Creating a DJ set is a crucial part of DJing. It's how you showcase your skills and curate a musical journey for your audience. Here are some tips on how to create a DJ set:Know your audience: Before you start creating your set, consider your audience and the type of event you are DJing. What type of music do they like? What is the mood or theme of the event?Choose your tracks: Once you have a good understanding of your audience, choose your tracks. Look for tracks that fit with the vibe of the event and that will keep your audience engaged.Plan your transitions: Planning your transitions between tracks is key to creating a seamless DJ set. Think about how you want to transition between tracks and practice your mixes ahead of time.Consider your energy levels: Your DJ set should have ebbs and flows in energy levels. Consider when to build up the energy and when to bring it down. Use tracks with different tempos, intensities, and styles to create a dynamic set.Tell a story: Your DJ set should tell a story or take your audience on a journey. Use your tracks and transitions to create a narrative or build a mood.Practice: Practice your set ahead of time to make sure everything flows smoothly. This will also give you the opportunity to make any changes or adjustments before the event.Be prepared: Bring backup tracks and equipment, and have a plan in case of technical difficulties.Remember, creating a DJ set is a creative process, and there is no one "right" way to do it. Use these tips as a starting point, and let your creativity and musical intuition guide you. With practice and experience, you'll be able to create unforgettable DJ sets that will keep your audience dancing all night long.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/we-create-the-vibes-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
The DJ and the Wedding Ceremony!! Your DJ should have a unique system that's meant just for the ceremony. Consisting of a pair of speakers and a pair of wireless microphones (for the officiant and a reader or two). A properly positioned Ceremony DJ set-up will allow the DJ to be able to see, which directly affects the timing of music, the processional and recessional... Microphones and music should be tested well in advance of the ceremony start time too!!

Who's Your DJ? It's so easy to get caught up in everyday life that we can forget there is a spiritual war happening all around us. In 1 John 4:1-6, John walks us through what believers need to know about spirits. The reality is that you are either walking by the Spirit of Truth or the spirit of deception. Like background music, our spiritual influences are sometimes subtle, but they still impact us. Listen in as Pastor Brandon Hays teaches on this important, but often neglected, aspect of the Christian life. This sermon was preached on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

First of all, I LOVE your show. I found the show a couple weeks ago and I listen to the show obsessively. My name is Sarah and I’m a bride from Alabama that is struggling to find the money for a Day-of coordinator. I know you guys always strongly recommend getting a planner and delegating! However, I am a very organized person and pretty Type A, so I feel that I can be my own coordinator with some delegation here and there if I am properly prepared! I was just wondering if you could possibly pass on any advice to me either as a response to this email or on the show on how to coordinate my own wedding. It would be so helpful if I had a checklist of things to get together before the rehearsal and day of the wedding, what to do at the rehearsal, and any loose ends I may need to tie up on the day of. ***Timelines are important for both the planning stages, the week of and day of We have many shows about timelines here is a good one. Episode # 4-Want Less Stress, Here is a Wedding Planning Timeline Episode #6 - What you need to know for a Stressless Wedding Day Your DJ and Photographer can help you on the day of timeline Episode # 38-Photography Timelines and Trends Episode # 21-DJ's and How to Hire them for Your Wedding Episode #136 Wedding Day Delegating Planners and organizer books will help with example and walk you through the steps Shannon's advice-delegate a contact person on the day of to help with vendor questions, we always have questions and would prefer not to bother the wedding couple on their day. I am hoping and praying you guys can help me figure out what to do. I am getting kind of stressed, but listening to your advice on everything always makes me feel so much better!
