For this week's episode I thought I'd switch it up a little bit and do something I haven't done in a really long time which is answer some of your questions! You probably noticed that when you signed up for our email list we have this really cool, yet simple thing set up: the first email that you get as an autoresponder form us is a question like "what is your biggest frustration with your business" or "what is the thing that you are working on that you'd like to have help with". And this is amazing because I get an idea about what you guys are actually interested in, what are you struggling with right now, what kind of topics do you want to be hearing about. And we track ALL of these and every once in a while we go back and see what kind of content you'd like to see published on our site. So I thought that this time I would just pull out a few questions that really jumped out at me and answer them on air! I'll give you my thoughts on these questions and also resources you can read or listen to, and learn more about that specific topic. This episode originally aired on The Wellpreneur Podcast.Get the full show notes with links:https://wellpreneur.com/your-most-asked-questions-about-growing-your-wellness-business/Copyright 2012-2020 Wellpreneur Ltd. “When I quit my day job, I'll be so much less stressed!”“I can't wait till I'm doing my business full time – I'll get so much done!”“My job makes me miserable! When I quit I'll be so much happier!”Have you ever said any of these? I used to. While I was working in my corporate job and doing my business on the side, I was completely focused on that one single moment when I could finally quit my day job, and do my own business full-time. It seemed like my day job was just getting in the way of my success. If only I could quit, then I'd be less stressed, happier, get so much done and have total freedom!”But while leaving my day job was a huge moment for me and a major achievement – in retrospect – the grass wasn't quite as green as I'd been hoping.Following on from all the beta program interviews I did with people in the wellpreneur community, I heard the ‘when I quit my day job' comment come up over and over again. In this episode I'll break down 4 common misconceptions about quitting your day job – and the realities of being a solopreneur! What you'll learn in this episode:Why keeping your day job might actually be the key to less stressThe four common misconceptions about quitting your day jobWhy having unlimited time in the day doesn't always make you more productiveAnd I'd love to hear from YOU – what has your experience been with leaving your day job (or planning to?)? Leave an audio comment by clicking the black rectangle on the right side of the screen (from computers only) and record your message – I'll share some of them in the next episode! This episode originally aired on The Wellpreneur Podcast.Get the full show notes with links: https://wellpreneur.com/e65-myth-quitting-day-job/Copyright 2012-2020 Wellpreneur Ltd. Play Episode Listen Later Jan 1, 1970 40:04

This week I'm having a really deep, juicy, thought-provoking conversation about branding with my guest, an expert brand consultant J. Nichole Smith. Brand is so much more than your logo and your website color scheme, it's a path forward that is making us feel much more aligned with our businesses, and we're really getting into that today. From what kind of message you want to send to the world, to how you want to spend your day – all these things are being used to create your brand and your business. I know a lot of wellpreneurs who created businesses that unfortunately don't quite feel right, and I've struggled with this myself for a while and you end up offering a product or a service that you don't really like to deliver. But as solopreneurs creating businesses that we're not absolutely wild about simply does not make sense, so we're going to try and prevent that in today's episode. We're also going to talk about emotions and vulnerability and how using our own personal experiences can help us create a brand that's really aligned with us. Nichole also offered a wide selection of items that are going to help you get started with your own branding (or review existing brand), and you can download those from the link below in the show notes. This episode originally aired on The Wellpreneur Podcast.Get the full show notes with links: https://wellpreneur.com/build-brand-that-matters-with-j-nichole-smith/Copyright 2012-2020 Wellpreneur Ltd. Pam Fischer is the founder of the Ohlone Herbal Center, a clinical herbalism school and clinic in Berkley, California. Today we're talking about her journey to open the school, including how finding a group of enthusiastic, dedicated supporters can show you the path forward, without needing a huge vision for your business at the start. Your students and clients will tell you what they need next. We also talk about the importance of connecting with nature and the plants, to get out of our heads and into our intuition. We talk about ancestral karma and how to clear that by using plants, as well as a few of Pam's favorite herbal remedies, and of course her own morning routine to get grounded and balanced before beginning her day. This episode originally aired on The Wellpreneur Podcast.Get the full show notes with links: https://wellpreneur.com/starting-your-own-school-with-herbalist-pam-fischer/Copyright 2012-2020 Wellpreneur Ltd.
