Cowabunga Mayhem! (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem). Den perfekta blandningen av G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero och Transformers gör ingen besviken! Under Vacation in Europe besökte sköldpaddorna varken Sverige eller Finland, men däremot Norge. M.A.S.K. is an animated television series produced by the French-American DIC Enterprises, Inc and Kenner. The series was based on the M.A.S.K. action figures.[1] It was animated in Asia by studios; KK C&D Asia, Studio Juno, Studio World, and Ashi Production. M.A.S.K. (an acronym for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) is a special task force featuring an array of characters, led by Matt Trakker, with transforming vehicles engaged in an ongoing battle against the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. (an acronym for Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), with an emphasis on super-powered masks worn by the characters on the show. It is never made clear what sort of criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. is, exactly. They were not the typical world-conquering villains and their schemes mostly revolve around profiting from illegal activities and doing mercenary services. Wyatt Bloom and Brian Cave discuss M.A.S.K. episode 62 titled Disappearing Act wherein we see classic automobiles are disappearing from a museum, including one on loan from Matt Trakker. V.E.N.O.M. is using a prototype shrinking ray and a magnet to pull of this trick and it's up to Matt and his fellow agents to solve this crime.
Mobile Armoured Strike Kommand or M.A.S.K is the cartoon we watched this week, the good guys and the bad guys both wear helmets that give them special abilities (I guess they couldn't make up a good acronym using HELMET). James a proud owner of a Matt Trakker and vehicle toy's loves this cartoon fondly, so of course the rest of the squad sensed this weakness and mocked the show a little bit (a lot). Listen to the episode for an inspiring 'would you rather' and all the usual nonsense, and for a change we spend most of the episode actually talking about the cartoon! -This weeks Episode was S01E08 The Roteks.
