As I reflect on this week, I have noticed that while it felt productive and potentially like I am “catching up” and getting in a groove with my kids at home for the summer. I am also feeling a bit overwhelmed as I look at the Completely FULL next 10 weeks and I wonder… why?

A grandmother of 31 with lots of events to attend and hopefully soon will have great-grandchildren. I have lots of reasons to live for, including a 50th wedding anniversary soon. However, I inherited polycystic kidney disease from my father's side. I have been on dialysis for 2 years waiting for a live donor. My family has been tested and for one reason or another has not qualified. Two of my children have inherited this disease and I know of one granddaughter that has it too. I am on peritoneal dialysis which is through a tube in my abdomen. But now I have developed an umbilical hernia which complicates things. A live donor will be the best thing to be able to fix it all. Sooo I am asking anyone who might like to help me to go to uofulivingdonor.org and fill out their form and if they think you might be able to help they will contact you to get tested and see what happens. But today, my daughter was armorless. What happened to her armor, we just did the thing... the routine, where was her armor? Sometimes our children need a little more help. It's time to change things up a bit. If anything that is what these last few weeks have taught me, that it is time to change things up a bit in order to transform and upgrade my life. In order to prepare for my journey and Armor Up! "In order for things to change, I must change," Kirk Duncan. Once a month we get on here and Armor Up, together! However, it hasn't been enough for me. I want to share more with all of you about my journey in strengthening my armor and getting clear on my path & purpose. One of the ways I strengthen my armor is by utilizing the pure gifts Mother Earth has to offer through essential oils. I looked into my children's eyes and saw complete terror. I just remember saying over and over, "We are okay, we are okay, we are going to be okay," not only did I find myself repeating this over and over but every ounce of myself felt that was true! When caught in a storm, focus on the eye of the storm and remember... Psalms 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God;" and Armor Up every day, every day, every day! Ephesians 6:11

"God Shed His Grace On Me" What does that mean to me? God shed his grace, and blood for me, no matter my failures, imperfections, and impurities God shed his grace on me. I was a little emotional this morning during the call as I reflected on yesterday's Sabbath services. The spiritual power was strongly felt as my community and family sang "America the Beautiful", then stood to bear their testimonies of Christ, and concluded boldly with "The Star-Spangled Banner". My heart swelled with the feelings of strength and power still left in those words and in our community, country, and families! If there is any doubt in our country and the power left in it, visit a small country family farming community on the 4th of July. That community, those families will re-instill that faith in your soul. I know they did that for me. I reflected on the previous 4th of July celebrations as a young mom, worried about my sleeping babies, scared pups, or the traumatized veterans during the loud firework celebrations that can sometimes last for weeks. I felt overwhelmingly blessed that it is simply a celebration and not an actual war. Every night I get to feel safe in my home and bed because of the Christlike heroes before me that gave their life so that I could be free. Heroes like my husband, my father, and my grandfathers. Men that gave their life, and the heroic women who fought alongside them or stayed behind protecting our future, our children, our communities, and our families. I am grateful for this country! I am grateful for the war in Heaven that gave me this opportunity to come to Earth free to choose, and the war here on Earth that gave me another opportunity here in America of freedom. Freedom to be me, to learn, to grow, to experience along this journey of life. America, The Beautiful, God shed His grace on thee, By Dawn's early Light, When free men shall stand, Between their loved homes, And the war's desolation! Blest with vict'ry and peace, May the heav'n rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! This morning I awoke to no heat! My furnace had gone out throughout the night, but that was not all that was cold. My heart was hardening and growing cold about as quickly as my home... Day 3 of 2022. Wow! I can already tell that this year is going to be one of the most influential and powerful years, yet! You might ask, how I would know this. I know this because before midnight even hit on January 1st, 2022, I felt the fiery darts of the adversary flying into 2022. As if in a hurry to take me out at the start. Did you feel it? This year is a powerful year of upgrading and letting God prevail. The adversary is aware of our potential transformation this year, but we can and will win, with our Armor Up, Aligned, and Fortified!!! I will admit I felt weakened by these darts, even on the verge of giving up. It has felt as if I have spent 3 days in spiritual Hell. I began to ask, "Is this what is to become of 2022? Have I no chance?" The anxieties, fears, feelings of past hurts, doubts, and betrayals were all coming to the surface, and I began to feel broken, alone, and weak. Everything felt so heavy as if it was all crashing down, and all while hope of a new year should be shining... but I was lost in the darkness of the influence of the adversary. My heart was drawing cold, and I wasn't sure what to make of it. How would I ever win with 2022, now? I might as well throw in the towel... But... could I blame it all on the adversary? Or did I ignite some of these darts with my own self-sabotage? Which part of my armor was weakened enough to let his poison seep in? Let's re-evaluate... Sugar intake increased ❌ Water intake decreased ❌ Scripture study & prayer at a minimum ❌ Doubt in and of my purpose ❌ Essential Oil usage decreased ❌ Forgiveness of Self & Others paused or even reversed ❌ Hatred, sad to admit, entered my soul and my heart began to draw cold ❌ I was on a downward spiral... and my Armor was beginning to feel... Heavy! Then something happened... Silently, I asked... what is one simple thing I could do to begin to feel strong in my armor again? This is what came to me... Listen to your story. Keeping your Armor strong takes a 1. foundation in Christ, 2. commitment & 3. preparation so "... that when the devil shall send his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall" Helaman 5:12. Question: How can I prepare? Have your story pre-recorded and ready to go so that you can simply put in headphones, push play, and listen on repeat. ✅ Surrounded yourself with other strong people & mentors. Family and friends will pray for you and you pray for them. ✅ Have a good, sad movie on your watchlist, and have it ready for the moments when in need of a good cry. ✅ Have a good, positive music playlist ready to go! ✅ Have your favorite essential oil blends Quick, Easy, & Ready and Nearby. ✅ Always keep Fresh Vegetables in your fridge, and vitamins & water ready. ✅ A Habit made to easily Forgive Self and Others. ✅ Create a gratitude journal habit and keep it close by. You can easily create this as a list on your phone. ✅ Have a scheduled commitment to serve someone daily, weekly, or monthly to get you out of a funk quickly! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has chosen to Armor UP with me this last year. It was an amazing experience with each of you and I am so excited to level up this year and for some amazing things and surprises to come about all year long. I have some things on my mind and in store for this next year! This year will be the year I graduate with my Bachelor's Degree in Home and Family Studies and I will be really able to dive in even deeper with all of you Armoring Up and taking this to the next level on our path and purpose. I am going to teach you more great things I have learned along this journey and some of those involve learning your strengths, and anchoring those in, and fortifying your Armor! Did you know that 1 in 10 new brides suffer from postnuptial depression? That makes sense to me, after 16 years of marriage, the first year was for sure the hardest. However, I did find myself asking why? As I thought back to my postpartum depression times, I asked myself what were some of the hardest parts of being a new bride or a new mother. It would have to be the change, finding a "new normal," as they say. If nothing else, the times of COVID have really taught us a lot about getting to know a new normal. How do we stay on track and keep it together, or stay motivated in a time that is ever-changing from one day to the next? We must put on our armor and keep it secure. How often do we say, "thank you" to our family members? Finding gratitude in others helps us to love others and possibly understand the Atonement and our energy even more. Forgive, Close the doors of Pain, darkness, and hopelessness. Open the door that Christ is knocking upon and let the light in! One gratitude at a time. Miracles are waiting!

