In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Dr. Jeff Miceli to unpack the real physiology behind neuropathy, from diabetes and chemotherapy to statins and autoimmune dysfunction. We explore what's actually happening inside the body when nerves begin to fail, why tiny microcapillaries matter more than most people realize, and how progressive degeneration often starts long before pain shows up.Then we dive deep into high-frequency vibration therapy, and why most vibration plates on the market completely miss the neurological window required to create change. Jeff explains the difference between low-frequency “shaking” and true neurological stimulation, how specific receptors in the body respond, and why timing, magnitude, and frequency precision matter. This episode is about reclaiming possibility. It's about understanding that just because a condition is labeled “chronic” doesn't mean it's hopeless. And it's a reminder that sometimes the most powerful healing tools are the ones that work with the body's built-in reflexes. Episode Highlights[00:00] – Why neuropathy is progressive, and often misunderstood[05:45] – The real mechanism behind nerve damage: microvascular blood flow loss[10:20] – Why many treatments fail: missing the blood supply component[15:30] – The difference between low-frequency vibration and high-frequency neurological stimulation[20:10] – Why most vibration plates don't increase blood flow[24:45] – Meissner vs. Pacinian receptors: the neurological line that changes everything[30:15] – Why vibration must be intermittent, and what happens if it runs too long[37:40] – Immediate changes in balance and reflex time[44:10] – Real patient stories: circulation returning, wounds healing, pain calming[52:30] – Why simple solutions can still be powerful[1:07:00] – “Don't stop looking,” Jeff's message to anyone who's been told nothing can be done Links & ResourcesLearn more about the Nerve Plate → https://nerveplate.com/Dr. Michael McVady (neuropathy consult support) → 708-220-0599The Biological Blueprint Program: https://www.beautifullybroken.world/Silver Biotics: bit.ly/3JnxyDD— 30% off with Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKENCatchBio: https://catchbio.com— Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKEN CONNECT WITH FREDDIEWork with Me: https://www.beautifullybroken.world/biological-blueprintWebsite and Store: (http://www.beautifullybroken.world) Instagram: (https://www.instagram.com/freddie.kimmelYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@beautifullybrokenworld Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. In this episode, Steve Fretzin and Pam Meissner discuss:Aligning strengths with strategyAddressing operational challengesClarifying compensation and career pathsMaximizing long-term firm value Key Takeaways:Successful firm growth depends on matching personal strengths to business goals. Chasing clients or revenue alone does not ensure satisfaction or long-term success. Intentional planning creates a foundation for sustainable growth and fulfillment.Lawyers often face cash flow issues, staff management, and unclear compensation. These operational gaps can lead to stress and sleepless nights if unchecked. Recognizing and addressing challenges early safeguards both firm and personal well-being.Open conversations about pay and partnership tracks motivate legal professionals. Transparency fosters equity and encourages long-term commitment from team members. Clear structures help attorneys understand their role in firm growth and success.Profitability, efficient systems, and reducing single-owner dependency matter most. External guidance, such as fractional CFOs, can help firms overcome growth plateaus. Strategic planning ensures the firm remains valuable for exits or future opportunities. "Everybody wants more money, and they don't realize it comes with problems, and they don't realize that we all get paid for solving problems, but you have to pick the problems you're really good at solving, because if you're solving problems that you're not good at, you're going to be miserable." — Pam Meissner Check out my new show, Be That Lawyer Coaches Corner, and get the strategies I use with my clients to win more business and love your career again.

Richard Meissner had the swing, the talent, and even a spot in the U.S. Open — but behind the sunglasses and sweet tempo was a man robbing banks to keep his golf dream alive. In this episode, we explore the unbelievable story of the aspring golf pro Richard Meissner, who disguised himself with wigs and mustaches, knocked off 19 savings and loans, and funded his PGA aspirations with stolen cash. From his childhood in Maryland and stint in Vietnam to his dramatic downfall and prison reflections, Meissner's tale is as gripping as it is bizarre — a jaw-dropping journey into the underworld of one golfer's ambition gone criminal.

