Hey all and welcome back to the Black Girl Healing Podcast. I really appreciate those of you who keep coming back and keep supporting the podcast. I love y'all for real. I know we did have an episode that week and technically this episode is late. Foremost, I want to apologize because I know how it is when your waiting for an episode from your favorite podcast, and i hope you all can forgive me. Lastly, going forward new episodes will be uploaded once a week on Saturdays. This episode explains where I was and whats been going on with your favorite host. Advocating for yourself in general is a form of healing. Understand that if you've faced trauma present or past, speaking up for yourself can be really hard. You don't want to cause waves or hurt others feelings and in lieu you end up hurting yourself. Especially in the medical field I feel like black women get less than the standard of care that others receive. So, this was very hard for me to go through and see how much my dr did not care what I was going through, nor did she care to figure it out. I could go on and on and make episode after episode about the subject. Let me know if yall want me too. Again, thank you all so much for supporting the pod and subscribing to the Youtube channel. Don't forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe to the podcast and channel. thank you so much and see yo on the next one.
