Welcome back to Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we dive into some of cinema's biggest box office failures and explore whether they deserve a second chance.““Re-May-ke” month returns as Not A Bomb welcomes the “Breaking Brad” crew with special guests - Sammy from the GGTMC and Jose from Watch Skip Plus as they discuss one of the worst films to (Jon-a-ton) Cross this podcast with the 2002 remake - Rollerball. This one might've broken the hosts completely—everyone's just shaking their heads as the legendary McT somehow turns a beloved 1975 classic into a full-blown night vision nightmare. And fair warning: if you're one of the five remaining Chris Klein superfans out there, you may want to sit this one out. The poor guy catches more strays than a background extra in a John Wick movie. So buckle up, blast some Slipknot, and dive into the chaos.Rollerball (2002) is directed by John McTiernan and stars Chris Klein, Jean Reno, LL Cool J, Rebecca Romijn, Naveen Andrews, and Pink. Round 2 of Movie Matchup March is here, and this time, it's a battle of Leslie Nielsen comedies! First up: Spy Hard, a James Bond parody—though if you asked this crew to define “parody,” you'd be in for a very long night. Then, it's Wrongfully Accused, a Fugitive spoof that throws subtlety out the window… and then crashes through that window on a runaway train. To help dissect the chaos, Troy and Brad are dragging their good pal Nate back into the madness for his expert opinions on slapstick and spoofs. Will this episode turn into another round of Breaking Brad? And does Leslie Nielsen's comedy still hold up in 2025, or has the world moved on from guys getting hit in the face with frying pans? Download now and find out!Spy Hard is directed by Rick Friedberg and stars Leslie Nielsen, Nicollette Sheridan, Charles Durning, Marcia Gay Harden, Barry Bostwick, and Andy GriffithWrongfully Accused is directed Pat Proft and stars Leslie Nielsen, Richard Crenna, Kelly LeBrock, Sandra Bernhard, Michael York, and Melinda McGrawNot A Bomb has has plenty of spooky designs in our Merch store! The Marvelous DeMystifiers return to continue exploring the vast depth of symbolism in Marvel's Loki television series. Picking up at Season 2, episode 2, called Breaking Brad, we explore the encoding of the High Priestess and Lovers cards of the Major Arcana, the endless gematria riddles hiding in the show, more disclosure of the TVA Tavistock controlled counter-culture creation that supports the "sacred timeline" of modern society, and much more.Video Episode - https://youtube.com/live/QCgLH0p3g_4EPISODE LINKSMarvelous DeMystifiers vs. Loki (All Episodes) - https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVmI9IYmJ1K8IEAuQbKJxCQbs9-piX2o-&si=XicvqVai6A_CIoWRMarvelous DeMystifiers (All Episodes) - https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVmI9IYmJ1K_FBPrzYYBnbXGxP9oLJ5jrSlick Dissident (Gabriel) on Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSSMh4fE7dAdhPcdtP0rW2ADonate to Slick on CashApp at $Slick Dissident TELEGRAM LINKShttps://t.me/innerversepodcasthttps://t.me/innerversepodcastchat GET TUNEDhttps://www.innerversepodcast.com/sound-healing SUPPORT INNERVERSEInnerVerse Merch - https://www.innerversemerch.comTippecanoe Herbs - Use INNERVERSE code at checkout - https://tippecanoeherbs.com/Check out the Spirit Whirled series, narrated by Chance - https://www.innerversepodcast.com/audiobooksDonate on CashApp at $ChanceGartonBuy from Clive de Carle with this link to support InnerVerse with your purchase - https://clivedecarle.ositracker.com/197164/11489The Aquacure AC50 (Use "innerverse" as a coupon code for a discount) - https://eagle-research.com/product/ac50TT Intro theme by WisdomTraders - https://www.soundcloud.com/wisdomtraders Hosted on Acast. The DeMystifiers continue the analysis of Loki Season 2, episode 2, Breaking Brad, to discuss the hidden symbolism of the Golem, the rise of automatic society and robot humans, the Ark and the destruction & regeneration of the universe, McDonald's (of all things!), and how the Lovers and Priestess card play so heavily into the metaphor in this episode. In 2024, Breaking Brad was to rest, but a new show arose out of the ashes like a phoenix. That new show is Not A Bomb Presents: The Classics, a series where Jose and Sammy join Troy and Brad again to discuss some of the greatest films ever. On the first edition, we come out of the gate discussing one of the greatest films of all time - Citizen Kane. This quasi-biographical film is a monumental task to discuss, but the guys all bring a unique perspective to the conversation. Trust me, no one was broken after talking about such a powerful piece of cinema. We hope you join us on this upcoming journey as Not A Bomb takes on The Classics!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy. Welcome back to Not A Bomb Presents: Breaking Brad. The premise is simple. Troy, Sammy from GGTMC, and Jose from Watch/Skip+ pick some of the worst films imaginable to see if they can break Brad. In this final episode of the series, the war on Christmas must be stopped and the only person worthy is Kirk Cameron and his ego. That's right, the gang celebrates the Christmas season with Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas. Look, the film is bad. Santa Clause vs. the Martians is a masterpiece compared to this religious propaganda. You will, however, enjoy hearing just how broke everybody is after a year long experiment of bad films. Brad also gives his finally rankings for this season of Breaking Brad. Sadly, the series is taking a much-needed break. Don't worry! We have a great series coming next year with the same crew. