AP correspondent Laurence Brooks reports on Russia Ukraine War strike.
The people of Melbourne were left gazing at the sky on Monday night as the remains of a Russian rocket made a rather ominous appearance. A Melbourne astronomer, associate director of Monash University's eResearch Center, Dr Slava Kitaeff, explained what Melburnians saw in the sky.
Amid the harsh Ukrainian winter, Russia has launched a slate of rocket attacks targeting Ukrainian cities. “They can’t win … so they’re just going to attack civilian targets and hope that it weakens the resolve of the Ukrainian people,” says USIP’s Donald Jensen. “But there’s no sign that’s happening.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been waging a devastating war in Ukraine for over three months now. But if Ukraine falls, he won't stop there, Mikhail Kasyanov, who served as Putin's first prime minister, said in an explosive new interview. Ukraine's National Guard has destroyed three of Russia's multiple rocket launch systems (MLRS) using M777 howitzers, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. Russian troops control about 80% of the fiercely contested eastern Ukrainian city of Sieverodonetsk and have destroyed all three bridges leading out of the city but Ukrainian authorities are still trying to evacuate some wounded residents, a regional official said. An animal shelter in California announced that they will not allow people to adopt pets if they do not support gun control , in the wake of the series of mass shootings that have plagued the United States. "The Russian Rocket" Masha Slamovich - Part I
Proudly sponsored by Owners Box Weekly Fantasy Sports x Players Choice Sports Part of the Dean Blundell Network When we say we have a special guest, we live up to that claim. It seems impossible to believe we could land The Russian Rocket but we did! Pavel Bure joined us to talk about what he's been up to, Hoglander's amazing SHL goal, and we reminisced about the same attempt he made against Felix Potvin. We also chat about the Braden Holtby mask situation, the Canucks current logo, and why signing Travis Hamonic isn't necessarily the greatest idea regardless of price. Ted then disagrees. Players Choice provided an early Christmas gift to one of our listeners (check the video and our IG/Twitter). You'll want to win this. Follow us on the socials and rate and review us. Maybe we have more things lined up????

Today we compare two players who couldn't have been more different in how they played the game. Bure was "the Russian Rocket" who had just endless raw talent and scoring ability, whereas Lindros in his prime was perhaps the best power forward to ever play in the NHL.
