Radio Crystal Blue Top 100 All-Time Artist Countdown This special countdown covers the top 100 artists ranked by annual chart placement, covering the years 2003 to 2024. Artists are ranked by their entire body of work, not 1 song or one album. I actually ranked a total of 211 artists, but I keep it to the top 100 for sake of the countdown. Here's numbers 80 through 71. For each artist I picked one song that seemed to be best representative of their work, or otherwise their most popular. I am counting down these artists, 10 a time until we reach 10-1. Download/stream/share this show, in the same RSS feed as my standard podcast. There is a lot of discussion around education in society today. Does education always come from books? Can you find learning opportunities in unconventional places? Is an academic education better than hands-on learning? With the help of Cody Jinks and "Somewhere in the Middle," we break it down and share some of the life lessons we've learned working on the factory floor. Mentioned in This Episode: Country Cutler FIRST Robotics Competition Albert Einstein Quote Show Notes: The Dad Life Sound Check starts off the show with Dave talking about how he needs a vacation from the vacation. Then the kids transfer the virus to him and he is out of commission for a few days. Alabama and a date attending the Tyler Childers concert help pull him through the fact that he has to wear Astros gear to support his son's little league team. Megan Moroney reminds Mick that it is OK for our kids to do things differently than we would. 14:35 HARDY Report - "Truck Bed" goes to #1 and Mick thinks HARDY and Beyonce should do a collaboration. 19:17 Farm Boy Update - Mick's garden makes him happy but repotting 60 tomato and pepper plants takes awhile. 21:00 The Dads break down why "Somewhere in the Middle" is such a great song to illustrate that you can learn something from everyone and that doctors are not necessarily superior to world champion roller skaters. Is achievement culture really helping us raise our kids? The Dads share what their first jobs were and why everyone needs work in a restaurant or customer service at some point in their life. A fiery episode this one. Labour's £28 billion green pledge, has it been ditched or not? The truth is somewhere in the middle. It's been a disastrous week for Sunak the gambler, he's truly hit rock bottom. While records are breaking left, right and centre (and not good ones), the world experiences its first entire year of 1.5 degrees. Truss launches the oxymoronic Popular Conservatives campaign for secret Tories (bringing laughable results) as the election looks like a six pointer on green issues. Plus we answer some cracking questions.
Hannah's best friend Nora is on today, for a good old-fashioned best friend catch-up. Few things are better than catching up with your best friend, and this episode is just that. Hannah and Nora talk about whether Hannah is a "dunks" girl, Nora's very exciting love life, doing the hard work in therapy, and authentic friendship. Follow Better Tomorrow:INSTAGRAMTIKTOKYOUTUBE

We walk through life, leaving behind seemingly insignificant marks on those we encounter. But what if the experiences you created made a lasting, life-changing impression? In this episode of Reflections with Stacey, I take a few minutes out of my day to explain how we can never truly know how our actions and words impact the world around us. We cross paths with so many different people each day. A simple conversation, new experience, or positive gesture can significantly affect a passerby—and you may never realize it. Here's why I believe everyone creates their own experiences and why you should change what you don't enjoy. In this episode, I reflect on how these points of the Do The Thing Formula create ripples that impact myself and others: Creating your own experience Mindset

We talk a lot about loving everything you do— getting enjoyment out of the process is very important to be able to do it for a long time. But what we don't talk a lot about is the things we do that we don't necessarily LOVE LOVE, but we do them anyway. So what is one to do? Track or not track? Well, like many things, it depends! In this episode, Michelle chats with us about many of the pros and cons to both nutrition tracking and using a fitness tracker so that you can ultimately make the vest informed choice for you and your wellness. Having a coach can help with guiding you in the direction of tracking or not - if interested in learning more about coaching with Michelle or Marissa, reach out to us at strongandsimplepodcast@gmail.com

As a painfully shy kid, I grew up thinking I was an introvert and that meant that I was a shy person (and I couldn't do anything about it). What I discovered years later, is that the definition of an introvert doesn't have anything to do with being shy. Not only that, I healed the quality of shyness through my wellness practices, allowing me to embrace introversion for my wellbeing. In today's episode, I explore the differences between being an introvert like myself, and an extrovert (like my husband), and why knowing this information may help you connect with yourself and thrive in your relationships and in your life.
Welcome to Series 2 of Vegetation: Meditation in Community. We are so glad you are here. We are beyond grateful for the love and support we have received from our digital village since our launch, and are so excited to share Episode 1 of our new series, Origin Stories. In this series we invite you to join our Future Selves as we reflect and comment on the Vegetation session from exactly a year ago, where we named this sacred practice of Vegetation. This week's episode, Ni de Aqui, Ni de Alla, begins the series with an exploration into what it was like growing up in the US as first generation children of immigrants. We felt like we were consistently failing at cultivating a relationship with our ancestors, our parents' homelands, and our cultural heritage, while also being submersed in discomfort about never fully fitting into the American life around us. Join us as we reflect on some of our first attempts to create these connections, while recognizing–with love and empathy for our Past Selves–that these connections have been here all along.
