This Sunday's Inspirational Easter Message is: Because He Lives! In this episode, we're diving into a powerful Easter sermon titled “Because He Lives,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:12–19 and John 14:19. We'll explore five profound ways Christ's resurrection transforms our lives: it gives worth to our existence, purpose to our prayers, hope for our future, victory over death, and certainty for eternity. Through stories, Scripture, and reflections, we'll see how the empty tomb reshapes everything. Whether you're listening at home, on your commute, or anywhere in between, let's open our hearts to the truth that “He is risen indeed!” * * * * * Once again, thanks for joining us in our time of worshiping the Lord through His Word! Purpose Statement: We have received the Gospel message and we are to deliver it! In Vs. 5 these people witnessed Christ after His resurrection. Vs. 13 “If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.” How do we know Christ rose from the dead? In Vs. 14 If our preaching is not vain it's proof that Christ is risen. What's the truth about the Resurrection of Christ? The preaching of the Gospel is not in vain because it produced results. Why? Vs. 17 If Jesus isn't preached your faith is vain. Your faith is proof of the Resurrection of Jesus. Is it proof? If we could see something happen in someone else's life, it would be even more of the proof of the Resurrection of Jesus.

This Sunday's Inspirational Message is: Not the King They Wanted, But the Savior They Needed This week we begin one of the most sacred seasons of the church year—Holy Week. And it all starts with Palm Sunday, a day filled with shouts of “Hosanna!” and palm branches waving like banners of hope. But what kind of King is this, riding on a donkey's colt? And what does His arrival really mean for us today? The message you're about to hear is titled “Not the King They Wanted, But the Savior They Needed” based on John 12:12–19. We'll take a close look at Jesus' entry into Jerusalem—what it revealed, how it fulfilled prophecy, and how it still speaks to our hearts. This passage reminds us that while people were looking for political power, Jesus came to bring peace, grace, and eternal salvation. And the truth is, that kind of King often surprises us. * * * * * Once again, thanks for joining us in our time of worshiping the Lord through His Word! If you enjoyed this episode and want to help support this ministry, please share it with others and post about it on social media. “Scripture quotations taken from the Holy Bible: New American Standard Bible. 1995. Announced by angels and in fulfillment of His own prophecies, the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the dead.
1. The searching questions posed to our previous foes--2. The glorious praise given to our faithful God--3. The loving commands revealed to the elect brethren
Nothing is clearer than that our Lord Jesus was physically raised from the grave, and that He will raise up the saints physically at the last day.--Yet there are many heretics and false teachers who deny both these truths. Some deny that Christ rose physically and bodily, and others deny that the saints will rise physically and bodily.--All of these lies are refuted by Scripture.--That Jesus rose again with His human body cannot be questioned. The tomb where His dead body lay was empty, and the women saw Him, and talked with Him, and fell at His feet and clung to them- Christ rose a physical body, recognized by His dear friends---Not only that, but Jesus appeared to His disciples, and displayed His wounds to prove He is no mere ghost, but real flesh and bones. -A spirit has not flesh and bones-- Jesus assured them, and then asked for some food, and ate it before them---Christ also clearly taught a physical, bodily resurrection of His people by His mighty power. There will come a time when all that are in their graves will hear His voice, and shall come forth. The dead shall hear His voice, and shall live.--Jesus promised that all those who come to Him, given to Him by His Father, will at the last day be raised up by Christ unto eternal life.--Jesus exhorted Martha, grieving for her brother Lazarus, that he would rise again, and that indeed Christ is the resurrection and the life- --Paul plainly taught the physical, bodily resurrection of the saints. We are buried in our natural dead bodies, and we shall rise again with spiritual bodies.--But spiritual bodies are tangible and physical like Jesus' body was. They are incorruptible, immortal, powerful, and glorious-

Airtime: April 7-0, 2023Message Title: The Resurrection, Truth or Conspiracy rerunSpeaker: Sandy Higgins The topic of the resurrection is the foundation of the Christian faith, so it comes as no surprise that it is the doctrine that has been attacked most by atheists and other unbelievers down through the ages. Yet, the four gospels carefully preserve the details of the crucifixion and resurrection story. We trust that this message will help you to understand the gospel accounts more fully and that, if not saved, you would solemnly realize the implications of a risen Saviour and His claims upon YOUR life.

And at the end of each episode, they play a recording of congregational singing of that hymn. In this fourth episode, Christ Arose.

On this week's program Rev. Doug nicely shares with Gary Duncan an Easter hymn written in 1874 by Robert Lowry a professor of literature at Bucknell University. He was also a minister and hymn writer. The hymn that Doug sings for us is “Christ Arose” inspired by Mathew's Gospel.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ will always be the most monumental moment in all of history. We celebrate the fact that He rose on the 3rd day. On that day the angels of Heaven rejoiced and the demons of Hell screamed in terror. But what happened next will shock the world forever. This series is entitled, "Christ Arose... Then What?" This hymn, Christ Arose!, may seem out of place as it was recorded and is published during the Christmas season, or if you prefer, the Advent season. (Unfortunate scheduling) We set aside specific times of the year on the Christian calendar to celebrate and emphasize various aspects of our faith. Though a little untimely for this release, it helps us see beyond the baby in the manger to that time that our hope was solidified in the resurrection. The season of Advent identifies the first coming of the promised Messiah and looks forward to the second coming. The good tidings of great joy are given even greater joy and in this hymn, Robert Lowry has given us voice to rejoice! We can link Christmas and Easter and celebrate the glorious work God has done to redeem us sinners, and we look forward to Jesus' return.
