Debbie's mother came to Canada with 35 other women as part of Canada's Domestic Scheme which ran from 1955-1967. Debbie shares what that was like for her mom and how her mom helped make it possible for many Black families to rent homes in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (NDG).
