Google stellte das Pixel 10 und 10 Pro (XL) vor, und auch wenn das meiste schon durch Leaks bekannt war, sind doch einige nette Sachen dabei: Zuerst ja, der neue SoC, Tensor G5, ist tatsächlich bei TSMC anstatt bei Samsung gefertigt, was Google auch besonders hervorhob. Wie erwartet führt das wohl auch zu einem ganz ordentlichen Performance-Sprung von laut Google etwa 34 Prozent, wobei die Kerne zum Teil weiterhin aus der alten Generation stammen. Damit können sie auch nicht an die Spitze aufschließen, dort sitzt derzeit unangefochten Qualcomm mit den eigenen Oryon-2-Kernen im Snapdragon 8 Elite. Das größte Upgrade für das normale Pixel 10 dürfte die dritte Kamera mit Telelinse sein, was bisher nur dem Pro vorbehalten war. Die gesamte Reihe hingegen bekommt Unterstützung für den kabellosen Ladestandard Qi 2.2 mit ins Gerät integrierten Magneten. Insgesamt vielversprechend auch ohne Spitzenperformance, aber wir (bzw. Mike) werden doch auf das Pixel 11 warten, der Tensor G6 soll deutlich größere Fortschritte bringen. Viel Spaß mit Folge 270! La estrella fue Gemini, la inteligencia artificial que ahora corrige tus fotos en tiempo real, te sugiere ángulos, edita con solo pedirlo y hasta diseña tu sala viendo la cámara de tu móvil. También se presentó un Pixel plegable con resistencia al polvo y agua, además de la app Pixel Journal para guardar recuerdos. Y la novedad: por primera vez los Pixel llegan oficialmente a México.  Google convirtió su evento Made by Google 2025 en un show tecnológico que mezcló humor, cultura pop y demostraciones de inteligencia artificial. Jimmy Fallon condujo desde Brooklyn y en el escenario se vieron los Pixel 10, el Pixel Watch 4, los nuevos Pixel Buds y la llegada de Gemini a todos los dispositivos de la marca. La apuesta es clara: teléfonos con cámara guiada por IA, relojes con funciones de salud potenciadas, audífonos que responden a gestos y un hogar inteligente controlado con Gemini. La pregunta es: ¿estamos listos para convivir con tanta inteligencia artificial en cada rincón de la vida cotidiana?  ¿Y si tanta inteligencia artificial termina volviéndose demasiado invasiva?  La serie Pixel 10 llegó con cuatro modelos: el Pixel 10 base, el 10 Pro, el 10 Pro XL y el 10 Pro Fold. Todos llevan el nuevo chip Tensor G5, fabricado por TSMC, que promete más rapidez y eficiencia en tareas de inteligencia artificial. El Pixel 10 ahora incluye lente telefoto, algo que antes estaba reservado a los modelos Pro. Los Pro incorporan un zoom digital de hasta 100 aumentos, llamado Pro Res Zoom, que usa IA para que la foto no quede borrosa. Desde encender luces hasta contestar llamadas con un gesto de cabeza, cada vez hay menos espacio para actuar sin ayuda digital. ¿Estamos dejando que la tecnología decida por nosotros?  Google defiende que Gemini no es un reemplazo de la creatividad, sino un apoyo. Por eso, además de las funciones automáticas, ofrece herramientas como Pixel Journal, una app para escribir, añadir fotos y guardar recuerdos con ayuda de IA. En el terreno de la salud, Fitbit integró un entrenador personal digital que diseña rutinas de ejercicio y mejora la calidad del sueño. Y en el hogar, Gemini promete simplificar tareas combinadas: bajar la luz, ajustar la temperatura y poner música en un solo comando. Todo esto con la promesa de siete años de actualizaciones, lo que garantiza que los Pixel no queden obsoletos pronto.  El Pixel Watch 4 sorprendió con un diseño más brillante y hasta 40 horas de batería, además de funciones de emergencia con conexión satelital. Los Pixel Buds 2a, por su parte, suman cancelación activa de ruido, colores divertidos y un precio más accesible de 129 dólares. También hay accesorios magnéticos bajo el nombre de Pixelsnap, con cargadores y fundas que recuerdan a MagSafe de Apple. This week on The Chrome Cast, we stay pretty focused on two things: the arrival of the Pixel Buds Pro and the big updates on the way for ChromeOS. For the Pixel Buds Pro, we have a full video with initial impressions and thoughts on Google's new earbuds, and the early reactions are very positive. Jon Brennan's a music composer and sound designer with twenty years of experience creating sound for iconic brands and multimedia platforms. With the rise of voice, podcasts, and streaming, he founded Sonic Signatures to enable brands to effectively use branded audio across every campaign and platform. He's created audio logos, original music, and sound design for leading brands including Amazon Alexa, Tide, Southwest Airlines, IBM Security, Mercy Health, Union Home Mortgage, and KeepTruckin. His film scores include internationally distributed feature films and documentaries, and he has an MFA in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago. Very recently, he decided to work with Sixième Son in the US. Jon tells us how his older brother's Depeche Mode album sparked a lifelong career in music, while Sean recalls his very first encounter with audio branding when he played Sega video games as a child.  The topic turns to the versatility of sonic branding in everything from mobile games to casino slot machines.
