I Know Truth About Why Epstein and Trump Fell Out

The New Abnormal

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles for part two, continuing their forensic account of Donald Trump's long, combustible friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Drawing on years of interviews and firsthand reporting, Wolff argues that Trump and Epstein were not casual acquaintances but intimate allies, bonded by money, sex, models, and a shared outsider resentment of New York's elite. The episode traces how that alliance curdled into rivalry and fear—through real estate betrayals, private planes, kompromat, and the moment Epstein believed Trump turned the authorities on him. Wolff details why Epstein obsessed over Trump even after their rupture, why other powerful men fell while Trump survived, and how Epstein's arrest and death intersected with Trump's presidency. If Epstein was the man who knew Trump best, what does it mean that this is the one story that still visibly unnerves him? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to trace the unsettling origins of Donald Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, long before public scandal or denial. Wolff begins with their bond in the late-1980s New York, where Trump was chasing Manhattan legitimacy and Epstein was emerging as a fixer fluent in money, women, and leverage. From Trump introducing Epstein as “my associate—Jeffy,” a pattern forms of shared ambition, cruelty, and secrecy. Wolff links those early dynamics to Trump's financial near-collapse in the 1990s and Epstein's claim that he helped Trump survive bankruptcy while keeping his tax returns hidden. If Epstein helped shape Trump's instincts before power, what does that say about the secrets that still follow him now? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to peel back what Christmas looks like inside Donald Trump's carefully staged world at Mar-a-Lago — a holiday less about family and warmth than performance, attention, and control. From the bored, rope-off table at the center of the patio to Trump's late-night torrent of Truth Social posts, Wolff maps how even Christmas becomes another arena for validation. They examine Melania's rare flash of animation beside her father, the eerie surge of hyper-religious messaging from Trump-world, and the rituals that feel rehearsed rather than heartfelt. As the conversation widens, they trace how sagging TV ratings, Hollywood power plays, and proximity to Trump himself still dictate the action around him. Hosted on Acast. Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles to unpack the one thing that drives Donald Trump more than policy, ideology, or even power: television. From The Apprentice to Fox News, Trump has always understood that fame is a currency, and the White House is just the ultimate reality show set. Wolff details how Trump doesn't read briefings, rarely listens, and instead crafts his world based on ratings, Nielsen scores, and cable news cues. The former president treats lawyers like scripted TV characters, his cabinet as central casting, and the nation as an audience to captivate. From Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch to Sean Hannity and Bill Shine, Trump has manipulated media insiders to shape both his narrative and his presidency. This episode reveals why politics, for Trump, has never been about governance—it's about performance, spectacle, and keeping the cameras rolling. Hosted on Acast.

Today on Mea Culpa, I'm revisiting a powerful conversation with author Michael Wolff, the only journalist who spent more than 100 hours interviewing Jeffrey Epstein before his death. With the newly passed transparency bill and fresh batches of Epstein emails released, including correspondence involving Wolff himself, this interview hits differently. We dig into the dark, transactional relationship between Donald Trump and Epstein, what Wolff learned firsthand, and why Trump has fought so aggressively to keep these files buried. We look at Megyn Kelly's sickening and ludicrous (and instantly infamous) apologia for Jeffrey Epstein in the wake of the dump of Epstein emails, and follow the thread from her, via Richard Hanania's deranged tweets about how it's normal for adult men to fancy minors, and Alan Dershowitz's seemingly eternal dedication to having Jeffrey Epstein's back, all the way back to a 2017 meeting between Epstein and Steve Bannon (et al), as related by Michael Wolff in a book, published in 2021, that contains many things now being treated as revelations by the media... Michael Wolff joins Joanna Coles as he pulls back the curtain on one of the strangest constants inside Trump World: the curated, interchangeable circle of young women who drift through Trump's orbit, all uncannily similar in look, style, and purpose. Wolff walks Joanna through how this pattern shapes Trump's self-image, reinforces his craving for adoration, and becomes a kind of visual armor whenever scandal—like the Epstein files—comes roaring back. From the way these women are selected to the way they're deployed, Wolff maps out the psychology behind the tableau Trump insists on staging around himself. As the conversation widens, Joanna pushes Wolff on what this says about Trump's aging, his fears, and the hollow myth he keeps trying to resurrect. Hosted on Acast. Trump's Crypto Scheme to Sell Ukraine to Russia - TEASER

In this extremely enraged episode of Follow the Money, we ask the only question that actually matters in Trump's second crime spree through history: who is getting rich off of Trump chaos and the world's misery? Russian mafia expert Olga Lautman of Trump Tyranny Tracker and Andrea Chalupa of Gaslit Nation together trace a financial pipeline of blood money that runs from the Kremlin, through Qatar, through crypto, straight into Trump World and its favorite oligarch bagmen.  While Ukrainian kids are protesting, begging the world not to look away as Russia bombs their playgrounds and kindergartens, Trump's MAGA lackeys, like Matt Gaetz protege Rep. Anna Luna, are in Florida huddling with Putin's money man and messenger, Kirill Dmitriev, sketching out yet another fake "peace plan" that is nothing but a genocide plan for Ukraine and a launchpad for a larger war with Europe. In a blatant crime of access journalism that would make Michael Wolff jealous, Axios published Kremlin/MAGA disinformation by calling it a "peace proposal." In reality, it's a Kremlin bribe: sell off Ukraine's land, launder the theft through "diplomacy," and cash out in crypto for Trump and his longtime real estate buddy-turned-Kremlin fixer Steve Witkoff, and their sons.  Their plan is for Ukraine to give up Donbas and Crimea, which suffers under Soviet-style repression, disarm Ukraine' military, and expect the world to recognize stolen land as Russian. In exchange, Trump, Witkoff, and their sons would allegedly get crypto via Qatar and a chance to turn genocide into an investment opportunity. All of this is happening while Russia openly kidnaps Ukrainian children, erases their identities, and feeds them into a military pipeline of Putin's forever war, while half of Europe anxiously prepares for war with Moscow.  Follow the money, and you see the gaslighting of Trump once again being bribed to call the Kremlin's foreign policy his own.  Be sure to follow us on our new YouTube channel to help us get the word out about Follow the Money! https://www.youtube.com/@FollowTheMoneyTrail Want to hear bonus shows and listen to Gaslit Nation ad-free?
