Rhonda and I continue the conversation about the abuse and lack of love in her childhood. She overcame the inner vows and woundings of her heart to be a powerful advocate. Doug and I go from discussing the cultural trend of avoiding fear to understanding our identity in grace. They are two parallel tracks with vastly different trains on them. We're not saying the church age is bad – in fact many amazing people are called to finish it well. Be aware of your own and others'. Ask the Lord if there are filters that need to be removed around interpretation of what you hear or see.Find common language to help church agers cross the bridge into the Kingdom age. The bible says money will chase you down.Know when to sever a relationship. Sometimes love looks like walking away from somebody.Take responsibility for your own personal integrity. When people are feeling the pull to invest in a long-term program, they often get scared… or procrastinate… and they find excuses not to join. The concept of surrender is receiving a lot of attention in spiritual circles these days, but what does it actually mean?
