Our guest this week is Morgan Browne, a huge part of the London Welsh family. He joined the Little Wizards, aged 5 with the rest of his family and has been a player ever since. Morgan loved his minis and youth rugby at the club, especially the tours he went on in Wales or to Europe. He played for Hampton School and was captain in his final year where he led the team out at Twickenham and played against a certain Manu Tuilagi. He attended Cardiff Uni and joined the rugby club where he captained the Freshers in the Varsity. Rugby was taken very seriously at Cardiff, and he played mostly in the 1's and 2's; but also found other passions and was quite keen on his drama. Post uni he came to London and played a bit for some local clubs, until Lloyd Davies called him and the rest is history. He played 3-4 years for the Druids before reset and then had about 19 matches with the club when Cai and Sonny were the coaching team. Morgan had to retire due to concussion and he explains quite clearly how the club sat him down and explained the situation to him and put him first. An engaging, honest and a lovely human, who will continue to help this club in the future. Enjoy

Today's guest is content creator and copywriter Tom Pinks, who is The number of teenagers saying they don't drink alcohol is 39%.Tom talks about how he was bullied at secondary school before eventually finding a way to take control and stand up for himself. He was also dealing with his mum's diagnosis of cancer and says that it could have been quite a dark time had it not been for the resilience that kicked in as he learned to take care of his emotions. He also talks about feeling shy when he started university - have a listen to Tom's top tip for making friends in a new environment! Tom says this is when he started using alcohol to hide his shyness and pretend to be more extroverted than he was. Whilst he says it didn't feel like a problem in the moment, he struggled to keep up with the drinking of Freshers and eventually realised it was too much.Tom told me how he eventually cut down on drinking and became isolated as he distanced himself from friends who were drinkers. He was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and had to take time out to address it. He tells us how difficult that experience was, and what help is available now to young people going through similar, from free counselling to support of communities online. Tom's experience of being sober since then is fascinating to listen to - from being fully alive at the music gigs he loved, to the experience of dating without alcohol.Who is Tom Pinks? Tom is a mental health professional, writer and podcaster for The Mix, the UK's leading digital support service for under 25's. A former teacher, Tom now spends his time ensuring as many teens have the resources they need to thrive in life. Brad's decided to go to his Freshers' Ball and Jazzer and Alistair encourage him to make friends at Uni. Brad has told Alistair about Jazzer's giant sunflower and Alistair teases Jazzer that his precious bloom may get damaged or eaten before the Flower & Produce Show. They discuss George - they're all baffled by what happened and Jazzer warns Brad to steer clear of him. Jazzer and Brad help Alistair redecorate Greenacres for him and Denise. With Jim away they feel they have free rein. But as they go to move some significant items, Robert turns up – in the nick of time, and with a list from Jim of things not to be moved. This ruins the painted ‘feature wall' plan. But as Robert is distracted, going to deal with some litterers, Alistair locks the door behind him and puts into action their intended plan for him and Denise – regardless of Jim's instructions. Fallon is furious with Harrison for confronting George, risking his job, their future and her career dreams by losing his temper and not stopping to think. They meet Alice, and Harrison is full of apologies - for everything - including seeing red with George yesterday. Harrison admits he lost control, and Fallon fears he now wants to quit the Police. Fallon and Alice discuss how he and Chris are all over the place right now. Fallon confides that she wants the old Harrison back, and Alice admits how much she regrets losing Chris. They agree that they need to be patient, and they will get there – together.

Send us a Text Message.Down the pecking order at the start of the season, Aaron Power was called into the Carlow senior football panel before the Tailteann Cup game against Wicklow. He was a little nervous but was made feel at home by the players and the management team. He didn't get any game time but he loved the experience. The O'Hanrahan net minder played with the Carlow under 20 footballers this year and is hopeful he can hold on to the position for next year when the fight for places will be intense. He featured with the Freshers footballers in SETU Carlow in the league and championship this year but there was disappointment for him when they lost the final narrowly to Mary Immaculate from Limerick.
It has been an exciting week for Crouchy and Chris who both met one of their childhood crushes Joan Collins and were so captivated they found themselves in a bidding war trying to secure an afternoon dinner date…..From one Dynasty to another, it is back to pod business as usual, and on today's episode, Steve Paidwell has been good enough to bring down a few of his former professional contracts from his former glory days. We look at some of the weird clauses teams put in to prevent players injuring themselves or anyone else, questionable bonus structures for ‘doing your job' and what happens when the club tries to take over your wardrobe. And it isn't just the contract clauses that leave the lads in disbelief this week….we make a discovery that Steve Drawswell has quite the penchant for art, let us know your thoughts on his efforts in the comments below! 00:00 Intro07:58 Freshers' Week20:54 The Business End30:28 Transfer Requests41:51 Crazy Clauses55:07 Steve Drawswell01:01:07 On Another PlanetSubscribe to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFULBvlxNWW8cWsrV6fGrcwFollow our Clips page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLNBLB3xr3LyiyAkhZEtiAA For more Peter Crouch: Twitter - https://twitter.com/petercrouch Therapy Crouch - https://www.youtube.com/@thetherapycrouch For more Chris Stark Twitter - https://twitter.com/Chris_StarkInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/chrisstark/For more Steve Sidwell Twitter - https://twitter.com/sjsidwell Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stevesidwell14 #PeterCrouch #ThatPeterCrouchPodcast Hosted on Acast. This sermon, delivered by our Father and founder Apostle Kingsley Ajei-Godson, expands on the need for Children of God in this perverse day and age to show forth Christ wherever they go, and provides some powerful pointers on how to show forth the glory of Christ.

Halls centres around eight, first-year, university students, from different backgrounds and upbringings, who are brought together when they're all allocated the same flat in Halls of Residence, Flat 15B.The show follows the characters over the course of the academic year, exploring the relationships they form, as they learn to live together whilst experiencing student life. Freshers week, exam stress, the cost of student living, and romance, are all key themes in this coming-of age-story. Laugh, and cry, as the flatmates find their feet in a world where their decisions are now entirely their own.The upbeat, contemporary, pop-rock soundtrack mirrors the sense of nostalgia that the show evokes.Directed by Andy Fickman (Heathers), and following four well received, sold-out workshop readings last May, Halls is now taking its next step. The show will have a development production at The Turbine Theatre from 7th - 30th July. The Turbine Theatre is an idyllic space for new work to tried out, allowing the Halls creative team to continue to work on the material and be fine-tuning it during its run. All production elements (sound / lighting / set / costume etc ) will be there to give audiences an idea of what the show will be in a more realised scenario, as opposed to it feeling ‘finished'. Most importantly, the venue has stressed that the way in which audiences engage with the show will dictate how it develops, so do come along and be a crucial part of this exciting journey as Halls evolves.
