In this sermon based on Luke 11:14-36, we witness Jesus displaying His divine authority by casting out a demon. The immediate reactions reveal a crucial truth: Jesus elicits a response. Some were amazed and believed, others slandered Him by attributing His power to evil, and still others remained skeptical, demanding further proof. Jesus' response cuts to the heart of the matter, revealing that humanity is caught between two warring kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness. Every individual must choose which kingdom they will align with. Furthermore, Jesus calls us to actively participate in gathering people into His Kingdom, rather than scattering them away. We are incredibly blessed in Christ! This message explores four urgent blessings Jesus provides: His Power over Darkness: Demonstrating His complete authority over evil forces. His Word to Guide Us: Providing the truth and direction we desperately need. The Gospel to Share: Equipping us with the good news of salvation. His Light to Shine: Empowering us to live as beacons of hope in the world. Join us as we delve into the urgency of these blessings and the call to choose our allegiance to the Kingdom of God.
Ephraim got an inheritance from the Lord as His people when they entered the promised land. This inheritance was to be one that had crops, land, animals, houses, and fruit trees which they did not plant nor build. God had said He would drive the people out little by little so that the land would not be overgrown and taken over again by wild animals and become difficult to live in. God put this in the Bible in Exodus 23:29-31 so that we would know that just as He said He would drive these people out little by little, that this is a picture of driving out the sin in our lives once we become believers. He also states that we also have the responsibility of driving out the sin in our lives, but now we have His Power as believers to do so. So, it is not let go and let God, rather God said He would, but we have to do our part in ridding our lives of the sin that He puts His finger on and says must go. Are we depending on and trusting in His power to do what He asks us to do or are we trying in our own strength? If we are trying instead of trusting, we will fail and be like the Israelites who did not drive the sinful inhabitants out and so were plagued by them the rest of their lives. Joshua 16:8-10 The border went out from Tappuah westward to the Brook Kanah, and it ended at the sea. This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families. 9 The separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.10 And they did not drive out the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell among the Ephraimites to this day and have become forced laborers. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. (Psalm 61:4) Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” -John 8:32 Our mission is to spread the gospel and to go to the least of these with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ; We reach out to those the World has forgotten. hisloveministries.podbean.com #HLMSocial hisloveministries.net https://www.instagram.com/hisloveministries1/?hl=en His Love Ministries on Itunes Don't go for all the gusto you can get, go for all the God (Jesus Christ) you can get. Trust in His Power and Walk in His Light Mr. Mike Atkeison John 11:14-15 (04/06/2025)
Thank you for being with us today. Pastor Mike's message this morning is "Walking in His Power" from Acts 3:1-10.
What truly draws people to Jesus?Today, many churches use music, lights, and creative presentations to create an engaging atmosphere. While these tools can be great, we can't forget the real reason people were drawn to Jesus—and why they'll still come today: His Love – People were drawn to Jesus' deep compassion, not just an experience. Love still wins hearts! His Authority in Teaching – His words had power and changed lives. The Bible still transforms today! His Power to Heal – People flocked to Jesus because miracles happened—healing still draws people now! His Authority Over Demons – People didn't just hear about Jesus; they saw His power over darkness firsthand. When we focus on what Jesus focused on, people will come! It's not about choosing between creativity and power—it's about making sure we never replace the true draw of the gospel with anything else. This episode will encourage and challenge us to keep the main thing the main thing! Let's see lives changed! Don't forget to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE to help spread the truth! An idol is anything we construct with the sole purpose of displaying or representing our own reputation, fame and renown. At best, all an idol can be is a weaker dead image of ourselves. Jeremiah asks, "The land is ruined and laid waste; why?" God answers, "Because man has not listened to and obeyed My voice but has rather gone about setting up the equivalent of scarecrows in cucumber fields." What man has set up on his own does not have the power to nurture and cultivate what God has given us through His Power and Wisdom. But when we do serve our God with all of our hearts, giving Him Glory, we become an extension of His arm, mighty and powerful on the earth. Let him who glories Glory in the fact that he knows God and is known by God. It's time to examine our hearts: what are we building, and why are we building it? Do you know that the WORD of God believed is greater than a prayer said? All things are upheld by the Word of His Power. Listen and be blessed.

1. Our Calling2. Our Purpose3. His Power
When you trust God and act in faith, that's when God begins to cooperate with you and work with you! Aged 92, I've tried to be obedient to God's Word. I listen to Him through the Holy Spirit. Let God speak to you, instruct you, and bring vision and blessing into your life. From my teenage years I've lived by Isaiah 30:21, “YOU WILL HEAR A VOICE BEHIND YOU SAYING, “THIS IS THE WAY, WALK IN IT.”” I've always heard that Voice, saying, “Go this way, go that way; do this, do that.” Why? When I was 15, God called me, not to be an evangelist or a pastor, but to be a servant. A servant does what his master says. I'm challenging you, be obedient to the Word of God, KNOW who God is and His Power in your life! THEN, He will answer and deliver you out of affliction and trial and problems! O God bless you. Amen.
