Send me any questions hereI sat down with Preston Johnson, entrepreneur, risk-taker, and founder of a non-emergency medical transport company launched during the chaos of COVID.What struck me most wasn't the business strategy. It was his brutal honesty about burnout, ego, and rebuilding from the inside out.Preston didn't start out trying to be a business owner. He was a content creator, like so many of us, navigating uncertainty, driven by ambition, but often spread too thin. When COVID hit, he pivoted fast, launching a company that demanded more than just hustle. It demanded everything. In this conversation, we unpack what happens when you go from doing the work… to carrying the weight of it. He talks about wearing every hat in the early days, hitting the wall with burnout, and realizing that if he didn't build better habits, nothing else would last. But this isn't just a story about business. It's about identity.Preston opened up about the gap between who he thought he was, and who he actually wanted to be. About how ego kept him from trying new things. About how real confidence came when his actions finally aligned with his core self.We also went deep on failure. Not the Instagram version. But the kind that punches you in the gut, leaves you questioning everything, and somehow becomes the thing that moves you forward. From taking micro-risks to developing emotional intelligence, Preston shares what it actually takes to grow—not just as an entrepreneur, but as a human. If you've ever felt like you're hustling hard but still stuck... this episode is your permission to pause, reassess, and rebuild, smarter, softer, and way more aligned. On today's episode, Jason opens the show by previewing the upcoming Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. This is one of those games where the betting leans for both sides have becoming more and more obvious as the days go on. Two weeks ago, we all tried to project certain scenarios and injuries as a way to gain an edge on the rest of the betting public. Now? Things are pretty cut and dry. There doesn't seem to be much of an edge anywhere for anyone. Later, Professional sports bettor Preston Johnson swings by to discuss why he believes the Eagles defense is being overrated a bit, why it's so important to shop around for the best price – especially when you're trying to bet props, why some bettors prefer to bet player props that go against their overall lean on the game itself and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show by sharing his Best Bets for the Super Bowl. We are joined by the National Champions of 2021 from the Miss St Bulldogs to talk about their past teammates, minor league ball and more.
On today's episode, Jason gets the party started by sharing his thoughts on the Boston Celtics' wild win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers looked dead to rights in the third, stormed back to take a big lead late in the fourth… only to blow it in the final minutes and eventually lose in overtime to Jayson Tatum and Co. This has become something of a trend for LeBron James and Anthony Davis as it is at least the third time this season that Los Angeles has fumbled a game in the final seconds of regulation. Tough night for the Purple & Gold. Later, professional sports bettor Preston Johnson swings by to discuss the trials and tribulations of owning a soccer team abroad, the application of analytics, the latest World Cup happenings (Portugal benching Ronaldo, Messi leading Argentina to the World Cup Final, the future of US Soccer, etc.), the Los Angeles Clippers' NBA championship odds, which NBA stars we'd trade for Victor Wembanyama and much more! In this week's episode, I speak with Preston Johnson, the founder of WAGMI United and co-Chairman of Crawley Town Football Club. Why am I interviewing the chairman of a professional sports team? Well, they're doing something a little different. Very different, in fact. This is the story of how a web3 project raised funds to buy an English football team and has grand plans to take them from the fourth tier of English football, all the way to the top. There's nothing conventional about the way they're running the club. The fans have a say in the players that the club buys, who they bring in as backroom staff, and can even vote to fire Preston as Chairman if the club isn't promoted to the next division within two years. Regardless of what you think about crypto, these examples are a great step forward for a local fanbase. And let's face it, if you've witnessed some of the ways in which English football clubs have been run in the more conventional sense in the past few years, it's clear that something needs to be done differently. Will the WAGMI United group be able to turn around the fortunes of Crawley Town? Only time will tell. If you're a fan of sports, have an interest in how crypto is being applied in the real world, or well, if you're a Crawley Town FC fan, I think you're going to enjoy this episode.

Both Bulldog basketball and the Diamond Dogs were coming off awkward defeats, and both bounced back Saturday for necessary victories. Mississippi State baseball smacked three home runs in a 10-1 rout of Northern Kentucky to even the series ahead of Sunday's rubber game with Coach Chris Lemonis revising his batting order again. Preston Johnson made a case to stay in the rotation with his Saturday start and the bullpen looks ready for game-three. Meanwhile Ben Howland's basketball Dogs beat-up Vanderbilt in the paint for a 74-69 win that keeps some breath of post-season hope going at Mississippi State, but it's a faint hope still with two regular season games left.
Pitching was of course key to Mississippi State's 2021 national championship season. Who will step up on the mound for the Bulldogs in 2022? They debate about a bare bones Spurs squad and whether Atlanta can steal the division from Miami. Then they tackle the toughest question going into the season (outside of Brooklyn): can Luka Doncic bring up a Jason Kidd team enough, or can Jason Kidd tear down a Luka Doncic team enough? Then, Justin gives his favorite MVP and 6th Man of the Year futures, and Preston asks an interesting question about what the Bulls have shown in the preseason, while Matt reveals he has the Magic as one of the worst teams of all time.
