Years of infertility struggles were isolating and sent her into depression. Until… they found themselves at an orphanage in Mexico, meeting a beautiful six-year-old girl. They thought they found the missing piece to their family puzzle but were unprepared for the trauma their newly adopted daughter's experience in losing her culture, language, food and everything else that had been essential in her life.  Anna knew she had something to say about her family's adoption journey so upon retiring from an incredible career as a Human Resource Consultant, Anna sat down at her desk and started writing. After a long and fulfilling career in corporate HR, Anna Maria DiDio decided to follow her heart and embrace her passion project. Today is Easter Sunday! Which means that Vacation Kris is coming to a close as we wrap up the spring break. We had all 3 kids over at the house most of the week. Entertaining all the boys with bowling and playing pool. And Kris took all 3 boys all by himself out to dinner at ShoGuns restaurant.
