We have a way over due discussion with Benny, the creator of TAP/TRAC/PIPE which is the first protocol stack on Bitcoin developed to bring programmability to the Bitcoin space. We discuss Benny's journey from a lone developer during the early days of Ordinals to now having spent the last year and a half building one of the most ecosystems on top of Ordinals. From supporting DeFi on Bitcoin L1 to making the TAP protocol suitable for cross-chain application. Benny then gives us his take on the DMT ecosystem and how it introduces many new fundamental value adds to Bitcoin, which aligns with his development approach of preserving the spirit of Bitcoin in everything he creates. We introduce the idea of $NAT as a miner directed distributed token which will introduce a new DMT ecosystem distribution method that enables token deployments to be directly distributed to winners of the Bitcoin subsidy. This eliminates the issue of bot controlled minting of newly produced DMT assets and instead supports the security of the Bitcoin network by introducing the first additional subsidy reward for miners in the network. We feel this will align DMT more directly with Bitcoin considering the assets being produced non-arbitrarily from Bitcoin's data substrate layer rely on preserving Bitcoin's security and immutability. We then discuss Benny's overall thesis on the direction of the Bitcoin ecosystem and web3 as a whole. Arriving to a similar conclusion as ours that envisions the metaverse as the ultimate end game for all technology primitives native to web3 to intersect and apply. Also speaking on PIPE initiatives to bring a more democratized approach to AI. Topics: First up, discussion with Benny's journey from a lone developer to now having spent the last year and a half building one of the most ecosystems on top of Ordinals. Next, Benny gives his take on the DMT ecosystem and how it introduces many new fundamental value adds to Bitcoin and Finally, discuss Benny's overall thesis on the direction of the Bitcoin ecosystem and web3 as a whole Please like and subscribe on your favorite podcasting app! Welcome to a Leader Fluent Podcast Series based on my book, Insanely Practical Leadership: 12 No-Nonsense Keys to Master the Art of Leading Yourself and Others. For the next few podcast episodes, I'll be sharing teaching from the Masterclass for the book. It's a great way to get a taste of what's in the book, and the insanely practical skills you'll develop. You can learn more about Insanely Practical Leadership and the bonus content that goes with the book HERE. Personal and professional growth help you become the person, and the leader, God intended for you to become. As a leader, you are responsible to own your growth. You can't delegate it or negotiate it. You can't relegate it or vacate it. In fact, authors Ken Blanchard and Mark Miller said it like this: “Growth for leaders is the treasure that funds the future journey. Stop finding the treasure along the way and the journey ends.” As a leader, you have a dream burning in your gut. But between you and your dream is a gap—a growth gap. And the only way to close that gap is to fund the journey toward your dream with the treasure of your growth. That happens when you get insanely practical about three keys: a growth mindset, a growth plan, and a growth team. 1. Adopt a Growth Mindset In the Gospel of Luke chapter 2 verse 52, it says, “Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” Notice, Jesus' growth was intentional and continual. He didn't think about growing—He grew. And He wasn't haphazard about growing—He grew mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Without an intentional and continual growth mindset, we'll view growth as nothing more than a one-time event. Events such as conferences and seminars are great at inspiring change, but the change doesn't actually happen at the event. A process of growth must follow the event which then produces long-term habits of transformation. Simply put, events inspire change, process creates change, and habits sustain change. And it all starts with a growth mindset. 2. Create a Growth Plan I've developed a growth planning model that I call “Growth TRAC”—T-R-A-C. A Growth TRAC is a specific, measurable, and accountable plan for personal and professional growth. Each letter in the word “TRAC” stands for a word, and each word is accompanied by a question to help you create your own Growth TRAC. Let's unpack it. The letter “T” in “TRAC” stands for Target, and the question is, “What are My Growth Goals?” Your growth goal is the target you're aiming to hit. The letter “R” stands for Roadmap, and the question is, “How Do I Plan to Grow?” Your roadmap to reach your target is typically made up of things like training, resources, coaching, and experiences. The letter “A” stands for Accountability, and the question is, “Who Will Hold Me Accountable for My Growth?” None of us are good enough to reach our growth goals alone. That's why we need friends and mentors in our lives to ask us questions and hold us accountable to grow. And finally, the letter “C” stands for Check-Up. The question is, “When and How Will I Evaluate My Growth Progress?” When you conduct regular check-ups on your growth progress, you're able to make mid-course corrections to help you reach your growth goals. A Growth TRAC includes a Target, a Roadmap, Accountability, and Check-Ups. And when you follow your TRAC, it helps you intentionally grow. 3. Assemble a Growth Team Several years ago, Scott Wilson introduced me to the idea of a growth team. A growth team is a group of people who help you grow in the most important areas of your life. For example, if you're married, your spouse will help you grow in your relationship with your family. But your growth team doesn't end there. Prayer partners help us grow spiritually. Counselors help us grow emotionally. Coaches help us grow professionally, and financial advisors help us steward money wisely.