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays - except to you Kirk Cameron. You're in time out!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy. Happy Halloween, everybody! On this spooky edition of Not A Bomb, the “Breaking Brad” crew discusses the sequel to one of the greatest horror films of all time, Fright Night Part 2. Picking up 3 years after the events of the first film, Fright Night Part 2 finds Charley Brewster and vampire hunter Peter Vincent battling a brand new cadre of sexy vampires. Fright Night Part 2 was given less of a budget than the original film and struggled to get theatrical distribution. The critics were also harsh on the sequel and the vampire flick didn't really find an audience until it was released on VHS. Oh…and a highly publicized murder of a studio executive might have played a part in this films rough distribution cycle. Yeah, this movie had some dark things happening behind the scenes. Does Fright Night Part 2 live up to the original or has this horror franchise lost its bite? Spoiler alert: someone called this thing a bomb! You won't be able to guess who!Fright Night: Part 2 is directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and stars Roddy McDowall, WIlliam Ragsdale, Traci Lind, and Julie Carmen. A film featuring the corners of walls, Legos, a fuzzy TV, and lots and lots and lots of nothing. Someone in the group will argue that Skinamarink is one of the most important films in 2023. In a sensational twist, this episode of Marvel Studios: Loki, aptly titled "BREAKING BRAD," serves up a smorgasbord of revelations that left fans gasping for air. Crafted by Eric Martin and masterfully directed by Dan Deleeuw, this episode is a rollercoaster of intrigue and suspense.LONDON 1977: The Hunt for X-5The narrative kicks off in 1977 London, where our protagonists embark on an audacious quest to locate X-5, portrayed by the enigmatic Brad Wolfe. Previously a relentless hunter, X-5 has now allied himself closely with the enigmatic General Dox, setting the stage for a showdown of epic proportions.Back to the TVA: A Journey of Self-DiscoveryAs we return to the Time Variance Authority, the enigmatic Brad challenges the very essence of reality. Thought-provoking questions emerge: What is real, and who are we before the TVA? In the midst of this existential exploration, a delightful knock, knock joke keeps the humor alive. The series also peels back the layers of Loki's identity before his encounter with the TVA. Mobius, the usually unflappable agent, reaches his breaking point and delivers an unexpected slap that leaves viewers stunned.WHO REALLY IS "MOBIUS"?The mystery of Mobius deepens as we ponder his real name and his life pre-TVA. Was he a flawed individual, shaped by a past marked by abuse and tragedy on the timeline? A tantalizing setup involving a jet ski hints at a fateful accident, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.THE GOD OF MISCHIEF: Torture and IntrigueBrad holds the key to Sylvie's whereabouts, setting the stage for a gripping sequence of torture as Loki's magic places Brad inside a shrinking box. Meanwhile, Sylvie embarks on a new branch of the timeline, adopting an unexpected career at McDonald's in Braxton, Oklahoma, circa 1982."WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" A Race Against TimeThe timeline teeters on the brink of a catastrophic meltdown, and desperation sets in as blast doors seal off any hope of containment. A chance encounter between Casey and his idol, Ouroboros, adds an unexpected twist, while General Dox, alongside the Minutemen, wages a relentless battle to obliterate rogue branches and reset the timeline.BROXTON, OKLAHOMA: A Real-World Marvel ConnectionBroxton, an unincorporated area in Caddo County, Oklahoma, takes on an intriguing role in the story. Marvel aficionados will recognize this as the town that became a refuge for Asgardians (in the comics) after the temporary destruction of Ragnarok. Loki's shape-shifting abilities come into play as he adopts the persona of Lady Loki. Sylvie's return to the TVA marks a turning point as branches disappear, leaving behind a grim trail of lost lives, with Sylvie squarely placing the blame on the TVA's doorstep and returning to Braxton. This episode unfolds amidst Marvel's creative reboot of the "DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN" series, marked by the departure of head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman and the release of directors. A new era beckons, promising fresh and exciting developments for the beloved superhero tale.Marvel's unique TV-making approach, eschewing traditional models and relying on postproduction and reshoots for storytelling finesse, continues to captivate and shape the ever-evolving Marvel universe.

