They also talk about wide receiver Cedric Tillman and the importance of getting him back on the field ASAP to see how he fits with the Browns longterm. Lance Reisland joins the podcast to break down what he saw on film in the Thursday night win over the Steelers, including how the Browns and right tackle Jack Conklin shut out T.J. We had three days of being on top of the world and now everything hurts. Deshaun Watson has a broken shoulder which will get surgically repaired next week, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson is starting this week against Pittsburgh. Matt, Taylor, and Gerbs are here to discuss the injury, the choice to go with DTR, and what the Steelers game could look like. Game Picks! LAC v GB (+3.0) - Everyone is on the Chargers this week, despite constantly asking whether or not Brandon Staley is fired yet NYJ v BUF (-7.0) - Buffalo fired their OC Ken Dorsey, and Josh Allen is still throwing picks through guys chests, but none of us could stand to pick Zach Wilson as our winning QB MIN v DEN (-2.5) - Some separation! Matt is riding with Josh Dobbs, while Gerbs and Taylor can't get on board with the Passtronaut. PHI v KC (-2.5) - Though there may be some Bad Blood in this matchup, no one thinks Karma is gonna come for Kansas City and let Philly eke out a win. The gang picks the Chiefs, the biggest Anti-Hero. PIT v CLE (-1.0) - Despite being without Nick Chubb, Deshaun Watson, Jack Conklin and more, we are all in on Cleveland for this matchup. Prop Bets! DTR Pass Yds: O/U 162.5 - Taylor has hater energy and says under for DTR yardage, while Gerbs and Matt believe Browns Rushing Att: O/U 37.5 - Everyone is over on rush attempts, thinking the Browns attempt to outphysical Pittsburgh Browns Long Rush: O/U 26.5 - Matt is under on longest rush, while Gerbs and Taylor stay over. All it takes is one. Hopkins FG Att: O/U 3.5 - Gerbs goes under, thinking they just simply don't attempt four, while Matt and Taylor say over Steelers Total Yds: O/U 255.5 - Everyone is under, predicting this would be another game that Pittsburgh is out gained in Browns Sacks + Takeaways: O/U 4.5 - Everyone is agreement with the over here too, as the defense has been forcing more takeaways. "Bleav in Steelers" hosts Ike Taylor and Mark Bergin discuss the emergence of the Pittsburgh Steelers' running game in back-to-back weeks. The Steelers ran for a season-high 205 yards during Sunday's win against the Green Bay Packers. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren each had a touchdown too. Harris had 96 total yards and Warren had 110 total yards. Sunday also marked the second time the Steelers won time of possession. Bergin defends second-year quarterback Kenny Pickett from the criticism he's received. He asks which other quarterback the Steelers could have acquired that would have been an upgrade over Pickett after Ben Roethlisberger retired. Pickett has the NFL's longest active streak without throwing an interception. Also, the Steelers are tied for first in the NFL in turnover ratio (+10) and tied for first in the NFL in defensive takeaways (18). The Steelers have won close games by protecting the ball and taking the ball away. While Pickett's play hasn't been what you'd expect from a first-round pick, he's still playing on a rookie contract and should continue to improve. The guys also discuss the bend-but-don't-break defense. It included Keanu Neal's interception off a tipped pass by Patrick Peterson. On Sunday, Peterson also blocked an extra point, which forced the Packers to try for a touchdown instead of a game-tying field goal. Damontae Kazee had the clinching interception thanks to Minkah Fitzpatrick voicing which coverage the Steelers should run. The guys discuss the Steelers' Week 11 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns starting offensive tackles are injured. It includes Jedrick Wills Jr., Jack Conklin and Dawand Jones. The injuries provide an advantage to the Steelers' edge rushers led by T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith. Deshaun Watson rebounded after a 6 for 20 start in the first half to complete all 14 of his passes in the Browns' comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens. Last, Ike talks about his trip to the University of Wisconsin-Madison with his son, Ivan. Also, Mark discusses running the City of Oaks Marathon in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Browns are about to start a two-game stretch against the Ravens and Steelers that will test their offensive line and they'll have to do it with a thinning group of tackles. Jedrick Wills Jr. is on injured reserve and Dawand Jones is already starting in place of Jack Conklin, whose season is over. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe put on their coach hats on and decide what they would do at tackle if they were the head coach of the Browns. They discuss who could start where and what the other options are, including what they would do if Jones, who didn't practice on Wednesday, is unable to play on Sunday. They wrap up the podcast by talking about what they heard from Deshaun Watson on Wednesday and what some Ravens players had to say. Jason Fitz is joined by Senior NFL Reporter Charles Robinson to pull back the curtain on the latest news around the NFL. The crew start with the Chris Jones contract and what the failed holdouts this season mean for the future of the franchise tag. Next, they address some key injuries in the AFC North, including J.K. Dobbins, Diontae Johnson and Jack Conklin. Finally, the duo dive into the Aaron Rodgers injury and what the New York Jets plan to do next. Fitz and Charles wrap up the show with a new segment where they decide what's news and what's noise over the last week.4:55 - Chris Jones' holdout has ended as he has a new 1-year, $25M contract. All three major holdouts this offseason have ended favorably for the teams, and a conversation ensues over whether the franchise tag issue will ever be solved given it affects so few players every season.11:20 - There are a few key injuries in the AFC North, including Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson and Cleveland Browns RT Jack Conklin. The duo discuss whether or not each of these teams need to add more talent and how the dynamic has shifted in the AFC North after only one week.30:00 - The Jets Super Bowl hopes took a massive hit Monday night with the injury of Aaron Rodgers, and Charles points out how critical it was that General Manager Joe Douglas fought to keep the first-round pick sent to the Green Bay Packers as conditional. Both agree the Jets will try to acquire a veteran familiar with OC Nathaniel Hackett's offense and discuss a few potential options (no, Tom Brady is not a realistic option.)50:35 - News or Noise? The duo react to more news around the NFL and decide whether or not it's something to pay attention to or if it's just noise. The NFLPA has called for an end to turf fields, but Charles needs to see more evidence that turf fields actually cause injuries before this becomes news. Colin Kaepernick's agent reached out to the Jets, but after 7 years away from football, both agree it's not realistic to think he'll get another chance in the league. Arthur Smith said as long as his team –the Atlanta Falcons – is winning, his skill players aren't concerned about their usage, but both agree that won't last forever. There is mounting pressure on Smith to use Drake London and Kyle Pitts optimally.Zero Blitz would be nothing without the impact of our beloved Terez Paylor, who was a pillar of Yahoo Sports' NFL editorial and podcast coverage.
