Production Note: This version fixed issues with Sarah's audio. It seems as though, once Joey broke the seal in the last episode and initiated a kiss with Pacey, they basically have not stopped kissing since. And that's a problem, because the longer they wait, the worse it's going to be when Dawson finds out. The plan is for Pacey to tell him. But then Joey stops him and says SHE should be the one to tell him. But then Dawson interrupts and it kind of seems like NO ONE has to tell him...but how could that be? It turns out that this day was unusually eventful, so we see the events from Pacey's, then Joey's, and then Dawson's perspectives, as Capeside's biggest secret is finally told. This may not be our shortest episode, because it's about "The Longest Day"! JOIN THE AWT CLUB

Mondays Right.
On Sunday we look at the longest day, the crucifixion of Jesus. It starts with a night arrest and ends with Jesus giving up His spirit and dying. Often we skip over the details, preferring to rush forward to Easter. But, we need to consider the longest day, so that we can really understand and appreciate the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross. Thankfully, the longest day is not the final word, but opens the way for the greatest day, the resurrection of Jesus. Join us at 10:30am and bring a friend!

Navigating Leadership Under the IceEpisode Summary:In this episode of The Longest Day in Uncharted Way, we are joined by Mike Davis-Marks OBE, a former Royal Navy officer who spent 36 years navigating submarines, including commanding a nuclear submarine. Mike shares an incredible story from his early career, detailing a life-or-death moment when he had to challenge his commanding officer on a dangerous decision while operating under the Arctic ice. Through this experience, Mike learned the role of silence in conflict, and his reflections on leadership, courage, and the importance of standing up for what's right provide invaluable lessons for anyone in a leadership role. Mike now works with veterans and organizations to promote people-focused leadership and transform workplace cultures."You have to stand up for your principles, even if it could cost you everything. But you don't have to scream and shout. You have to be firm about what you believe in." If you're inspired by Mike's story and want to learn more about transforming leadership in your organisation, visit The True Leader website and explore their leadership development programs. Additionally, if you're a veteran or know someone who is, check out theveteran.uk to discover how their skills can elevate your career or organisation. Joshua 10:1-15 | Mike Clarensau | One thing to keep in mind as we read through Joshua is that the Lord is carrying out his judgment on the people in the land. Sometimes God uses man as his sword, but he is more than capable of carrying out his offensives without us. The focus of this passage is not on the martial might of Israel calling in the heavenly artillery by summoning a deity to fight for them. The Lord himself throws hailstones down on the Amorites, and most of the fallen were from his hand, not Israel's. Whatever the Amorites did, it must have been pretty bad for God to make fresh stones just for their stoning. His ways are higher, and his knowledge is greater than ours. We must trust His righteousness in that time, also the text itself says that “there has been no day like it before or since, when the Lord heeded the voice of a man, for the Lord fought for Israel.” This makes it clear that ascribing something this clear-cut of God's “smiting” of a people is something that we can't do in our modern context.

CONTENT WARNING: Discussion of deafness, blindness, ableism. D-Day happened over 80 years ago, and to this day, there's only been two films that capture the scope and scale of that bloody day. This movie is one of those, and unfortunately it's the boring one. To be clear, the battle sequences are among some of the best committed to celluloid; there's a few moments that will make you gasp at how well legendary ringleader Darryl F. Zanuck captures the battlefield. But then we turn to the characters, and they're all a) played by actors double the age of the characters and b) say the absolute hokiest lines you'll hear in a war movie. It may be an accurate film, but this definitely isn't entertaining history. We continue Oscars ‘62 as we discuss The Longest Day onMacintosh & Maud Haven't Seen What?! CONTENT WARNING: Discussion of deafness, blindness, ableism. If you've ever done theater, and we definitely have, you dread the thought of having to deal with anything related to this movie and this story. And you'd be right to, because all too often we tell a sanitized, ableist, overacted retelling of a very real story: the breakthrough Annie Sullivan had teaching her student Helen Keller to communicate. So you'll have to pardon our shock while watching the original film adaptation of the Broadway success, and finding it's in fact a brilliant film. Director Arthur Penn is brilliant in adapting his own stage production by showing and not telling, a move that seems impossible for most stage to screen adaptations. Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke, reprising their roles from Broadway, are absolutely phenomenal. And sure, the supporting cast might as well be cardboard cutouts, but it doesn't matter when you've got a film as compellingly made as this one. We finally get a winner for Oscars ‘62 as we talk about The Miracle Worker onMacintosh & Maud Haven't Seen What?! Yo, Adrian!! We're diving headfirst into the illusion of perfection and why it's time to stop waiting for the “right moment.” In this episode, we reflect on lessons learned from The Rocky Run half-marathon (and conquering the infamous Drago Hill), launching our first Muay Thai gym under less-than-ideal circumstances, and embarking on a game-changing digital detox. We'll explore the power of small, consistent steps—whether you're tackling a new fitness goal, taking on a professional leap, or just trying to stay present in a world full of distractions. From stress inoculation to creating boundaries with technology, this episode is packed with practical takeaways to help you act now and start building resilience today. Plus, we'll give you a sneak peek into the Resilience Report and how you can join the movement to stay focused, driven, and aligned in your daily life.