Mr. Homan makes a false claim that nine out of ten people who claim asylum never get relief. (“Chicago to be ground zero for mass deportations, Trump border czar tells Illinois Republicans,” Tina Sfondeles, December 9, 2024, Chicago Sun Times: https://chicago.suntimes.com/politics/donald-trump/2024/12/09/border-czar-tom-homan-donald-trump-chicago-pritzker-brandon-johnson-immigration?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=12102024%20Morning%20Edition&utm_content=12102024%20Morning%20Edition+CID_9e386f999f41eb3cc9b8411a2058045c&utm_source=cst_campaign_monitor&utm_term=Chicago%20will%20be%20ground%20zero%20for%20mass%20deportations%20Trump%20border%20czar%20tells%20Illinois%20Republicans&tpcc=cst_cm First, it is unclear what asylum seekers he is discussing. Many who claim asylum at the border have their cases heard in immigration courts around the nation. The TRAC report on “Asylum Decision” which is calculated through October 2024 demonstrates that at many courts, those asylum seekers with representation obtain relief. If the case remains at the border, the number obtaining relief even with representation falls. This, however, proves the point that those seeking mass deportation seek to deny the bona fide asylum seekers a fair chance to present their cases when pressure to move cases through the system are expedited at the border. Compare, for example, Chicago immigration courts with the court in El Paso: TRAC: “Asylum Decisions” (through October 2024): https://trac.syr.edu/phptools/immigration/asylum/ TRAC also reveals the ongoing difficulties to obtain representation: “Too Few Immigration Attorneys: Average Representation Rates Fall from 65% To 30%,” https://trac.syr.edu/reports/736/ The National Immigrant Justice Center's “Snapshot of ICE Detention: Inhumane Conditions and Alarming Expansion, IMMIGRATION DETENTION AT A GLANCE, September 2024” can be found at: https://immigrantjustice.org/sites/default/files/content-type/research-item/documents/2024-09/ICE-Detention-Snapshot_September-2024.pdf Information on the numbers of undocumented workers in the national workforce can be found at: April Rubin, “The industries that could be hardest hit by Trump's immigration crackdown,” https://www.axios.com/2024/11/19/undocumented-workers-immigration-deportation-trump For a discussion of Harold Washington and his Executive Order and the Chicago history of rebutting the Fugitive Slave Act requirements, see, Craig B. Episod în care revenim după o pauză de o vară și o toamnă și reluăm povestea imperiului cu primul împărat de-al nostru. Oarecum.

Ahsoka and the Martez sisters failed at smuggling spice, and are imprisoned on Oba Diah. They argue, someone calls Ahsoka a Jedi, and Ahsoka responds with 'so what if I were?': the sisters react in horror. See: the Martezes' parents were killed in a mishap during Ziro the Hutt's prison break, when the elder Martezes came up on the wrong side of Bariss Offee's solution to the trolley problem. The Jedi did helpfully explain that the Force would guide the new orphans, before bouncing. The Pykes attempt some kid-friendly torture on Trace, but she steals a gun and flees. Ahsoka secretly uses the force to open her cell, and the escape is on! A running gunfight ensues, with the Martez sisters shooting and Ahsoka slyly using Force powers to assist.Ahsoka and Rafa take a moment to discuss whether Trace is cut out for a life of crime. Trace and Rafa are re-captured while Ahsoka flees. Three Mandalorians, with familiar voices depending on which shows that aired before this that you've seen observe, and suggest that Ahsoka might be a Jedi.Ahsoka attempts to free Trace and Rafa, but they are caught and returned to the same cell they were in at the start of the episode.Back in their cell, Ahsoka wants to hold a retrospective, but Rafa wants to assign blame. Someone isn't abiding by Scrum values! (They're never going to get their PMP certification this way.) Ahsoka comes up with a better plan than Rafa's ‘play sick' scheme.Ahsoka starts lying to the Pyke leader, and Rafa is on the ball enough to run with the premise. Trace and Rafa are sent to get the spice by holding their non-existent family hostage. The Pyke high seneschal is also savvy enough to get that this is a scam, but doesn't have a choice because without the spice he's going to be in big trouble with his boss.Trace and Rafa leave in the Silver Angel, and are creeped on by Bo Katan's Mandalorian peeping squad. At a space Cracker Barrel Rafa explains the scheme to Trace by speaking slowly and using big words. Also some visual aids. A couple puppets. Rafa can't owe anyone anything so she's going to steal spice and save AhsokaAhsoka breaks out of prison, Rafa and Trace find a spice mining operation and Rafa has a hot hand with the fast talk skill. Ahsoka plants bombs all over the spice refining facility. Grand Pyke is getting his ass chewed out by a shadowy holo figure about the missing spice shipment. Hey, it's Maul! Ahsoka is ambushed and outs herself as a Jedi.Back with Trace and Rafa, Rafa finally throws a bad roll and the Trandoshan longshoreman manager calls her bluff. Aggressive negotiations ensue and Trace gets into a slap fight with nerdlingers; that 1D in strength isn't going to get the job done. Rafa apparently specialized in Gymkata and uses her skill on the uneven bars to dump the Trandoshan into a chasm. The sisters escape with the spice and show up in time to save Ahsoka. Not!The Grand Pyke dimes out Ahsoka; Rafa and Trace are stunned and hurt. Ahsoka and Trac and Rafa decide to pass the Bechdel Wallace test. Meanwhile Chekhov's thermal detonators explode and move us right into Act 3.A chase ensues and Trace decides to play the ballsiest game of chicken this side of Footloose. Our heroes escape and are followed by Bo Katan. Rafa says Ahsoka is what a Jedi should be. Bo shows up to ask for help in dealing with Maul, but Ahsoka is fearful it will lead her back to the Jedi. Have you ever formed a bad first impression? Way back when I formed a hasty impression of this language called TRAC. It's been called a proto-esoteric language, and for good reason. It's outlandish, complex, and confounding. But, after the urging of some listeners, I've decided to give TRAC a second look. What I've found is, perhaps, more confusing than I ever imagined. This episode we are looking at the wild history of TRAC, how it actually pioneered some good ideas, and why it feels so alien. The DeCavalcante Crime Family of New Jersey were the inspiration for HBO's acclaimed Sopranos drama series. In this episode, I speak with one of their members: Aidan Gabor. He is a mafia henchman, turned DOJ informant and cop. Gabor shares his origin story from his parents escape from Soviet occupied Budapest to his childhood descent into crime and his eventual redemption based on the Baha'i faith. Aiden Gabor is also the author of and autobiographical book linked below.
