Die Suche nach der verborgenen Stadt) feiert George Mann sein Debüt in dieser Ära, der Star Wars-Lesern bisher vor allem aus den Märchen/Sagen-Sammlungen Dark Legends oder Myths and Fables bekannt sein sollte. In diesem Jugendroman begeben sich eine Gruppe Pathfinder und ein Jedi-Gespann auf die Suche nach einem verschollenen Team und finden dabei weder innere noch externe Konflikte, dafür aber Fledermäuse, parasitäre Mineralien und geldgierige, eindimensionale Antagonisten. Was all das bedeutet und wieso der Roman am Ende nicht ganz so überzeugend ist, wie bisherige Jugendromane der Ära, besprechen Ines und Tobias diesmal zusammen in dieser Ausgabe. Dabei fragen sie sich, wieso sich niemand aus diesem Volk für Geschichte oder geschweige denn Wandteppiche interessiert, welches Schicksal manche Charaktere wohl im weiteren Verlauf ereilen wird und warum wir nicht mehr Pathfinder-Einblicke bekommen haben, die doch gerade das spannende an dieser Ära der Erkundung und Erschließung des Outer Rim sein sollten. Insgesamt also viele Fragen- gut, dass sie auch die Antworten oder auch mögliche Erklärungen direkt mitgebracht haben und somit ausgiebig darüber diskutieren können.
