In this brand new episode of Glitch In The Code, I have the true pleasure of interviewing Mark Devlin who is a UK based Club and Radio DJ with over 20 years experience in the music industry, Music Industry Journalist and author of two of the best books on the Music Industry "Musical Truth" Volumes 1 and 2. In this podcast, Mark lifts the lid on the shocking truth about the corporate music industry and why the 'Rags to Riches" dream is nothing but a facade to cover how the industry really operates and who really gets to be a popular artists.  The research goes back to the early 1900's and can be traced all through Rock N Roll, Psychedelic 60's music, Pop, Dance, Hiphop and the modern day auto tuned world. In the music industry it really is who you are related to, and not your talent. We discuss the terms 'Life Time Actor' and why certain artists are placed in certain positions of power to forward the corporate agenda's that power them. Mark details how the music industry and Hollywood go hand in hand and how the same 'false dream' traps so many young artists in, who have to compromise their values in return for fame and fortune.  The Music Industry is steeped in Occult Rituals, Child Sexual Abuse, addictions, Mind Control and CIA/FBI operations. This is not the stuff of fairy tales, in fact it is the truth behind the fairy tales your have been fed. Links between Sony Music, Dave Geffen, Oprah Winfrey and Harvey Weinstein show the links between music and movies. The Beatles and The Rolling Stones openly celebrated the Satanic beliefs of Alistair Crowley who's Church of Satan has Sammy Davis Jnr as one of its key followers.  The links go far and wide and no amount of cognitive dissonance can dance around the facts that there is something dark in the mix.  As hard as this may be to take on board, to be a star in the music industry and Hollywood has very little to do with talent and a lot more to do with how far you are willing to go. Bob Dylan famously said "I made a deal a long time ago and I am keeping up my end of the bargain" when asked who the deal was with Bob replied "With the chief, with the man on this earth and those we cannot see". Myself and Mark both share a passion to tell young people that the life you see these celebrities pretend to have on stage, TV and screen is really the fake front to an often sinister and dangerous game and not one to aspire to. Artistic expression and creation has nothing to do with fame, you now have so many ways to promote and share your art that fame is not even a requirement but a debt that you will spend the rest of your life repaying.  The list of casualties go on 2PAC, Michael Jackson, Biggie Smalls, Whitney Houston, John Lennon, David Bowie, Elvis, Prince, Amy Winehouse and hundreds more. All gone too soon.  To find out more about Mark's incredible work follow the links below Marks Youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/markdevlintv Website  https://djmarkdevlin.blogspot.com/ Spreaker https://www.spreaker.com/user/markdevlin Sound of Freedom - Conscious Music  https://www.mixcloud.com/djmarkdevlin/ Marks Books  http://musicaltruthbook.blogspot.com/ Facebook https://www.facebook.com/djmarkdevlin To follow my work head over to Glitch In The Code Website for blogs, podcasts and documentaries with the latest in alternative research.  https://www.glitchinthecode.co.uk/
