A week ago, on March 30th, Neptune moved into Aries for the first time in our lives. The planet of dreams, spirituality, Source and the unconscious last journeyed through the sign of the Ram from 1861-1875. A slow-moving planet changing signs is a very big deal! It's like entering a new era, a new chapter - both collectively and in our personal lives. This year we'll get a preview of Neptune in Aries until October 25th, and then Neptune will reverse back into Pisces. Neptune will return to Aries on January 26, 2026 and stay until 2039.As we're in this transitional phase of Neptune's sign change, I thought it would be useful to review the past 14 years of Neptune in Pisces. To that end, I'm sharing a talk I gave in 2011, when Neptune first entered Pisces. The talk was at New Renaissance Bookstore in Portland, Oregon. I re-listened and thought it was actually pretty great (except for the thousands of “um's” throughout the talk - geez, I hope I've improved on that front!). I'm going to teach a live webinar all about Neptune in Aries on Friday, April 25th, 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern - more details soon! (And yes, there will be a recording if you can't make it live.) This class will be FREE to all paid subscribers! If you're already a paid subscriber, you'll automagically receive the Zoom link and the replay. If you're not already a paid subscriber, you can upgrade below, or the class will be available for purchase (registration coming soon). In the meantime, notice what's shifted for you over the past week - what have you sensed since Neptune moved into Aries? Especially in your spiritual life, the dreamtime, art and creativity, healing… I'm looking forward to hearing all about it on the 25th - and to sharing my own noticings. And p.s.! My upcoming collaboration with the magnificent energy worker Katie Todd starts next Thursday, and we've got a few openings. Music is the medium, and helping students feel seen and valued is the goal. This is the fuel behind Maize Elementary School teacher Katie Todd's music instruction to kindergarten through fourth grade students. Katie earned her Bachelors of Music Education in 2012 from Kansas State University. She continued her education by pursuing a Masters of Music Education degree at her alma mater, graduating in 2017. Todd is in her twelfth year of teaching and currently teaches in Maize USD 266, where she is admired by colleagues, parents, and students alike.Katie finds much of the inspiration for lessons from her time spent with her two young daughters, Olivia and Charlotte, and her husband.Being a mother gives her insight into what families need from their educators to help them connect and bond. Additionally, she teaches private oboe lessons, is a New Teacher Mentor, and collaborates with Kansas State University to support new and future Elementary Music Teachers. In January of 2024 Todd was recognized as a Music for All: Advocacy in Action award winner for the Elementary Excellence category. She received this for her efforts over the past three years to connect students and their families with Kindie music artists through their grade level performances. She was also selected as the 2024 Elementary Teacher of the Year Nominee for USD266. In August of 2024 Katie released her first single Chickadee under the artist name “Katie T”. Her entrance into the Kindie music world came after encouragement received from friends and family as well as members of the Children's Music Network. She was fortunate to work with Bret Turner and Ian Walters of The Tallest Kid in the Room on this release. The song can be heard on all streaming platforms. Katie loves building relationships with her students and families and is passionate about helping them connect to each other and finding a deeper understanding of themselves through music. This quote can be found on the wall of her classroom: “ This is why I teach music…not because I expect you to major in music, not because I expect you to play or sing all your life, not so you can relax, not so you can have fun, but so you will be human, so you will recognize beauty, so you will be closer to an infinite beyond this world, so you will have something to clog to, so you will have more love, more compassion, more gentleness, more good. In short, more life.” - author unknownChickadee by Katie Todd

Katie Todd is a powerful energy magician who was first introduced to energy work at the age of 12. Since then she has since studied with many gifted healers, shamans, and spiritual leaders, and eventually created her own unique brand of energy work, The Flow of Grace. This work is best described as a gentle, yet high-voltage current of energy containing the soul's wisdom channeled into the body.Katie works with clients one-on-one and in group sessions, and she is also a professional artist, bringing her higher vision and healing intent into gorgeous abstracted landscape paintings.Katie and I have been good friends and soul sisters on the path for more than 20 years. She first came on the podcast in December 2022 (This Field of Oneness That Just Wants to Love) and I felt inspired to bring her back for a conversation about Chiron.Chiron - the archetype of the shaman, wounded healer, mentor and initiator - is living large right now. The April 8th solar eclipse precisely conjoined with Chiron, planting seeds for a new 19-year cycle of healing. And, Mercury is forming three conjunctions with Chiron during its current retrograde cycle, inviting deeper inquiry and a shift of perception about our wounds, healing path and how we bridge matter and spirit.Katie recently completed her Chiron return, which happens for everyone around age 50, when Chiron “returns” to where it was when you were born. This is a period of accelerated healing, when core wounds rise to the surface to be met, held and transmuted. Having witnessed Katie ROCK her Chiron return - and even have fun with the process - I knew she had valuable guidance to share during this Chirotic time. This conversation will be especially relevant for you if you were born with Chiron in Aries (roughly between 1968-1977), or have aspects between Chiron and the Moon. We talked about:* Katie's fun, magical and wondrous Chiron return journey;* Chiron-Moon themes of the wounded feminine, the healing power of simply BEING, and the permission to feel ALL the feelings;* Chiron in Aries themes of the right to exist, what's motivating our actions, wounds to the desire nature, and feeling and expressing anger;* Guidance for navigating the healing process;* And much more!Find out more about Katie and her offerings at KatieTodd.net; join Katie for a group energy transmission This is a public episode.
