The 2024 Cigar Coop Cigar of the Year is the Perdomo 30th Anniversary Maduro Epicure. Perdomo Cigars is not known for frequently releasing all-new lines. Coming in at #7 on the 2024 Cigar of the Year Countdown is the Perdomo 30th Anniversary Connecticut Epicure. The Perdomo 30th Anniversary line was easily one of the most anticipated cigar lines to hit the market in recent memory. It's hard to believe that about 18 months the world first got a look at the Perdomo 30th Anniversary line at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show. In fact, when it came to the final packaging, Perdomo's Arthur Kemper and Nicholas Perdomo III kept the design under wraps from CEO Nick Perdomo until the night before the Trade Show. A few months later, Perdomo would ship its 30th anniversary to retailers. Full Details: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-uDu

Coming in at #24 is the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure. Back in the early 2000s when Nick Perdomo introduced a line called the Perdomo Inmenso. It was a line well ahead of its time, as it featured some very large ring gauge cigars. Over the past decade, large ring gauge cigars have earned a seat at the table in the cigar marketplace. 60-ring gauge cigars are a staple for many lines, and it's not uncommon to see 70-ring gauge lines. Last year, Perdomo Cigars announced the return of the Perdomo Inmenso. It's now being dubbed the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy because it's a line that features all 70-ring gauge offerings in different lengths. The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy also has a revamped blend and an all-new look. It was released in two wrappers – Sun Grown and Maduro. It's the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro in the Epicure (6 x 70) size that lands on this year's Countdown. The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy is produced at Tabacalera Perdomo is Estelí, Nicaragua. The blend for the Maduro is highlighted by a Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over a binder and filler from Nicaragua. All of the tobaccos are grown on the Perdomo farms. The Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure produced notes of coffee, cedar, earth, cocoa, dried fruit, and black pepper. Most of the smoking experience delivers a medium-strength, medium-bodied profile. Toward the last third, the strength and body progress to medium to full. This is Perdomo's third consecutive appearance on a Cigar Coop Countdown. The Perdomo Inmenso Epicure Maduro is only the second 70-ring gauge cigar to get on a Cigar Coop Countdown. If you have been following our coverage so far, the Perdomo Inmenso Seventy Maduro Epicure is the fifth cigar from Nicaragua to land a spot. Full Report: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-oi4

Nick Perdomo from Perdomo Cigars joins the Big O Show
Nick Perdomo from Perdomo Cigars joins the show to discuss the huge year that his team has in front of them in 2022. We will get the scoop on the much-anticipated Perdomo 30th Anniversary cigar as well as how they have been handling the tricky landscape with inflation and the supply chain crisis. There isn't a more passionate person in the cigar industry, so you will NOT want to miss this show.
Coming in at #6 is the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Maduro Robusto. Last year when Perdomo Cigars announced they were discontinuing the Champagne Noir and Champagne Sun Grown cigars, it surprised a lot of people - including this author. However, it was clear that Nick Perdomo and his team knew they had something special with the new 10th Anniversary Maduro and Sun Grown lines. The 10th Anniversary Sun Grown landed a #23 on this year's Countdown and now the Maduro lands at number six. The blend for the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro features 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos. According to Perdomo Cigars, the 10th Anniversary Maduro uses a six-year-aged Cuban-seed wrapper, binder, and fillers from its farms in Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa. The wrapper itself also has an additional 14 months of aging on it inside bourbon barrels. Production is handled out of the Tabacalera Perdomo S.A. facility in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Robusto measures 5 x 54. The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box Pressed Maduro Robusto delivers notes of mocha (coffee, and chocolate fusion), citrus, oak, cedar, mineral, and pepper. The flavors start out medium-bodied before progressing to medium to full in the second half. This is countered by medium strength. On top of an excellent flavor profile, this cigar delivers a stellar performance in terms of burn and draw. One can argue the combination of the 10th Anniversary Champagne, Sun Grown, and Maduro is one of the strongest blend trifectas ever. This is the second year in a row Perdomo Cigars has placed two cigars on the Cigar of the Year Countdown. Of the 25 cigars unveiled thus far on the 2021 Countdown, this is the 18th one from Nicaragua. For details of the 2021 Cigar of the Year Countdown, see our 2021 criteria: https://cigar-coop.com/2021/12/announcement-criteria-for-the-2021-cigar-of-the-year-countdown.html Cigar Coop Report: https://wp.me/p6h1n1-lMJ

This week Nick Perdomo joins Matt and Jon and they talk a lot about what has kept Perdomo Cigars consistent in a world where many brands are always coming out with new blends, skus, and lines in their portfolios. Nick takes us through how Perdomo has stayed ahead of the game during the pandemic and the second cigar boom that followed. Nick takes us into how he has planned for the next generation of the company to unfold in the future, mostly through VP Arthur Kemper and his son Nicolas. We also dive into what is being called a smash hit with the success of the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro. This weeks news comes to us from Micallef cigars - Pete Johnson has announced that due to packaging difficulties, the Tatuaje Advent calendar scheduled for release this November will be delayed until mid-2022, what we predict might be promoted as a "Christmas in July." Our Top Three brought to us by Room 101 cigars has Nick and Jon telling us about their favorite hot spots (mostly places to eat) in the Miami area. Don't forget to find us on social media as well as ur YouTube Channel for more content and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to always stay in the loop!