Create ease & flow by armoring up with the shield of faith for this and every battle. Maybe you don't know just yet why you are on the path you are on, but as you move forward with the shield of faith, your path will ignite with ease and flow as you release resistance to your purpose!!! Press forward in faith and protection from the Light of Christ. You have great work to do. Love you!

Have you ever wondered if you should hide your light to avoid shining out someone else? Let me ask you this, does Christ hide His light to help us feel better out of our shine? No! As He shines, we shine! Let your light shine, build and lighten the ones around you, and all glory be to God, you Father in Heaven. Matt. 5:14-16 Remind yourself, "As I shine, you shine, & we All shine!"  So Go on... BE A LIGHT IN THE DARK! 

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, an American educator, and religious leader asks in his 2012 CES talk, Israel, Israel, God is calling, asks, "Do we leave our religions at the door?" It got me thinking about the times that I have hung up my armor when I should have been holding on to it with all my might! The moments of despair, anger, grief, bitterness, and fear. I will now ask, "Did I just check my armor at the door?" When have you left your armor at the door? Will you pick it up and armor up, now? That is my goal, to always wear my armor with faith, strength, and courage! Will you try with me?

Throughout Christ's ministry, He went about serving and loving others with ease. He didn't complain once. It wasn't hard work, it was what He wanted to do each day. While growing up, my dad had a saying from John Clavin that he loved to repeat when we asked if he was tired. He would say, "No rest for the wicked, and the righteous don't need it." I never understood what this meant until I matured and found my own love to serve. Yet, even with that love, I still find myself weary from time to time. However, as we follow Christ's footsteps we can learn and strengthen our armor as we strive to be more like him. As we do this, we will naturally find ease and peace in our daily good works, passions, and purpose. -Malinda

We have this power in life to choose. Wow! Isn't it amazing? What will your choices be? How often will you utilize this power?

I am stronger with God's Army on both sides of the veil! I am grateful for God's Army, my family, God, my Savior, and the Holy Ghost. I am grateful for inspired actions, exact obedience and the miracles that come from that exact obedience.

Come and learn to ground in the light of Christ.

Sometimes I feel like I am running away from God's inspired action, do you? Sometimes it feels too hard, too scary, or maybe it doesn't align with what I feel like I want out of life. That is the yuck! Recently I released the yuck that was holding me back from God's plan for me. As I have done this, I have watched the miracles of peace and strength unfold. Today's call reminded me to keep going, and release the yuck! Align your crown and keep moving with your head held high! You have great work to do!

Laying down feelings of panic, shame, pride, and betrayal at the feet of Christ allowing your light to shine pure and bright. Enjoying peace and preparation along your path and purpose!

Align & clear my crown from weariness, doubt, and opposition. This will allow and encourage inspired action and a light, peaceful, change of heart. Be courageous, clear the panic, and keep going!

Happy Valentine's Day! Remember keeping your Temple (Body) clean means that No unclean thing should enter your temple. My next action step is to upgrade my line of standard in my diet to keep my mind, body, and soul clean and my armor strengthened and aligned. Lil Dosha, Warrior Princess

We all have been there where we are feeling fear, doubt, or discouraged from serving our purpose. Dark forces attempting to hold you back from the gift and light within you to serve. Armor up, have the courage, and break through that darkness with the light of Christ. You are God's Warrior!

Discerning and prioritizing my action steps with God brings real happiness in my life, and a smile directly to my face.

When Exhaustion from the battle sets in, that is when it is time to revitalize with the Light of Christ and Armor Up!!! To continue strong, right, and true in this battle we must put on and align our Armor of God, everyday!

Find your heart, polish your breastplate of righteousness! Hold the line with your sword of the spirit of the word of God, and your shield of faith!!! It's time to move forward strengthened in your true identity and love of self! To powerfully serve others you must love yourself, first! Polish your breastplate and get out there and let Christ's light shine through you! You are a vessel of the light of Christ.
