Landon Ferraro joins the show to break down why the Canucks should “sell high” now, what a Sherwood trade could signal, and whether Jonathan Lekkerimäki has taken a real step forward as the team's top prospect. The discussion shifts to deployment concerns, with Linus Karlsson's minutes, uneven ice time under Adam Foote, and the heavy load Quinn Hughes continues to carry. Drance questions whether players are getting lost in Foote's system as the power play and forward usage remain in flux. The show closes with Foote's own comments, Colorado's high-flying pace, and where Höglander could re-enter the lineup as a needed spark. Jamie and Thomas break down Adam Foote's candid frustration with Vancouver's centre depth and the growing sense of sadness, not anger, among Canucks fans. With wins now feeling like pleasant surprises, the guys examine how this team stacks up against other basement dwellers and whether this management group is capable of steering a true rebuild. They dig into the importance of setting a real direction, the shaky “young team” narrative, and what meaningful trade returns must look like. Plus: emotional postgame calls, Flames comparisons, and Foote's fiery practice audio. Jamie and Thomas get into the Canucks falling 4‑2 to Dallas, and while Foote called it their best game of the season, one good effort every 22 games won't cut it. Vancouver leaned heavily on its top forwards, with Pettersson, Garland, Boeser, and DeBrusk all logging over 20 minutes, while the bottom of the roster barely saw the ice. Next up is Calgary on Sunday—a near must‑win given the Flames' resurgence since late October and the Canucks' playoff odds dipping to 38%. Jim Foote, CEO and Founder of First Ascent Biomedical a pioneer in functional precision medicine (FPM) that aims to eliminate guesswork from cancer treatment. After losing his son to cancer, Jim left a career in cybersecurity to build a data-driven platform that combines AI, robotics and real-time tumour testing to help doctors choose the right therapy for each patient. In this episode, we explore how FPM differs from traditional genomics-only testing, why tumours can respond differently even with the same patient and how AI can support rather than replace clinicians in treatment decisions. Us animem a veure-la!. I, com no, també us animem a escoltar tot seguit als nostres experts cinèfils, els Jaume's, i els seus experts comentaris. Agafeu crispetes!!! Pleased to bring on Cheryl Foote, our founding agent from our Steamboat, Colorado market, on the Real Takk Pod. Born & raised in Minnesota, Cheryl attended Regis College in Denver, which brought her to Colorado. Cheryl moved to Steamboat Springs in 1996, and fast forward almost 30 years, Cheryl & her family call Steamboat their home. Cheryl has a wealth of knowledge in the steamboat market with hundreds of transactions completed from townhomes, single-family homes, land, condos, and high-end fractional ownership. For those of you who are aware of Steamboat Springs, the town got its name in the early 1800s from French trappers who heard a chugging sound, like a steamboat's engine, coming from a natural mineral spring. This “Steamboat Spring” stopped chugging after railroad construction in 1908, but the name stuck, and the town still boasts over 150 natural hot springs. The term “Champagne Powder” was coined in Steamboat to describe its light, fluffy snow, which has just 6% water content due to cold temperatures and low humidity. This trademarked snow type, popularized in the 1950s, makes Steamboat a top destination for skiers seeking smooth, powdery runs. Jennifer Foote: Embracing The Higher Power | The Hopeaholics PodcastJennifer Foote, a resilient survivor celebrating five years of sobriety. Recorded at the Hope by the Sea treatment facility, Jennifer shares her transformative journey from a life gripped by alcohol addiction to one of strength and purpose. She recounts her initial resistance to rehab, sparked by a family intervention led by her sister, a judge, and her pivotal decision to extend her stay from 25 to 105 days to solidify her recovery. Jennifer opens up about critical moments, including a frightening incident at rehab where Chad's compassionate intervention kept her grounded, and her son's overlapping treatment at the same facility, facilitated by her advocacy and Chad's support. She candidly discusses post-rehab challenges, such as a dangerous relationship with a fellow rehab peer that led to threats and her empowerment through learning to shoot for self-defense. Jennifer also reflects on her sister's unwavering support, her reinstatement in the oil and gas industry, and a reconciliatory trip to South Africa. With humor and vulnerability, she addresses ongoing concerns, like her son's depression after his father's passing and her commitment to sobriety by viewing alcohol as poison.#thehopeaholics #redemptionepisode #recovery #AlcoholAddiction #AddictionRecovery #wedorecover #SobrietyJourney #MyStory #RecoveryIsPossible #Hope #wedorecover Join our patreon to get access to an EXTRA EPISODE every week of ‘Off the Record', exclusive content, a thriving recovery community, and opportunities to be featured on the podcast. https://patreon.com/TheHopeaholics Follow the Hopeaholics on our Socials:https://www.instagram.com/thehopeaholics https://linktr.ee/thehopeaholicsBuy Merch: https://thehopeaholics.myshopify.comVisit our Treatment Centers: https://www.hopebythesea.comIf you or a loved one needs help, please call or text 949-615-8588.
