jasper National Park comes the story of a heroic 18-year-old who saved over 16 people, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. Working as a volunteer firefighter and kitchen aide at a lodge, Colleen Knull received an evacuation order on a Monday in late July. Stepping outside she saw smoke rising up the mountainsides, and knew that there were people still camping in the area. KNULL: “I like to be able to help people. I like the fact that what I do in my work does good.” Alerting everyone at the lodge, she went out to gather the campers until 16 people were ready to evacuate. Darkness was falling, and getting out of the area meant a 4-hour hike across treacherous terrain. KNULL: “The smoke was coming up from the mountainside. It was big.” Rebecca Tocher, one of those rescued, described the environment. TOCHER: “My eyes were burning. There was ash falling constantly.” Another hiker added this. HIKER: “The sky was bright red. It wasn't black. It was red when you looked up.” Knull used her knowledge of the area and tracking skills to help navigate the 16 people down the trail. Tocher added, “She was an amazing leader and was just making sure that everyone was working together.” Incredibly, all 16 hikers made it out ahead of the fires and successfully evacuated in the back of Knull's pickup truck. KNULL: “I do it because, at the end of the day, I know I'd want to go home, and I'd want to have somebody there to help.” John 15:13 says, “ Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.” Or, in this case, for strangers.
