Jabra announced new AI-powered features for its PanaCast 50 and PanaCast 50 Room System at InfoComm 2023 “There are nine processors onboard the PanaCast 50,” says Jabra's Chief Video Evangelist, Josh Blalock. “It allows us to iterate on that product over time.” That computing power has been driving a wave of announcements of onboard features that the PanaCast 50 can deliver, bringing together technologies that a client would have had to purchase separately. An intelligent Meeting Space feature, which people may understand as room boundary, works to include people who are in the meeting while excluding people who might be nearby but are not in the meeting. Intelligent speaker, a Microsoft connected technology, that identifies people, by name in meeting transcripts. Facial recognition, using AI, which drives notes and other information coming out of a meeting. And improved meeting equity with three video streams: the first stream is the current speaker, the second stream is for the previous speaker, and the third stream is the full panoramic room view of the meeting room or space. In this podcast, Blalock lays out Jabra's broad vision behind the parade of announcements so far this year. “Workers need devices that are not just built for being remote, but are built to be on the go,” says Blalock, noting that many of this year's devices have specialized, small footprint and light, carrying cases, designed for users to be able to tuck a device into a case going in to a car or a subway, and then easily plug and play, from wherever they are. The quality gap remains for laptops, phones, and other devices, while the need to provide high quality and consistent meetings and sessions remains. “You want to be your best self wherever you are, and that's what these devices do.” Visit www.jabra.com · Cloud Communications Alliance and Jabra Event in Copenhagen: A Day of Thought Leadership · Content Guru Extends storm's Sentiment Analysis Capabilities Through Jabra Engage AI Integration · Jabra PanaCast video solution first to market with all-new Microsoft device ecosystem platform · Jabra expands the Evolve2 range with the most portable and comfortable headsets built for ultra-flexible hybrid working · Jabra Elite 4 – feature-packed entry earbuds for both work and play · Jabra launches PanaCast 50 Video Bar System to facilitate next-level hybrid meeting experiences · Jabra showcases true wireless expertise for consumers, enterprise and medical at CES 2023
Michelle Ritz, Product Marketing Manager, North America at Jabra discusses with TR's Doug Green, a set of products, featured at this year's Enterprise Connect. Ritz walks us through the products with one big theme: that Jabra can take care of the different environments, settings, verticals and special challenges that enterprises face as they turn to what they require in contemporary end points in a hybrid work environment. Speak2 75 Jabra Speak2 75 is equipped with a custom-designed Microphone Quality Indicator that shows users if their voice is being picked up. The device is Bluetooth enabled, for mobility. With four microphones, and advanced noise cancelling technologies, the Speak 2 75 was used for this podcast in a noisy show hallway, with very good results. For Apple users, the unit comes with a built-in dongle, meaning enterprise buyers can know that the unit will be compatible across the organization. Speak2 75 is Teams ready and works with legacy and cloud platforms. Jabra Evolve2 65 Headsets: fold-and-go design Reflecting the challenges of hybrid work environments and the need today to often carry a device from one place to another, Michelle discusses the fold-and-go design of the Jabra Evolve2 65. “People are taking calls form different places, so they need something that's easy to pack, that's also comfortable,” adds Michelle, noting that the device uses light materials and is designed not to put pressure on a person's ears. “And the best part is we're not sacrificing features,” such as advanced noise cancellation. Some of the wealthiest people are the most depressed and saddest in the world. Having too much stuff can be distracting and overwhelming. Less stuff brings more clarity, more space, and more freedom. Still, there's nothing wrong with having shiny, new things. You don't want to depend on things to make you happy or to define you. But you also don't want to feel guilty when you buy something you really want or will enrich your life somehow. In episode 40 of The Incrementalist, you will learn:1) Just because you can afford the newest version doesn't mean you have to spend the money. You can instead save your money, invest it, or give it to a worthy cause. That said, there's nothing wrong with having shiny, new things. 2) Material rewards can get you to do tasks and projects that are difficult or boring. While it's better to have internal motivation and know the why behind a goal, sometimes you need a little boost from an external incentive. 3) External rewards can be a way to practice patience. You replace impulse buying with delayed gratification. You will get the thing you really want only after you've met a certain milestone or taken a certain action step. 4) 12 essential things that improved my productivity and enhanced my life - Microphone with high audio quality: Shure MV-7 Analog Alarm Clock: Orcbeg, circular vintage, lightwoodgrain no ticking clock Light-blocking sleep mask: MZOO sleep eye mask Writing pen: Uni-Ball Signo 307 Paper planner: Moleskin 12 Month Daily Planner, Large (5 x 8.25”) Milk frother and steamer: Miroco LED Desk Lamp with USB Charging Port, Different Color Temperatures or Moods, and Brightness Levels, Auto-Off Timer, and Multiple Angle Adjustments: TaoTronics Desk Lamp model TT-DL16 Bluetooth wireless, mechanical keyboard: Keychron K2 Ergonomic wireless mouse: Logitech MX Master 2S Advanced noise canceling earbuds: Jabra Elite 85t True Wireless Bluetooth Paper tablet: ReMarkable 2 Ergonomic office chair: Steelcase Gesture Read the transcript. It's an amazing thing to be able to "re-introduce" our friends to music again. Think about this: In a sea of Spotify, mp3's, and bluetooth, Some people under the age of 35 LITERALLY may have NEVER heard their music the way it was recorded. You have the chance to see their face light up when they feel the energy and passion the artist intended when they recorded it. That's what this episode is about. I also discuss the Jabra Elite 75t and determine whether it's the best true wireless earbud on the market today. Keep listening to good music!
