Knucks n' Pucks: Erik Bay and Evan Kenny bring you a podcast giving you their thoughts on sport and life, with inside information from a variety of interviews from the sports world
A monster week to wrap up leads to a monster podcast from the guys, right before they go on summer break! Erik laments the Cleveland Guardians breaking his streak of naming teams and Evan questions the Seattle Kraken goaltending choices. The guys dig into the expansion draft, wondering if the Kraken could've taken a few more big-name guys and what the move is now with all their cap space. Moving into the trade market, it's determined Stevie Y is a hypnotist, the Flyers have an elite top-4 D and will Chicago be able to take advantage of Seth Jones over the next decade? Oilers moves and the NHL Entry draft wrap up the podcast. We'll see you all when KNP returns Labour Day weekend! Enjoy the summer!
The Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to become as dominant as Erik is in KNP's mock drafts! After a break, the guys are back to break down the back-to-back Stanley Cup champs run, can they go for three, is this the end of Shea Weber and what does the future hold for the Montreal Canadiens? A flurry of offseason moves has the guys asking if the Oilers were fleeced for Duncan Keith, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter count for how much dead cap, and who will the Flames and Oilers lose to the Kraken. A lot of questions that will hopefully get some answers next week!
Just like the weather and the Tampa Bay Lightning, the guys are bringing the heat!! A Stanley Cup breakdown on what Tampa's done right, are the Montreal Canadiens done and are the guys adjusting their series picks kick off the pod. The guys continue with hockey talk, grading Andre Tourigny's hiring, did RNH get too much term and proclaim Patrick Maroon a surefire HOFer. Talk shifts to the diamond, where the guys agree with the fans (mostly) on starting ASG rosters and get back into fashion talk before going off the rails about the greatest NVP (not a typo) ever, Mitch Trubisky.
We have finally made it to the Stanley Cup Final and as everybody expected, the Montreal Canadiens are Western Conference champions. With the action and the weather heating up, the gives dive in on the latest expansion with another lock, Dave Hakstol, becoming the first coach in Seattle Kraken history. The guys then talk the Canadiens' and Tampa Bay Lightning's run to the Cup finals, keys to success and how good Montreal chances are at pulling off a fourth straight upset. Sty hydrated out there folks!
Welcome to the grand reopening! Alberta hit 70% vaccination and sports are coming back! The guys talk about the CFL's imminent return and how the rivalries are like nothing else. Talk then moves back to the ice and how Gerard Gallant is a perfect fit for New York, how Patrice Bergeron got hosed and can Carey Price win a Conn Smythe without even making the Cup final? The guys wrap up by picking their favourites for the AL and NL MVP awards at this point in the season. Catch you in the wild without masks soon!
As we all expected, the Montreal Canadiens are the last team standing in the North Division! The guys preview the Stanley Cup semis, lament their poor playoff picks (Evan 0-4!), talk Conn Smythe odds after two rounds and discuss the move of an NFL legend to Tennessee.

Fashion makes a return to the pod, as the guys break down the new Edmonton Football Team name (Elks with an S?!) and logo
It's been a great week to hate the Oilers, not so great if you're a fan as Erik and Evan discuss. The big question for the team: What was worse, their play or the Pittsburgh Pirates defense that allowed Javier Baez and RBI? The guys look ahead at all the second round matchups, including which is the best series, do the Winnipeg Jets have a chance to come out of the North and can the Islanders score? With Wayne Gretzky jumping from the sinking vessel that is the Oilers for TNT, the guys pick who they think could round out the panel.

The guys discuss the right temperature for a thunderstorm and post-vaccine arm pain before jumping in to the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. NHL awards picks are made, including a lengthy discussion for the Hart and also young World Championship rosters for all countries. The draft leads to some second-guessing, as the guys go through which teams have the best odds of winning Lord Stanley's mug in 2021.
Coming to you live from Alberta's 3rd wave lockdown, the guys steer towards less controversial topics, like Tom Wilson! It's a debate that has Twitter up in arms and both hosts believe the latest controversy is overblown.
