The Power Hour is defined as an hour in which you drink 60 beer shots, one per minute. This is the perfect comparison to Rounding Down when you think about it; as typically Chid and sometimes the guests take 60 shots at Sigh throughout the course of a single 1 hour episode. Just past the half way mark in hour 7 of Chid & Sighs heroic 12 Hour Marathon they are joined by friends hosts of Good Listeners Pod (@goodlistenerpod): Randy (@randolorian_) formerly @PoopyBabyFart & Clay (@clayjwilliams) , TikTok star Theo Reddinger (@TheoReddinger), and Twitch Streamer friend Shake (@ShakeNBakey) All of our guests stuck to lighter beer and Sigh like a real amateur drank an IPA during our Rounding Down Power Hour. Lots of regional beer talk and Chid also asks everyone to identify their favorite 311 song, both Randy and Clay had to look up who 311 was making Chid & Sigh feel very old. While Chid eats his dinner Sigh goes on entirely too long about 311 when it's mentioned he's seen them over 100 times. This leads to a discussion of bucket list concerts for each of our guests. Scott Sweeney (@skipseasoned) drops into the power hour a little late and his presence was a wonderful surprise for everyone! And much much more! Frigus is a snowshoe race put on by The Endurance Society, a Northeast based event company run by Andy Weinberg. Many OCR enthusiasts from back in the day know the importance of Andy but nowadays he is still a solid race director. Speaking of OCR enthusiasts, I was able to have Scott Sweeney call in to talk about his experience at Frigus. Scott is frequently a volunteer coordinator for races like FIT Challenge and Bonefrog. Whether he is participating or playing a crucial role in the event, he is always a welcome sight. Be sure to thank him for the work he does as an unsung hero. Races can't happen without volunteers, and the volunteer coordinator is vital in getting them together to keep races running smoothly. 0:00 - 2:11 - Intro 2:11 - 3:52 - Quick News 3:52 - 4:19 - Content Preface 4:19 - 20:42 - Scott Sweeney Interview 20:42 - End - Outro ____ News Stories: Canadian Spartan Schedule Savage Point Series John Albon's AlbonApp OCR Running Clinic with Coach Diaz at Underdog Surprise Secret Link Leg Day Secret Link ____ Related Episodes: 60. In this episode I interview Scott Sweeney with Sweeney Brass in Raleigh, NC. Scott is quite the craftsman when it comes to taking care of your brass instruments. A lot of times the instrument you bring to the shop will come out just as good, if not better, as when it was brand new. Listen for some great tips on how to better care for your trombone and some silly stories I tell of personally learning how to better care for my own instrument. Mr. Sweeney also has patented modifications he offers to various brass instruments putting his own personal artistic stamp that looks absolutely beautiful.

We open with a little Better Call Saul talk. Finding $20 on the ground. What is tofu? Sniper & Driver, professional litterers. Dumb rappers with the “Lil” moniker. Calling into work. The false connecting of people in the Me Too movement. The objectively ugly Kanye shoes. The uncomfortability of using dirty graphic words sometime. Mascots. Nibbies. The Home Improvement cast. Downloading anything on a 56k modem. We comb over the uncomfortably disturbing Verne Troyer sex tape. We touch on the Sopranos. Brian brought back Grease and also yo-yos. Enjoy... Scotty Day-Saver comes in hot to do what he does best. The impossible silliness of yet another Terminator leads us into movie talk. Unwanted advances. Space will melt your mind. 3 demons get loose in the world. MoviePass is worthless. Celebrities are mostly boring. The frustration of exclusivity. Grimes. Having a respect for money and not throwing it into the ocean. M. Loaf Shyamalan and the talk. Most beer tastes bad. Enjoy us chewing the fat... Chappaquiddick is remarkable how we begin the show. Theories. We grouse about the abomination that is the “May the 4th” stuff. We go over an AWFUL Colbert Show Star Wars parody song. The boring and predicable state of the late night shows these days. Scotty Boy teases a forthcoming Bean Set Crime Drama installment. Schilling's downfall. We go over a GREAT Ruffalo clip in which he entirely blows the ending to a movie that he isn't even promoting. MoviePass. Scott tells a fantastic story about being in the company of a drunk, loud, inconsiderate gal at a comedy show. Brien's stowaway GP. We laugh at USA's programming. We continue to disseminate and debate the Duncan identity saga, if Duncan isn't a real person, Karen is still our prime suspect. It's my jumbo jet baby... At long last Scotty Boy makes his triumphant return. We muse about the identity of Duncan. An Entourage 2. An interesting My 600-Lb Life factoid. We talk about movies and the lack of quality and prominence for features. The bubble that is going to burst in the form of Netflix. Robots. A loud woman saves the Strangers: Prey At Night. Nonsense horror movie reactions. Brittany's embarrassing interaction with Bill Burr. We have a cackle-fest at diarrhea and extrapolate on the subject at length. Tarot card readings and psychics. The Sopranos. The house search continues. We had a lot of fun on this one and enjoyed having Scotty back, hope you enjoy too...
