Trailer

We're back to shout about one of our favorite things to shout about: Outlander! We're sharing the things we loved, hated, and loved to hate about Outlander Season 6 (MARK ME, we loved more things than we hated?). From the season that brought us such metaphors as THE-STORM-THE-WAR, we were also given gifts like the Benjamin Moore Outlander collection, throuple plots, justice for Fergus, and Matthew B Roberts' PR exit. Did we need season 6? No. Are were here now? Yes. So pour yourself a giant G&T and enjoy recapping with us!

His approach is to be a strategic catalyst and thought partner, creating alignment, clarity and action. He recently invited Richard Rankin, H&H Group plc CEO, to share his thoughts on his own podcast "The Purposeful Strategist" on why it's more important to make sure you're heading in the right direction than knowing exactly what your destination is. Richard also talks about his biggest challenge as a new CEO in a sector he didn't know and the role kindness and empathy have played in his success. We are delighted to share this interview with you on our H&H Group podcast.

Harrison & Hetherington and H&H Group led an innovative research programme which engaged figures under 40 from across the agricultural industry to voice their views on the future of farming. Through the ‘Farmstock Futures' project, CEO Richard Rankin initiated a much-needed conversation well before lockdown, with work on this comprehensive review of young perspectives across the agricultural sector moving online following the pandemic. Given the changes that COVID-19 has forced in terms of the functioning of the Marts, a discussion on the direction of travel for the younger generation within the agricultural sector was more than timely. This episode was recorded on #TimetoTalk day and in this episode, our partners from the Family Business Network Sue Howorth and Dave Clarkson, chat to two of the individual champions from the Farmstock Futures project about aspects of working within agriculture which are close to their hearts. Harry Huddart, works as Farm Manager for Beeswax Dyson Farming in Lincolnshire, farming his own block of land and being responsible for the livestock enterprises of beef finishing and sheep. Richard Walker, married with a young family, is self employed working as a Contract Shepherd and Farm Relief in the Dales and North Yorkshire. They chat today about the importance of networking and communicating with each other, mental health and the lack of social interaction during these unprecedented times, raising awareness of the wide scope of jobs available within the industry and just how the Farmstock Futures programme is providing them all with a voice to air change and influence the agricultural industry sector going forward.

It's been a while since we've complained, so we're coming in hot with a gamified format for filing our grievances. It's Kirstie's first Draft style event, and we are drafting Ways Outlander Has Wronged Us. If you're coming to this episode to agree with us about Outlander takes you will likely be disappointed. Additional updates this week include strong stances on supermarket themed television and a continued plea for any and all information about SMS for Dich/Text For You/Text for Dick?
Tim Sedgewick, Associate Director for H&H Land & Estates invites Richard Rankin to share his experiences and future plans following the Coronavirus lockdown, together with learning how the varied H&H companies coped with their individual challenges and their preparations for the future.
Welcome to our slightly delayed review of Outlander, season 5! We've got highs, we've got lows, and we've got petty thoughts. But that's not all, folks. We channeled the spirit of Outlander with this unwieldy 1:40 minute episode, which means we also had time for Mustache Moments™️, Jamie Fraser's Big Hagrid Energy, and wild speculation about the future of this series! If you don't care about Kirstie & Kelsey's Kuarantine Korner (rude), feel free to skip ahead to minute 8 to jump into Outlander talk.
Hey y'all, We had some technical difficulties and thus ran short on time but still managed to have a lot to say about the return of John Bell and his sick new threads, Richard Rankin's astounding performance, and whether or not it's a good idea to assume your audience is stupid. (Spoiler: it's not!) Maybe you liked it, maybe you didn't, but there's no denying that "Famous Last Words" is ambitious in a way few episodes of this series have been, and that is an undeniable Good Thing. So here are our very mixed thoughts about it. Lots of love, Allison, Julie, and Janine

Scottish actor Richard Rankin plays Roger Mackenzie Wakefield on the Starz hit series “Outlander” (Season 5 premieres on Sunday, February 16th). On this episode, he talks about the process of stepping back into playing Roger after being on hiatus. We have a very clinical discussion about sex scenes, chemistry, and the importance of genuine depth in on-screen romance. I ask if he’s looking for roles where he can use his American accent. A listener question leads to a discussion about the effects of time travel. Plus he (very objectively) talks about why he's the reason season 5 of “Outlander” is the best yet.
We talk all things Outlander with star Richard Rankin, who's Roger Wakefield has now traveled back in time in search of Brianna, Jamie and Claire. Also, TV Guide Magazine's Matt Roush and Damian Holbrook each give their take on the Best and Worst of 2018.
