Send us a textThis week on Leave Your Mark, I sit down with Dave Stubbs, a veteran Montreal sports journalist and, since 2016, historian and columnist for NHL.com. As Dave approaches 50 years in sports journalism, he reflects on a remarkable career that began in 1976 and has taken him from local newspapers to the Olympic Games, and eventually, to chronicling the history of the NHL itself. We discuss his journey through the Montreal Gazette, his time working with national sports organizations, the transition from newsroom management to storytelling, and what it means to spend a lifetime documenting the people and moments that shape sports. Dave brings humor, humility, and perspective to a conversation about writing, history, and the enduring power of sport to connect us all. I really enjoyed this conversation, and I think you will as well.If you liked this EP, please take the time to rate and comment, share with a friend, and connect with us on social channels IG @Kingopain, TW @BuiltbyScott, LI+FB Scott Livingston. EPISODE 152 – Why RFK Jr. is wrong to claim that Tylenol causes autism. According to the Wall Street Journal, RFK Jr. and the HHS are planning to release a report claiming acetaminophen (Tylenol/paracetamol) is inked to autism spectrum disorder. The evidence says he's wrong. Not just because the better quality studies show no link, not just because autism is probably mostly genetic with some minor environmental factors impacting its prevalence, but also because the alternatives to Tylenol for pain/fever control are much worse.   Become a supporter of our show today either on Patreon or through PayPal!
