The wood chips were recently transported from Brazil to Foynes Port in Co. Limerick on a large cargo ship, a journey of 7,500 kilometres. Almost 100 years American ornithologist Benjamin Gault came to Kerry and Cork. His purpose was to document birdlife but the films he shot also captured the way people lived in the 1920s just after the War of Independence and Civil War. His footage was forgotten for decades but his visit lived on in folk memory. Micheál Ó Mainnín decided over a decade to find out what happened to Benjamin Gault’s films after he had heard the tales of an American recording films in West Kerry in the 1920s. Jerry spoke to Micheál and to Dr Aoife Granville from Dingle. 날 ▶ 나도 당할 수 있다. 교통사고 보험사기 전국에 내려진 상습 고의교통사고 보험사기 주의보. 최근 울산에서는 지나가는 차량 바퀴에 고의로 발을 밀어 넣는 수법으로 10건의 교통사고를 유발한 사기범이 검거되었고, 부산에서는 불법으로 차선을 변경하는 교통법규 위반 차량을 노려 고의로 교통사고를 낸 일당 6명이 붙잡혔다. 2022년 기준 자동차 보험사기 적발 피해 금액은 약 5060억으로 전체 보험사기 피해 금액 중 약 43.5%를 차지하며, 적발 인원의 수는 56,746명으로 전체 중 약 55.3%를 차지하는 등 매우 중대한 범죄 사항. 실제 피해자들을 만나 당시 상황을 자세히 들어보니 눈 뜨고 당할 수밖에 없었던 이유가 있었다는데, 고의교통사고 보험사기의 실태와 문제점을 알아보고, 사기 대처법까지 함께 에서 취재한다. MCSI ▶ 사각지대 속 두 번의 비명 노상에서 두 명의 여성이 쓰러진 채 발견되는 사건이 발생했다. 복부에 두 곳의 자상을 입은 여대생은 다행히 구사일생했으나, 목이 졸린 흔적이 남아있던 회사원은 끝내 숨을 거두고 말았다. CCTV 확인 결과, 사망 여성이 비명이 들려온 장소로 뛰쳐나간 뒤 시신으로 발견된 것으로 보아 여대생에게 몹쓸 짓을 저지르려던 괴한을 저지하던 중 사망한 것으로 추정됐다. 사망 여성과 인근 숙박업소에 투숙했다가 나왔던 내연남, 아내의 외도를 의심하고 뒤를 밟았던 사망 여성의 남편, 뒤늦게 의식을 회복한 여대생의 증언을 바탕으로 용의자로 지목된 성범죄 전과자가 유력한 용의선상에 올랐다. 수사 결과, 여대생에게 흉기를 휘두른 인물과 사망 여 성의 목을 졸라 살해한 인물까지 총 두 명의 범인이 있는 것으로 의심되는 상황. 경찰은 DNA 감식 기술을 통해 전과자를 여대생 성폭행 미수'로 체포하고, 혈흔 채취 시약인 ‘블러드 플레어'를 통해 사망 여성과 함께 있던 내연남을 사망 여성을 살해한 혐의로 체포해 두 범인의 자백을 이끌어냈다. CCTV 사각 지대에서 벌어진 두 건의 범행, 그 전말을 에서 밝힌다. Dana Fischer, little Nissa cosplayer and GP grinder, is barely big enough to the hold the cards, but she knows how to cast them. She’s beaten many opponents playing Elves. Nathan Steuer, competes at almost every tournament he can. A member of Team Versus Games from the San Francisco bay area, he’s ready to chew up anyone that stands in his way. Ethan Brown, a wiz kid from Portland stunned the coverage team when he made it to the finals of GP LA piloting Modern Affinity. Armed with a fierce knowledge of the metagame, he is eager to return to the Pro Tour. Miley Chen, this young spellslinger from Boston enjoys EDH, draft, and most importantly griefing her dad, Mainn. They practice drafts together often so I won’t be surprised if I see Miley at the Pro Tour soon. Leo Strober-Cohen, hails from Magic’s home town of Seattle. He’s excited to brew up decks and experiment in the game of Magic. He cares about making Magic more accessible in cost to all players that love the game. Quinn Kiefer, proud member of the Kiefer Brothers trio, Quinn has battled with the biggest names in Magic. Quinn is attending his first Pro Tour later this year at Pro Tour 25th Anniversary. All of these rising stars are eager to compete at the Pro Tour and one day see themselves in the Hall of Fame.
