Shadowpact #2 (2006)Shadowpact is still stuck inside the blood bubble, running out of time as the Pentacle enacts its plans to throw innocent people into the MURDER HOLE. Can they save the town or will a psychotic child (?) in a Boy Scout uniform prove victorious?*** PROPER COMIC BOOK DISCUSSION STARTS AT 00:12:19 ***All this plus super-beings outfit-shaming each other, a sword that makes you sleepy and why the Mandalorian is such a dim fellow.Promo: ONCE UPON A GEEK (https://fireandwaterpodcast.com/show/onceuponageek/)Continue the conversation with Shawn and Jen on Twitter (X) @angryheroshawn and @JenStansfield and email the show at worstcollectionever@gmail.comAlso, get hip to all of our episodes on YouTube in its own playlist! https://bit.ly/WorstCollectionEverYTDownload the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever you get your favorite shows. Shadowpact #1 (2006)Shadowpact is a group of paranormal-flavored heroes investigating paranormal-flavored villains and calamities. I was going to make a sly comment and say they are “Justice League Dark with a recovering alcoholic monkey” but Detective Chimp kicks it both groups so I'll just go kick rocks.Join us as a dome of blood envelopes a Wyoming town like a Stephen King novel. Phantom Stranger proves to be useless as do Superman and Green Lantern but that's ok because Ragman and friends are here. It's up to them to take down the Pentacle, a group consisting of an Italian witch, David Lynch, Sister Christian and some of the worst villain names we've seen in a long while.*** PROPER COMIC BOOK DISCUSSION STARTS AT 00:12:49 ***All this plus Jen's thoughts on the Bruce Timm Batman series BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER on Amazon and, hell, some WWE SummerSlam conversation as well.Promo: PEACE BOUND AND DOWN - A WONDER WOMAN PODCASTContinue the conversation with Shawn and Jen on Twitter (X) @angryheroshawn and @JenStansfield and email the show at worstcollectionever@gmail.comAlso, get hip to all of our episodes on YouTube in its own playlist! https://bit.ly/WorstCollectionEverYTDownload the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever you get your favorite shows. On this week's episode of the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!: We talk about our reading for 2021 and what we intend to do for 2022. Yes, we will still be reading comic books, much to the sometimes chagrin of our wives. We have the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+ to discuss. Seriously, we need more Ming-Na Wen in our lives. We look at 52 #18, where Shadowpact is called in to assist Ralph with the helmet of Nabu, a.k.a. the Doctor Fate helmet. We have our Pick 3 selections, sponsored by our friends at Clint's Comics in Kansas City. Be sure to make a resolution for the new year to pick up your books each week at your LCS. We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you've been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
They're not the Justice League, and they're barely heroes. They're The Shadowpact, and they are the only hope we have against Hell itself.

May 12,2011 - Fans of writer Cullen Bunn have a lot to look forward to this summer. On the heels of its first anniversary, his occult western The Sixth Gun enters its third ongoing arc, and the second paperback volume is due out in just a few weeks. Later this month we'll see his other Oni project The Tooth, a monster-stomping, anthropomorphic fang OGN drawn by Matt Kindt. Fans of DC's magic characters like Klarion the Witch Boy and the cast of Shadowpact will want to pick up Sorcerer Kings, his four-issue arc on Superman/Batman. Then in June and July, Bunn is hip-deep in Marvel's Fear Itself, with one-shots for Black Widow and the FF, and a four-part Defenders series called Fear Itself: The Deep. Paul talks to Bunn about all of these titles as well as the task of juggling creator-owned and licensed projects, capturing the distinct voices of Natasha Romanoff and the Silver Surfer, Bunn's recent transition to writing full time, and one creepy-ass goat.