From the 2021 PCA Trade Show, we talk to Nick Perdomo of Perdomo Cigars. For the past few years, Perdomo Cigars has been known to have one of the more elaborate booths at the Trade Show. This has included Macy's department-store-like displays, a big video screen, and of course Nick Perdomo's iconic drum set. This year, Perdomo Cigars went in the direction of economy of scale and had a much simpler booth. The booth was still was laid out quite nicely – showcasing the products very well and providing enough workspace for the Perdomo team to do business. When it comes to merchandising and placing product in a humidor, Perdomo Cigars is at the top of the game – and the displays were impressive. The booth was also bustling with activity throughout the whole trade show. Perdomo had some newer products to show off, including a surprise item that was unveiled at this year's show. Perdomo is one of my favorite cigar brands. (Click BELOW for all Perdomo cigar reviews). When I discovered the Perdomo Champagne, my world was turned upside down and my perspective of lighter cigars changed. All Perdomo Reviews: https://www.cigarscore.com/tag/perdomo-cigars/09:24 - Hooten Young Gothic Serpent: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv-0p6zlKtcSo, when I saw that Nick Perdomo and his team had blended a darker version of one of my favorite cigars, I knew I had to smoke it. Today we're diving into the Perdomo Champagne Noir Epicure, which is a cocoa-colored (ie. noir), much bolder-looking version of the Champagne than I've been used to.After cutting and lighting the Noir, the flavors were good, like those of chocolate cake, but the binder and filler tobaccos were so densely packed that I struggled to get a good draw.CigarScore Merch!: https://click.cigarscore.com/merchytUse coupon code CIGARSCORETV to get 15% OFF!Brand: PerdomoLine: Champagne NoirSize: 6 x 54Cut: GuillotineLight: TorchPrice: $8.75Wrapper: Nicaraguan Cuban Seed MaduroBinder: NicaraguaFiller: NicaraguaBuy This Cigar: https://click.cigarscore.com/fs-perdomo-champagne-noirFinal Thoughts:The Perdomo Champagne Noir Epicure is like the regular Champagne, but not. What I mean is that there are some similar flavors, which is a good thing, but the maduro wrapper, as opposed to the Connecticut wrapper, changes the flavors tremendously. It's like the Noir kept all the good parts of the Champagne, but made it better. Comtrya!I really enjoyed this cigar and am looking forward to the next one. It comes in at a great price and, other than a slightly tight draw, it was fantastic. Before releasing in the United States, the Perdomo Factory Tour Blend was previously only available at the Perdomo factory in Nicaragua after you finished, you guessed it, the factory tour. However, the cigar was so successful for the brand that Nick Perdomo and his team decided to bring the cigar to market. So, after hearing about this cigar from the owner of a lounge here locally, I decided to give the Perdomo Factory Tour Blend Maduro Churchill a try.The first few puffs were really delicious. The wrapper was beautiful, and the mixture of Nicaraguan tobaccos lead to expectations of a wonderful cigar. After smoking about the first inch, the wonderful flavors that got the cigar started, began to fade. Through the middle of the cigar, the draw was a little tight.07:56 - Perdomo 20th Anniversary Connecticut Epicure (Toro): https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-perdomo-20th-anniversary-connecticut-epicure/Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage Maduro (Churchill): https://www.cigarscore.com/review-perdomo-double-aged-12-year-vintage-maduro-churchill/Brand: PerdomoLine: Factory Blend MaduroSize: 7 x 52Cut: GuillotineLight: TorchPrice: $9.25Wrapper: NicaraguanBinder: NicaraguaFiller: NicaraguaBuy this Cigar: https://click.cigarscore.com/fs-perdomo-factoryblendmaduroCigarScore Merch!: https://click.cigarscore.com/merchytUse coupon code CIGARSCORETV to get 15% OFF!Final Thoughts:The first third of the Perdomo Factory Tour Blend Maduro Churchill was delicious. The middle third was ok. And the final third was disappointing. It was like all of the intention to detail went into the first half of the cigar and none was paid to how the smoke finished. While I didn't love this cigar, I suspect, based on my experience with other Perdomo cigars, that other vitolas might be better and the filler/binder/wrapper ration will improve the experience. So, if I can find one, I plan to buy and smoke an epicure (toro) of this same cigar.Because I didn't love the flavors, but because the burn and draw were decent enough, the Perdomo Factory Tour Blend Maduro Churchill earns a CigarScore 3, and I plan on having it again, just in a different size.#CigarScoreTV:::::Find & Rate Where to Smoke Cigarsat https://www.cigarscore.com::::: More Cigar Reviews:CigarScore 5 Cigars (Best): https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-reviews/cigarscore-5/CigarScore 4 Cigars: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-reviews/cigarscore-4/CigarScore 3 Cigars: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-reviews/cigarscore-3/CigarScore 2 Cigars: https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-reviews/cigarscore-2/CigarScore 1 Cigars (Worst): https://www.cigarscore.com/cigar-reviews/cigarscore-1/:::::Where I buy my cigars: https://click.cigarscore.com/famoussmokePremium Cigar Samplers: https://click.cigarscore.com/fs-premiumsamplers:::::Get CigarScore Emails - https://www.cigarscore.com/subscribe::::: SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cigarscoreTwitter: https://www.twitter.com/cigarscoreInstagram: https://Instagram.com/cigarscore::::: AFFILIATE DISCLAIMER: Hey, so, some of the links in my videos and descriptions are affiliate links. This week's after show was pre-recorded to accommodate the hurricane in Florida. Our guest is Nick Perdomo and we discus: How important are having perfect seeds? What does the landscape of the company look like for the future? Is there shade grown Nicaraguan tobacco on Perdomo's horizon? All this and more on the Roma Craft Tobac Aftershow!

