The Girls Room podcast is an absolute gem in the world of podcasts. Marissa, the host, tackles hard topics with a refreshing honesty, vulnerability, and intelligence that captivates the listener from start to finish. This podcast truly gets to the root of difficult subjects and provides a space for open and honest conversations. Marissa's exploration and guidance throughout each episode are commendable, as she fearlessly shares her own experiences and insights, making the listener feel seen and understood.

One of the best aspects of The Girls Room podcast is Marissa herself. Her personality shines through in every episode, bringing humor, relatability, and authenticity to each topic discussed. She has a way of making even awkward or taboo subjects feel normal and approachable, creating an environment that feels like having a chat with a close friend. The personal stories she shares are relatable and entertaining, making it easy for listeners to engage with the content.

I bought into these many ads, products and opinions and have never felt confident since. In this episode we talk about my history with many (failed) vaginal products, yeast infections and a lot of self love. Don't forget to give yourself extra love and care today (and everyday). Finally, I discuss why I find it hardest to be sober around the holidays with all of the celebrations and alcohol around. *This is not an episode to convert you to be sober. This is MY personal choice. I always drank for the wrong reasons, did not enjoy it, and spent the entire next day shitting fire out of my ass. No judgement if you enjoy drinking/smoking (and are of legal age/are not harming yourself, body, or others)* *ALSO if people are pressuring you into alcohol/drugs THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS THEY ARE FUCK ASSES TELL THEM TO FUCK OFF AND DITCH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do not need alcohol to fit in, make friends, to be fun or have fun!!!!**** BE SAFE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND OF AGE I LOVE U!!!!!! As Thanksgiving is quickly approaching I wanted to make a episode with some holiday reminders. This can be an incredibly challenging time for many, but often that is swept under the rug as we are supposed to be HAPPY :D and nothing else. I'm not trying to challenge happiness or ruin anyone's day, but I am here to be honest. Whether you are mourning a loss, your family is split up, feel anxiety about food and your body, or have to dodge invasive questions, the holidays can be hard. In this episode I discuss toxic fitness and diet culture that preys on us this time of year. I mention negative comments about appearance, weight gain and loss, and food intake that need to stop. I talk about the invasive personal questions and give examples of other questions and topics that can be used instead. I also talk about what I am going to do to make my holiday special for me, and much more. As another reminder, you do not need to over exercise, go on a diet, skip meals or change anything about yourself in order to earn your meal. I love you and I am so thankful for all of you x
