If you want a Jesus that can actually transform you, you have to search for the real Jesus. In a world full of fake promises and shallow saviors, how do we know who to trust? This week, Pastor Jason unpacks Hebrews 1:1–4 and the bold claim of the Nicene Creed: that Jesus is not a created being, but the eternal Son of God—begotten, not made. With stories, cultural insight, and gospel clarity, this message challenges us to reject the knockoff versions of Jesus and worship the One who alone can save.

Brothers Whit and Gabe George grew up in church, but their journeys to truly following Jesus took different paths—both marked by pride, just in different forms. Both had to face the unsettling reality that pride, whether loud or quiet, keeps us from God. Like Peter, they had to be confronted with what was really inside of them—not to be condemned, but to be changed. Real transformation began when they stopped pointing outward and dared to ask, “Lord, is it me?” Only then did they begin to understand that faith isn't built on perfection—it's built on dependency. In this episode, Whit and Gabe share stories from their childhood, explore Peter's actions in Mark 14, and reflect on the painful and beautiful journey of discovering who you really are in light of Christ. Besides being God in flesh, Jesus was fully a "man". It's easy to understand why He didn't look forward to His horrible beating and crucifixion, but He knew that He had prophesies to fulfill and that He needed to do His Fathers will thus He freely surrendered Himself to the crowd that came to illegally arrest Him.Frank Spalding and the preaching team at Lincoln Hills Christian Church welcomes all those seeking to know more about the Real Jesus and how to be an active disciple.
The crowd had expectations about Jesus. They knew what they wanted. So do we. But Jesus doesn't live into those expectations. He offers something else. Something better. Pastor Matthew's sermon is based on the Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem in Luke 19.

Sometimes we come to Jesus thinking we see clearly, but like Peter in this passage, we often only see part of the picture. When Jesus asks, “Who do you say I am?” Peter gets the right answer—“You are the Christ.” But he still doesn't fully understand what that means. He's holding onto his own ideas of who Jesus should be, and it leads him to push back against Jesus' plan to suffer and be killed. We can do the same. We can hold on to our own ideas, our preconceived notions about Jesus. But following Jesus means laying all of that down - laying down our very life! As we surrender and trust Jesus, one obedient step at a time, we get a greater revelation of who He is, and we experience true life in Him.You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 8:45am and 10;30am CST every Sunday morning.
