Emily Alvarado, D-Seattle, is facing an ethics complaint for allegedly violating laws regarding her role with Enterprise Community Partners, a group lobbying for the bill she sponsors, Engrossed House Bill 1217. Conservative activist Glen Morgan of We The Governed recently filed the complaint, alleging that Alvarado violated state laws (RCW 42.52.020 and RCW 42.52.110) due to her role as Vice President.
