We do our best to find six attractive models to help paint a picture of how varied this brand was during its heyday and even after the quartz crisis. Expect the unexpected — especially when it comes to Balazs' picks! Handgelenks KontrolleBefore getting to Bulova, we take care of our Handgelenks Kontrolle. Balazs kicks things off with a new arrival, his "NOS" vintage Excelsior Park EP 4 chronograph. Congrats on the arrival of this long-awaited stunner! Mike is doing his best Balazs impression with the late '40s, early '50s Siduna Commander. This is a Danish brand, but a Swiss watch with a 36.5mm "waterproof" stainless steel case and an ETA 1110.BulovaFor the main part of our show, we discuss six of our favorite models from Bulova.  Before doing so, though, we give a little bit of history and bring in some stories about how we were personally impacted by this brand. Then, it's time to hit the watches. Cette semaine, 500 reçoit l'acteur et réalisateur Tony (Mpoudja) Harrisson. Tony est né à Paris au début des années 80. Quelques temps plus tard, la famille Harrisson pose ses valises à Sarcelles. Enfant débrouillard, Tony est passionné par le sport et le basket en particulier. Plus tard alors étudiant au lycée et attiré par l'acting, il se lance et participe au casting du futur film à succès La Squale. Casté parmi 2000 candidats, la carrière de Tony se lance et de surcroît de très belle manière. Couronné au festival de Paris avec le titre de jeune espoir, Tony enchaîne les prestations remarquables : " Dans tes rêves", "24 Jours" ou encore "La mer à boire". Au fil d'un bel échange, il nous livre sans détour son parcours en tant qu'acteur, les problématiques liés à son environnement social et distille sans sourciller de précieux conseils.  

Le squale bouclé (Echinorhinus brucus), surnommé la « chenille » plane juste au dessus  du fond. Il a un gros corps et deux petites nageoires dorsales situées bien à l'arrière et aucune nageoire anale. Signe particulier: de grands denticules cutanés semblables à des épines qui sont disséminés sur son corps. Le régime alimentaire du squale bouclé comprend de petits squales, des poissons osseux et des crabes, que ce squale lent peut capturer par succion. La première description du squale bouclé est celle que le naturaliste français Pierre Joseph Bonnaterre le baptisa Squalus brucus en 1788 (du grec ancien brux ou bruchios "venant des profondeurs de la mer". En 1816, Henri de Blainville créa le genre Echinorhinus rien que pour lui. C'est une prise accessoire des pêcheurs au chalut de fond ou à la ligne. Dans l'Est de l'Atlantique, ce squale est transformé en farine de poisson. L'huile de foie qui en est extraite est un médicament très apprécié en Afrique du Sud. En Inde, on en couvre les canoës pour décourager les coléoptères phytophages! Des rappeurs bien connus, Moha la Squale, Roméo Elvis, ou encore plus récemment RetroX sont accusés d’agressions sexuelles, de harcèlement ou de viol. Au-delà du rap, le Metoo de la musique semble avoir commencé. La caisse de résonance des victimes : les réseaux sociaux. Ils jouent un rôle indéniable dans le recueil des témoignages. Nos invitées : Lola Levent est journaliste, manageuse, et gère la plateforme DIVA sur Instagram qui a pour vocation de venir en aide aux victimes de violences sexistes et sexuelles dans le milieu de la musique. Elle a participé à l’élaboration de l’enquête de Streetpress sur le rappeur RetroX. Dolorès Bakèla est journaliste indépendante. Elle a confondé l’Afro et le Fraîches Women Festival. Elle a notamment publié une longue enquête sur le rap dans Médiapart. Faites un don à Radio Parleur pour une information indépendante sur toutes les luttes sociales.

  Cette rentrée 2020 est particulière à bien des égards. En cause : la situation sanitaire et la grave crise économique qui en découle, bien entendu, mais aussi les questions féministes qui, depuis plusieurs mois maintenant, squattent les gros titres de l'actualité. L'émulation et l'indignation (affaire Polanski, marche du 8 mars, etc.) qui prévalaient juste avant le confinement semblent avoir survécu... et même gagné en ampleur ! Si bien que l'agenda des luttes féministes en cette rentrée est chargé. Pour décrypter l'actualité féministe qui se bouscule en cet automne, on invite au micro Léonor Guénoun, militante et responsable de la communication sur les réseaux sociaux au sein du collectif #NousToutes. Avec elle, on revient sur le vent de révolte qui a soufflé mi-septembre dans les collèges et les lycées de France. Grâce aux hashtags #Lundi14Septembre et #BalanceTonBahut, des milliers d'écolières se sont mobilisées contre les règlements intérieurs sexistes et l'interdiction de porter des jupes courtes, des décolletés et des crop tops dans les établissements scolaires. Sous prétexte que ces tenues sont "trop sexy" et risquent de "déconcentrer" les garçons.  On évoque aussi la multiplication des dénonciations de violences sexistes et sexuelles, avec l'affaire Gérald Darmanin, les accusations visant les rappeurs Moha la Squale et Roméo Elvis. Et la façon dont - une fois encore - la parole des femmes aussitôt libérée, est critiquée et mise en doute.  A écouter aussi, notre focus sur l'annonce en grande pompe du gouvernement, qui souhaite allonger la durée du congé paternité. Véritable avancée ou poudre aux yeux? Cet allongement sera-t-il suffisant pour compenser les inégalités criantes qui persistent entre hommes et femmes dans la sphère domestique et au fil des carrières professionnelles?
