In a shocking turn of events, David Glen Swift, 55, awaiting trial in Tennessee for the murder of his first wife, now finds himself behind bars in Alabama for stalking his second wife. Deputies made the arrest with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office after they discovered Swift's relentless pursuit of his ex-wife. The charge against Swift is one count of stalking in the first degree, and law enforcement officials in Jefferson County claim he had been persistently tailing his ex-wife in various locations, including parking outside her home during late-night and early-morning hours. Detectives gathered location information and evidence of the stalking, and the victim was unaware of the extent of the surveillance she had been under.   According to court records, Swift's second wife had recently finalized her long-sought divorce from him, a process that began in June 2022 and concluded in March. Swift's alleged stalking came to light shortly after his divorce was finalized. The case takes a darker turn when considering the pending murder trial of David Swift in Tennessee. In August 2022, Swift was arrested while leaving his divorce attorney's office on charges related to the disappearance and murder of his first wife, Karen Swift. The 44-year-old mother of four vanished in October 2011 after leaving a Halloween party, and her body was found nearly six weeks later in a cemetery near their home. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, with signs of assault and multiple fractures. Investigators took nearly 11 years to take over the murder case, and David Swift was subsequently charged with murder. He posted a $200,000 bond after extradition and returned to Bessemer, Alabama, while awaiting his murder trial in Tennessee, scheduled for January 2024. With the stalking allegations against him, the District Attorney's Office has petitioned to revoke Swift's pretrial bond. A hearing on this matter is set for August 11. It was during one of the most difficult times in his life that Roy DiNicola learned about the importance of community, and the importance of letting go of those things we cannot control.  In the spring of 2008, Roy and Holly DiNicola had been happily married for 14 years and were raising their three young boys, Ryan, Casey, and Owen, in Hopkinton, MA, just outside of Boston.  When Holly received a cancer diagnosis, their community rallied around them and stepped in with kindness, large and small.  As Roy and Holly became overnight experts on the range of treatment options for Holly's metastatic breast cancer, their community sprang into action:  cooking meals, shuttling the boys to school and sports practices, managing home renovations, and sending positive thoughts and prayers.  In order to share updates on Holly's progress, Roy created an online journal called “The Fight of the Irish.”  It also became a place for Roy to express his love and admiration for his wife's courage and dogged determination.  Holly's initial prognosis was good.  After just over a year of surgeries, treatments, and medications, Holly persevered.  In July 2009, she was declared cancer free and back to living her life at full speed.  Roy shut down the online journal.Two years later, in November 2011, Holly developed a cough that she just couldn't shake and her speech became impaired.  The cancer was back.  It had metastasized to her brain, lungs, and bones.  Over the next 3 ½ years, Holly fought valiantly.  In October 2014, having exhausted all available FDA-approved and experimental drug trials, Holly made the difficult decision to forgo further medical treatment.  On February 10, 2015, with family by her side, Holly passed away.  Several months later, on the occasion of spreading Holly's ashes in Ossipee Lake in New Hampshire, Roy sent one last post, poignantly writing, "In dying, she showed me how to live.”  This is a heartfelt and beautiful conversation; we are beyond grateful to Roy for sharing with us.  We know you will feel the same.Support this podcast by subscribing and reviewing!Music is considered “royalty-free” and discovered on Audio Blocks.Technical Podcast Support by: Jon Keur at Wayfare Recording Co.© 2022 Silver Linings Media LLC. Though she is not mentioned in the Torah, she has become associated with Adam over the centuries to reconcile contradictory versions of Creation in the book of Genesis. The first account is known as the Priestly version and appears in Genesis 1:26-27. Here, God fashions man and woman simultaneously when the text reads: “So God created mankind in the divine image, male and female God created them.”

On July 14, 45's first wife was found at the bottom of the stairs, unconscious and unresponsive in her Manhattan home.On July 20 her body was laid to rest at Donald Trump's Bedminster Golf Club in what some described as a “pauper's grave”, not far from the first hole. An employee found her and called 911 at 1:40 pm. The autopsy was conducted in less than 24 hours and her death was ruled “an accident”, the official cause of death being “blunt force trauma to her torso”. 1 She deserves to be remembered not only as Trump's first wife. She was a New York socialite, model and author but she was also an athlete who made the Czech skiing Olympics team. Ivana Trump was her own person: a mother, an author, fashion designer and New York socialite. In the first half we focus on Ivana's life before she met Donald Trump, as there are some tragic aspects like the death of the man she loved, George Staidl, a playwright and lyricist who died in a car crash, and her fourth husband, Italian actor Rossano Rubicondi who passed away at 49 with melanoma (a type of skin cancer). Ivana Maria Zelnickova was an educated woman with a master's degree in Physical Education and she was a fighter: she fled from communism in her native country (then Czechoslovakia, part of the USSR) and built a new life for herself, starting off in Canada and then immigrating here, to the United States. In the second half we discuss the details of her death and the timing. Ivana passed away on July 14. Donald Trump and his three adult children were going be deposed the next day, separately, as part of New York Attorney General Letitia James' investigation into the Trump Organization. The depositions were postponed. We also discuss her golf course burial in an austere grave and the attempt by Donal Trump to designate the area as a cemetery to get a tax break. A cemetery in New Jersey avoids property, income, and sales tax, the holy tax trinity. 2, 3 Donald Trump is also selling an “eternal membership” for the Bedminster National Golf Club: people play to play and when they pass, they can be buried close to Ivana if they pay extra. 4 Ivana also loved dogs. Funeral guests and others, in lieu of flowers, were asked to donate to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida and to “help save the lives of dogs that are in desperate need.” The charity was picked by her ex-husband and children, and this seems to be another of Trump's schemes where the money is not really going where they say it's going.
