Notes: What does it take to allow you to fall to rest, deeply & completely? Rest is such a necessary component of healing, and sometimes can be tricky to come by -- unless I'm the only one awake at 2 in the morning sometimes, with my head spinning fruitless circles? Feeling completely safe -- completely loved -- is one of the things that lets me rest, slows the adrenalin responses, and lets my body and mind heal. This song does that for me... whew!!! The composer, Elizabeth Norton, points out: "Please note that there is no "you" verse. This is because Rev. Dr. Parker was very clear that this is a widening circle of Love and compassion that embraces all." We are each at the center of this song. Visit abreathofsong.com for lyrics, more of Patty's artwork, and a way to nominate songs or songwriters for the podcast. Join the A Breath of Song mailing list to receive a heads up as a new episode is released, plus a large version of the artwork, brief thoughts from my slightly peculiar brain... and occasional extras when they seem vitally important! No junk -- I will never sell your address. I read out all your names into my living room when I send new mailings... I appreciate the connection to you who are listening and singing these songs with me. Exchange energy with A Breath of Song with dollars at the Gratitude Jar (whoo-hoo!!!!), or by making comments, leaving reviews, suggesting songs or songwriters (including yourself) ..... your participation matters! Songwriter Info: A life-long church musician, Elizabeth (Beth) Norton has served First Parish in Concord, Massachusetts as Director of Music Ministry since 1994, leading a dynamic adult choir and guiding a vital and varied music ministry for singers and instrumentalists of all ages and stages. She has led UU singers on concert pilgrimages to Eastern Europe, building musical bridges with Unitarian churches in Transylvania (Romania), Hungary and the Czech Republic. Beth received her bachelor's degree with a major in music from Smith College and a master's degree in choral conducting from Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford. As a composer, she has written several songs, chants and choral anthems that are currently available by contacting EHNComposer@gmail.com. Beth says she had the great wisdom to marry into the Norton family in 1986. Her husband, Peter, is Tom Norton's brother. Thus, she has the great good fortune (again, her own words!) to claim Patricia Norton as her sister-in-law and friend! Beth and Peter have two adult sons, who live in southern Vermont and near Boston Massachusetts. Beth and her family share a love of music, hiking, skiing, and birding. She usually has a knitting project on hand. When spiritual teachings collide with scientific knowledge and ancient writings, that is what you’d call a breakthrough. Richard Rudd from the United Kingdom is no stranger to such a wonderful coming together, as he is the soul behind the Gene Keys, a wisdom-infused synthesis that helps people from every corner of the globe know more about themselves and the world. His encounter with Romania has a special seat reserved in his heart, since this is one of the places that have embraced the teachings of the Gene Keys so early on and so eagerly. Fast forward to the present day, Richard’s interactions with Romanians have been a cauldron of continuous growth and transformation for both parties. Find out more about how the people and the culture touched Richard, what he observed in the Romanian people and what are his hopes for this special place in episode 15 of the Wo/anderers podcast.
Alta Ifland was born in Transylvania (Romania), took part in the overthrow of Romania's communist dictatorship, and experienced two years of post-communism before emigrating to the United States in 1991. Along the way, we of course had to talk about Romania’s either most infamous or heroic figure depending on your point of view, count Dracula himself. #41. April 20, 2020. My Dutch friend Ivo Valkenburg joins me today from his home in Transylvania (Romania) to talk about his recent book Pure Life: A Plea for Love as Legal Tender. During this time of Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing economic challenges we all face, is there hope for a new financial future and money system based on love? Ivo has a passion for an economy based on well-being and a money system based on love.. Ivo is a champion for enabling an economy of well-being and happiness. He goes for essential innovation of classic thinking models and their practical application. In doing so, he looks beyond the material side of life. As the highest ideal, he considers that all living things on planet earth return to the original state of being. Liberated from all illusion and freedom. Restored in connection with himself and everything that is. From the source power of every being. As a gift from the original world. His great passion is LOVE. From there he contributes where possible to bringing the human aspect to life in work and economy to life. To this end he invites people, companies and organizations to the power of his, and the power of love, without judgment or expectations, practical to apply in all aspects of life. For this he facilitates people, individually, and in relation to others, both business and private, in the discovery process of who they really are. Plenty of time and space is created to work from rest and nature on the recovery and use of the human resource in daily life. I wrote the following forward to Ivo's book Pure Life "'Ivo Valkenburg brings the world an important antidote to a global pandemic of debt money enslavement and trauma. Thank goodness that he did not despair over his financial problems and leave this earth, but instead chose to stay with us with a renewed passion for LOVE and a reminder that we all can and must pursue a pure life. ' You can learn more about Ivo's work on the website Love Made Visible , where there are new examples every day of people and companies where love, passion, mission, profession, vocation and money come together in the beautiful initiatives in areas such as education, health and economy. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/mark-anielski/message
Naturally born and raised in Transylvania Romania with a lot of passion for music since I was a child in music school studying piano. Back in 2006 I decided to make my own music, and I bought a pair of Technics turntable and I start to learn how to become a dj. In the next year 2007 I moved to Jersey Channel Islands where I had the chance after few weeks to have my residency in one of the clubs there. Having some performances around Europe at few festivals( Sonar off, Monegros, Electric Castle,Reasons) I think to make people happy and giving them those goosebumps when you’re playing no matter is 2000 or 50 people in the venue is the best feeling like a dj. Last year I decided to start producing my own sound and tracks, my EP Ecouri Paralele comes out in August. In the last year I established my headquarter in London and now I got my own label Unknown Tales based here. From very hypnotic and trippy vibes to some deeply groovy sounds spiced with techno minimal house and some microhouse fills": this is how you can categories my music.
