Spoiler Alert: She did the damn thing the following day becoming the 4th American Female Teen to win a major, 3rd at the US Open, and 1st since Serena Williams did it in the early 2000's. We discussed some examples and non-examples of the type of leadership we expect from her for the good people of Platte County. Unfortunately we also discussed 16 year old Ralph Yarl from a neighboring county in our community who was shot in the head for accidentally ringing the wrong doorbell. In a similar story, cheerleader Payton Washington was shot in the Houston area for accidentally getting in the wrong car. Twenty year old Kaylin Gillis was shot and killed for pulling into the wrong driveway. An inmate was eaten to death by bed bugs.