Right People, Right Seats: The Hidden Profit Killer in Your Business with Pam Meissner When profit is slipping, most businsess owners look to cut costs or push sales harder. But what if your biggest drain isn't on the P&L at all—it's in your people? In this episode of Profit Answer Man, Pam Meissner—COO and CFO at CathCap—pulls back the curtain on why “right people, right seats” isn't just an HR slogan. It's one of the most powerful levers for profit growth that most companies ignore until it's too late. The Gap: Why Profit Leaks Hide in Your People: You can have a stellar product, growing sales, and tight cost controls—and still lose money. The reason? People issues that don't show up as a neat line item on your P&L. Pam sees it all the time: companies hanging on to team members who no longer fit, tolerating culture-killers because they perform well in one area, or promoting loyal employees into roles they can't succeed in. The Four Quadrants Every Leader Needs to Know: Pam breaks down the four categories of employees, based on competency and alignment with core values: Stars – High performers who live your values. Puppies – Aligned with values but lack skill; worth investing in if trainable. Rats – Low competency, no values alignment; they have to go—fast. Gremlins – Highly competent but toxic to your culture; they hold you hostage and quietly drain profit. Ignoring the “rats” and “gremlins” doesn't just hurt morale—it actively drives away your stars. Why Core Values Aren't Just a Poster on the Wall: Most companies have core values, but few hire, fire, and promote based on them. Pam's advice: Define your values clearly. Interview with them in mind (AI tools like ChatGPT can help craft questions). Involve peers in hiring to assess fit. Hold quarterly conversations so performance and alignment are never a surprise. The Real Cost of a Bad Hire: Replacing someone can cost multiple times their salary—especially if you use recruiters. But the hidden costs of keeping the wrong person are even higher: Lost productivity Star employee turnover Extra resources to “work around” problem employees Pam stresses: The cheapest solution is to hire right the first time—and act quickly when you don't. The Profit Plan: Align People, Process, and Purpose: To plug these hidden leaks: Audit your team using the four quadrants. Invest in “puppies” with clear timelines and training plans. Remove “rats” immediately and plan a strategic exit for “gremlins.” Keep your stars engaged and appreciated.

He opens by acknowledging a disappointing week in Houston, losing 5.5 units, bringing his season total to -53.8 units. Minwoo Lee claimed his first PGA Tour title, winning by one over Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland. Though Minwoo only hit 22 of 52 fairways, his dominance on and around the greens—15th in approach and around-the-green, and 2nd in putting—secured the win. Alejandro Tosti, known for his distance (4th at 317 yards), finished T-5 after a solid Sunday despite a rough start. Gary Woodland's emotional runner-up, his best since brain surgery, was fueled by elite putting and iron play. Scottie Scheffler posted his best putting week of 2025 and nearly chased down Minwoo with a final round 63, birdieing holes 13 through 16. Will's picks last week largely faltered. Davis Thompson (T-27) had a strong middle stretch but imploded on the greens Sunday with several missed short putts. Mac Meissner (T-39) drove poorly, finishing 67th in strokes gained off the tee, but impressed with iron play. Tony Finau missed a top-20 finish by two shots due to negative iron stats and a disastrous four-putt on Saturday's 15th hole. Minwoo Lee's top-20 bet hit, but Mackenzie Hughes lost top Canadian to Taylor Pendrith, who posted three rounds of 65. Looking ahead to the Valero Texas Open, Will previews a course demanding driving accuracy and elite short game on firm Bermuda greens. He dismisses favorites Ludwig Aberg (12-1), Tommy Fleetwood (14-1), Patrick Cantlay (20-1), Hideki Matsuyama (20-1), Keegan Bradley (25-1), and Jordan Spieth (25-1) due to recent struggles, poor pricing, or course history. Corey Conners, despite being 18-1, gets a top-10 pick (+175) based on his consistent form and two past wins at TPC San Antonio. Akshay Bhatia, the defending champion, earns a top-20 nod at even money given his recent top finishes. Will's outrights include Denny McCarthy (30-1), praised for elite putting and consistent irons; Bud Cauley (55-1), coming off two top-10s with sharp ball striking; and Isaiah Salinda (110-1), a powerful, accurate rookie who dazzled late in Houston. Woodland, fresh off his emotional T-2, is his sleeper pick for a top-10 finish at 4-1. First-round picks are Cauley (+450) and Salinda (+650) to top-10, both teeing off early. His DraftKings lineup features Bhatia, McCarthy, Cauley, Woodland, Salinda, and Meissner, while the PGA Tour Fantasy roster has Bhatia, McCarthy, Cauley, Salinda (captain), Woodland, and Lee Hodges. With potential wind and rain forecasted, Will predicts a winning score of 16-under. His best bet: Salinda to finish top-20 at 3-1.
