A weekly podcast about what two pastors in New Mexico are learning in the trenches of church revitalization. Kyle Bueermann (FBC Alamogordo) and Matt Henslee (Mayhill Baptist Church) have a combined 31 years of experience in vocational ministry…and still haven’t figured it all out! Tune in each Frid…
The Not Another Baptist Podcast is a refreshing and insightful podcast that offers a unique perspective on ministry and the Baptist world. Hosted by Matt Henslee and Kyle Bueermann, these brothers bring humor, humility, and important conversations to every episode. Having listened to this podcast for only a month, I have quickly become a fan and it is now one of my favorites.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the genuine and humble approach that Matt and Kyle bring to their discussions. They tackle sensitive issues with integrity and grace, making tough topics accessible and comprehensible for all listeners, regardless of their background or beliefs. Additionally, they have a knack for bringing clarity, unity, and grace to divisive issues within the Baptist (and non-Baptist) world. Their ability to navigate these conversations without immersing themselves in heated debates is truly commendable.
Another great aspect of this podcast is the mix of humor and seriousness that Matt and Kyle bring to each episode. They make important discussions enjoyable by infusing them with laughter and lightheartedness. This not only keeps listeners engaged but also helps us not take ourselves too seriously. Furthermore, they have insightful conversations about current events, issues of church revitalization, and occasionally invite guests who add even more depth to the content.
While there are no apparent worst aspects of The Not Another Baptist Podcast, some may argue that it focuses primarily on Baptist topics. However, I believe that even non-Baptists can find value in this podcast due to its universal messages about faith, ministry, and navigating life's challenges.
In conclusion, if you're searching for a podcast that combines humor with important conversations about ministry, The Not Another Baptist Podcast is definitely worth a listen. Matt Henslee and Kyle Bueermann bring light and truth to their discussions while providing gospel encouragement for their listeners. This podcast has quickly become one of my favorites due to its insightful content, humility, and ability to tackle tough topics with grace. Give it a listen and you won't be disappointed!