In this episode, Patrick Klepek and David Chen dive into Loki season 2 episode 2, “Breaking Brad.” But first: a conversation about how Marvel has been handling TV, and how that might change moving forward. This episode sees Loki finally reuniting with Sylvie after some adventures apart. But why does it feel like this show is actually two separate shows fighting against each other? What was it like to see Loki use some more of that old trickster magic again? And does this show actually need superhero action scenes to be exciting? Listen to hear us discuss all these questions and more! We'll be covering Loki weekly right here on Decoding TV, so stay tuned to hear our reaction to each episode this season!Links:Email us and let us know what you think at decodingtv(AT)gmail(DOT)comListen to Patrick's videogame podcast, Remap RadioSubscribe to Patrick's newsletter, CrossplayFollow this podcast on InstagramFollow this podcast on TiktokSubscribe to David's free newsletter, Decoding EverythingFollow David on InstagramFollow David on Tiktok Hosted on Acast. It's not a bummer of an episode, but it should have been. Billions of people were wiped away and all we got were blank stares. Where's the big budget going if not to another big SFX destruction sequence? Not to say the episode was bad, this episode of Marvel's Loki has set up some things to look forward to. Loki is tempted to the dark side and we love to see it! Hey there! Welcome back to Not A Bomb Presents: Breaking Brad. The premise is simple. Troy, Sammy from GGTMC, and Jose from Watch/Skip+ pick some of the worst films imaginable to see if they can break Brad. In this episode, the gang “delivers” a discussion on 2009's Labor Pains. Starring the infamous Lindsay Lohan, Labor Pains finds Lindsay faking a pregnancy to keep her job. Yep, that's the premise. The 94-minute runtime is plagued with unfunny jokes, a bratty little sister, Chris Parnell belittling himself, lame dog jokes, smoking in the girls room, and some of the worst music ever created. This may be the film that ends these little experiements!Make sure to stick around after the discussion to hear the winners of the listener requests for October!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy. Welcome back to Not A Bomb Presents: Breaking Brad. The premise is pretty simple. Troy, Sammy from GGTMC, and Jose from Watch/Skip+ pick some of the worst films imaginable to see if they can break Brad. In this episode, the we tackle…well, we're not exactly sure what it is, but the film is called Love on a Leash. In this “romantic comedy,” Jana wears a lot of green, finds a dog that turns into a man at night, gets sexually assaulted by her store manager, tries to walk on water, sleeps in a heart-shaped bed, takes erotic dog-themed photos, and becomes an old woman by the end of the film. Not only did this film Break Brad, but the collateral damage is quite evident. Do not watch the movie, but certainly listen to the episode!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy. Welcome back to Not A Bomb Presents: Breaking Brad. The premise is pretty simple. Troy, Sammy from GGTMC, and Jose from Watch/Skip+ pick some of the worst films imaginable to see if they can break Brad. On this episode, the gang tackles “Legendary” director Dario Argento's adaption of Dracula in 2012's Dracula 3D. Oh boy. There is so much to unpack in this one: Asia Argento's “performance”, a CGI praying mantis, color changing trains, a sleepwalking Rutger Hauer performance, and garlic bullets. Was this the film that finally broke Brad? Or did it cause some collateral damage among the group? Listen and find out!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy. Also, check out Jose's podcast - Watch/Skip+ • A podcast on Anchor. Welcome back to Not A Bomb Presents: Breaking Brad! Troy, Sammy from the GGTMC, and Jose from the Watch/Skip+ pick some of the worst films imaginable to see if they can break Brad. On this episode, the gang tackles 2003's American musical comedy - From Justin to Kelly. This well-known box office turkey stars American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson and runner -up, Justin Guarini. From Justin to Kelly is the product of what a boardroom of old white men think happens on spring break. Infamously, From Justin to Kelly is considered one of the worst musicals of all time and has gained a reputation as one of the worst films ever made. Naturally, someone on the podcast loves the film while the others are left wondering why this cash-grab was even made. Was this the film that finally broke Brad? Or did it cause some collateral damage among the group? Listen and find out!Be sure to subscribe to the Gentlemen's Guide to Midnite Cinema to hear more of Sammy.
