Mike Clay is a vocalist and songwriter born and raised in Montreal. He is the leader of Clay & Friends and the writer of “Going up the Coast” which was certified gold in May of 2021.  Apart from Clay and Friends with whom he tours internationally (Prix de la Chanson Radio-Canada 2020, Selection Canadienne Printemps de Bourges, Socan's Chanson de Populaire l'année 2020 and 2021, Nominated prix Felix-Leclerc, Nominated as l'Adisq Spectacle de l'année ), he co-writes extensively for other artists. Newly, he's written on G-Easy's ‘'Faithful'', Kaskade's “Love like that'', Eli Rose's collaboration with Banx and Ranx on “Caroussel” and FouKi and Alicia Moffet's radio-hit ‘'Ciel'' (certified platinum). He is currently writing with Soran (Bottled up), Laurence Nerbonne (One Love), Robotaki, Marie-Mai, Koriass, Bynon, Geoffroy, Zach Zoya and Arianne Moffatt with whom he recently got first #1 on Quebec Radio.  Recently, he composed ‘'Côte à Côte'' the theme song for Occupation Double, on which he appeared for a live performance. Together with American Songwriter and Sean Ulbs of The Eiffels, we had the pleasure of interviewing Miko over Zoom video! 21-year-old singer-songwriter Miko likes to bring an abundance of sleek pop and 90’s rugged vibes. The Montreal-raised popstar continues to showcase his poetically gritty blend of alt-pop and rock in his newest single and video for “I Wasn’t Made To Fall In Love”, out now via AWAL.Co-produced with Mathieu Sénéchal (Charlotte Cardin), “I Wasn’t Made To Fall In Love” offers a first glimpse into Miko's beautifully raw and vulnerable universe, inspired by artists including Dominic Fike, Role Model and Yeek. The single is also accompanied by Miko’s first music visual, following him and his friends as they wreak havoc all across Montreal.Discussing the new release, MIKO added: “I wrote ‘I Wasn’t Made to Fall in Love’ last summer with my homie Mat (Mathieu Sénéchal). It was the first time we ever made music together and we came up with this song. Mat is the master of not overthinking shit and that’s what I like the most about him. It’s also my first song for which there is a video clip! My favourite shots didn’t make the cut because we could’ve been in trouble, but we had a lot of fun making it.”When post-secondary education didn’t catch his attention, Miko poured his time into co-writing with rising artists such as Soran, Mike Clay (Clay & Friends) and Geoffroy. Now focusing on his own music, he is honing in on his musical style while catching the attention of both youth figures and tastemakers including YouTuber Hannah Meloche and Iconic Canadian music journalist Alan Cross. I woke up Autograf's Mikul and Louis from a nap when I met then at the hotel. In fact they asked for another quick 15 minutes of sleep before we chatted. Chicago indie dance band Autograf is three guys: Mikul Wing, Louis Kha and Jake Carpenter. Autograf started as a Chicago art collective modeled after Andy Warhol's legendary New York Factory scene. While working on art installations, Autograf made a few bootleg remixes (including 50 Cent, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and the Temptations) to fuel parties at their Future Factory space. These remixes became incredibly popular and soon offical remixes followed which eventually led to Autograf releasing original material. Louis and Mikul were still groggy and disoriented when I woke them up the second time, but we had a great chat. How did an art collective become a dance act? What does the band mean when they tell each other to "bask like a lizard?"
