Duncan and I check out the first ever monthly PPV battle between TNA and WWE. We see WWE working towards making two new stars, the heaviest breathing promo of all time and a women's blood bath. TNA hits the gauntlet, pulls out the ladder and has an election. Some quality wrestling along the way too. Have fun.
Today, I wrap up my months long look back into the early 1990s, a time when the pro wrestling business was in its worst state during my lifetime. Thanksgiving 1992 gave us two interesting shows to discuss. First, WWF Survivor Series 1992 was a very mixed bag with a great main event and a lot of not-so-great stuff, and Smoky Mountain Wrestling had its biggest show to that date during the worst era of business. Join me today as I discuss both these 1992 shows!

The boys talk about when Big Daddy Cool Diesel turned on the fans after Bret Hart regained the WWF Championship at the 1995 Survivor Series!!! The boys will analyze how this turned out and showed how Vince might have had to admit that what worked in the 80s , in hindsight, wouldn't work in the 90s!!! Detroit Sports Podcast -- DocNJock Wrestling Podcast This episode -- Recapping 2025 Survivor Series, John Cena now officially has his final opponent! Plus: AEW is telling an interesting story with Jon Moxley.
This week on Kliq This, Kevin Nash and Sean Oliver settle into a wild mix of stories, opinions, and observations that only these two can deliver. The episode opens with a look at the shifting landscape of TV and wrestling distribution, which sends the conversation down a path that blends media changes with Kevin's dry, cutting perspective on how the business is adapting. It sets a tone that everything is on the table today. As the show gets moving, Kevin drifts into a run of personal stories that are funny, sharp, and sometimes unbelievable. A CPAP repair visit turns into a reflection on age. A routine oil change becomes a miniature saga about wiper blades and tire pressure. Long drives in the snow transform into beer math, cops in the rearview, and Kevin explaining how 18 beers somehow equals a quarter of the way to intoxicated. These stories flow fast, and they go places only Kevin can take them. From there, the conversation shifts into the world of wrestling. Kevin breaks down the physical reality of entrances, ring conditioning, performance rituals, and the small details most fans never get to hear. The talk deepens as they move to the mystery man from Survivor Series and the current discourse around wrestlers blowing up during matches. Kevin offers perspective that can only come from decades inside the ring and backstage. The episode also features a run of stories about legends like Harley Race and Andre, memories from the road, and reflections on working styles across generations. There are surprising detours involving stem cell treatments, Mad Men production errors, the structure of episodic wrestling, and what happens when you find yourself backstage with wrestlers who still believe in ritual and rhythm. Every few minutes brings something new that you did not see coming. By the end, the show swings from humor to industry insight to cultural commentary with a pace that feels effortless. Kevin and Sean move between TNA announcements, JCW talk, questions about who belongs under a hooded mask, and even a stark discussion about class and race in America. It is a heavy, hilarious, surprising, and wide ranging conversation that captures exactly why Kliq This remains one of the most unpredictable shows in wrestling media. Solomonster reviews WWE Raw after Survivor Series as Triple H promised us an EPIC SHOW. We didn't get an epic show, but what we got was largely good stuff with Jey Uso and LA Knight fighting for the right to lose to Gunther in the finals of "The Last Time Is Now" tournament, while Gunther and Solo Sikoa had a MUCH better match than most people expected. Plus, Bron Breakker has a date for his World championship match with CM Punk and just cut his best promo yet, and Liv Morgan has already made it clear who the REAL leader of the Judgment Day is.***Follow Solomonster on X (formerly Twitter) for news and opinion:http://x.com/solomonsterSubscribe to the Solomonster Sounds Off on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/user/TheSolomonster?sub_confirmation=1Become a Solomonster Sounds Off Channel Member:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9jcg7mk93fGNqWPMfl_Aig/join

On this episode of The Nikki & Brie Show Nikki flies solo for a heartfelt, hilarious, and deeply inspiring conversation with her longtime friend and fellow WWE powerhouse, Bayley! From Grand Slam Champion to locker room mentor, Bayley opens up about the journey that's shaped her—inside and outside of the ring. She talks growing up as a wrestling fan, finding her passion, and the defining moment that made her believe she could become a WWE Superstar. The two talk about evolution—both personal and professional. Bayley shares how the “hugger” years shaped her early identity, how confidence came later, and how her current role is about lifting others. She gets candid about what's next: her first all-women's wrestling seminar, plans for coaching, and why she's passionate about bridging the gap between the indie scene and WWE. Oh—and yes, there are stories of cats, chaotic road trips, and some unforgettable wrestling memories.Nikki and Bayley play a hilarious round of “UnBaileyvable”, a rapid-fire game where Bayley reveals her celebrity crush and why Nick Miller from New Girl might be her soulmate. The episode closes with a powerful Inspiration Affirmation inspired by The Four Agreements and a reminder that—especially in this business—“don't take anything personally” might just be the best advice of all.