Strength through Power Acts 1:8 Matthew 28:18-19 It is an amazing thing that God would choose to trust a group of quitters to take the message of salvation to the world. The disciples had all quit. They were discouraged, depressed, and defeated. Yet 40 days with Jesus and they had a change of attitude and perspective. That is what we all need, dose of Jesus. Our Mission is not to be man pleasing but Spirit lead. This requires us to: 1. Live by His Power! Colossians 1:19-20 MSG Requires the power of God to overcome our biases and prejudices. 2. Pray big prayers. Acts 4:29-31(NKJV) We risk missing the amazing things God has for us because we do not ask for them. Pray and praise, in the dark so that what God is preparing will be revealed to us in the light. Isaiah 54:1-3 How we pray and praise says a lot about what you think about God. 3. Exchange fear and self-doubt for strength and courage. Acts 5:29-32(NKJV) Fear isn't simply an emotion. The Bible tells us it's a spirit from the enemy (2 Timothy 1:7). God has not called us to something he has not equipped us for. 4. Prepare for new things. Acts 10:42-46 “God's Word is the most effective guard against fear”! 5. Position God's presence to guide your life. Acts 13:1-3(NKJV) You can't take the land until God takes the lead. We need to soak ourselves in God's Word because we can't follow what we don't know! We must let faith – not fear – forecast our future. +++++++ You can find our service times on our website: https://www.anctally.com/ You can find sermon highlights on Twitter here: https://x.com/allnationstally
The Holy Spirit, described as wind, wine, and fire, empowers believers to accomplish what they never could on their own. In "Rely on His Power," Pastor Dave Gustavsen explores the events of Pentecost, when the Spirit filled the early church, enabling them to speak different languages and share boldly about Jesus. Peter explained this as God's promise through the risen Christ and called people to repent, be baptized, and receive the Spirit. This same Spirit is available today, to all who turn to Jesus. His Power
There are really two different holidays celebrated during the Advent season. The Christian Christmas and the Secular holiday. This sermon brings out the many differences and the real reason for the season, Jesus. He set aside His glory, His royalty, His Power, to become a totally dependent Baby, Who needed diapers changed, Who needed to be fed, Who needed to be taught how to talk. He did all of this so that He could become the Substitute for the penalty for sin that was demanded.

[teaching text]26 When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she lamented over her husband. 27 And when the mourning was over, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord…And the Lord afflicted the child that Uriah's wife bore to David, and he became sick. 16 David therefore sought God on behalf of the child. And David fasted and went in and lay all night on the ground. 17 And the elders of his house stood beside him, to raise him from the ground, but he would not, nor did he eat food with them. 18 On the seventh day the child died. And the servants of David were afraid to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, “Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spoke to him, and he did not listen to us. How then can we say to him the child is dead? He may do himself some harm.” 19 But when David saw that his servants were whispering together, David understood that the child was dead. And David said to his servants, “Is the child dead?” They said, “He is dead.” 20 Then David arose from the earth and washed and anointed himself and changed his clothes. And he went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. 2 Samuel 11:26-27, 12:15-20It requires faith and patienceIt can be boring and awkward40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.” 43 And again he came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So, leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words again. 45 Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Sleep and take your rest later on.Matthew 26:40-459 And a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked still longer. TozerPRAYING IN OBEDIENCEWhat is prayer?11 On the way to Jerusalem he was passing along between Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13 and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.” 14 When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went they were cleansed. 15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16 and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan. 17 Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”Luke 17:11-19Remember that only one Samaritan wanted more than cleansing from leprosy. He wanted to know the Savior. He came back glorifying God, worshipping Him, and giving thanks. The other nine lepers just had the thing they wanted but the one leper got much more; the Savior and increased faith.W.L. SeaverThere was an extra healing for this tenth leper. We must rise above the pairs of opposites. That is the secret of the Sermon on the Mount. It takes us away from both health and no-health, supply and no supply into that world of the first chapter of Genesis where we judge not at all whether it is health or not health, supply or not supply, but whether we stand in that Spirit!" -Joel Goldsmith, "Thunder of Silence" Pg. 130 "Mere repetition of this or that name, without an actual touch with the named, is of no avail. If one were to become rich by calling for riches, then there would hardly be one who is not rich. Nameless is He and yet all names are His. If one can but get in touch with His Power, all names become inconsequential, for actual contact is what matters and not the words. If a thirsty person gets the substance, water, to quench his thirst, it does not matter if he calls for it as ab (Persian), water (English), aqua (Latin), eau (French), ma (Arabic) or hudor (Greek), for his purpose is served by any of these words. Similarly, the word "bread" is quite a different thing from the real bread. While one is just an expression used to distinguish it from other things, the other is the real bread that dispels hunger. So one must strive to contact the Reality rather than run after the shadowy words that stand for the Reality." - Kabir
In this engaging message, Dr. Tony Evans explains that in the cosmic chess game between good and evil, Jesus is the winner. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ provides power for victorious living for those who identify with Him, who testify about Him to others, and who love Him more than life itself.