Today I'm smoking a cigar that, at first, I didn't want to buy. Initially, I was not interested in the Perdomo Champagne because of it's light-colored wrapper and the gold-ish colored cellophane that holds the cigar. Was I wrong to avoid the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Cabinet Series Champagne? Or, was it a pleasant surprise? Let's find out!Buy this cigar: https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/drxPkLink to 5 Cigars that Made My Career: Nick Perdomo: https://famous-smoke.7eer.net/27OYzMy Zino Platinum Review: https://youtu.be/-i56DCtbjcoInitial Thoughts:I first heard about the Perdomo Champagne when we were in Rockford, Illinois. Mike, the owner of Rudy's Cigars, told me about this cigar, but I was hesitant to try it because of the cigar's light color. The Perdomo Champagne, a.k.a. Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Cabinet Series Champagne is an interesting cigar. Nick Perdomo, the founder of Perdomo Cigars, said the Champagne was one of the five cigars that made his career and which put his company on the map. After smoking just the first inch, I can already see why. The flavors are fantastic, the wrapper is just about perfect, and the Nicaraguan filler tobacco provides a punch of flavor underneath the Connecticut shade wrapper.Brand: PerdomoLine: 10th Anniversary Cabinet Series ChampagneSize: 5 x 54Cut: PunchLight: TorchPrice: $8Final Thoughts:Wow, what a surprise. I never expected the Perdomo Champagne to have as much flavor as it did. Nick Perdomo has managed to pack full flavors into a cigar with a Connecticut Shade wrapper that deceives the eyes. Aside from a minor issue in the middle, this cigar had an even burn. The punch provided a slightly tight but consistent draw that allowed me to get plenty of smoke in each puff. However, toward the end of the middle third of the cigar, I started noticing some harshness to the smoke. It wasn't bad, but it was noticeable, and it might be a reason fans of lighter cigars would want to approach the Perdomo Champagne caution. Because of this harshness and the slight burn issues, I give the Perdomo Champagne Robusto a CigarScore of 4, and I would happily smoke it again.:::::Find & Rate Where to Smoke Cigars at https://www.cigarscore.comWhere I buy my cigars: https://click.cigarscore.com/famoussmokePremium Cigar Samplers: https://click.cigarscore.com/fs-premiumsamplers:::::Subscribe to my YouTube Channel! - https://click.cigarscore.com/subscribeonyoutube::::: Gear I Used or Mentioned in This Video :::::Main camera: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canon80dMain lens: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canon18125mmMusic: https://www.cigarscore.com/musicLapel mic: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-movolv1Sturdy tripod: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-tripodTravel camera: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-canong7xiiHandheld tripod: https://www.ellorywells.com/yt-manfrotto:::::SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cigarscoreTwitter: https://www.twitter.com/cigarscoreInstagram: https://Instagram.com/cigarscore:::::AFFILIATE DISCLAIMER: Hey, so, some of the links in my videos and descriptions are affiliate links.
