With Paul waylaid by the possibility of football coming home, Liam and Matt welcome Cam Smith from the Spy Hards and Subspace Transmissions podcasts to discuss one of his favourite episodes of the often overlooked Star Trek series, Enterprise. Cam tells us the origins of his Star Trek fandom and his own experiences of hosting panels at the Star Trek Las Vegas convention. Then we dissect Cam's episode choice, Twilight, discussing the Archer/T'Pol relationship, the timey whimey concept of the story and the history of alternative timelines in the Star Trek universe It's been a long road getting from the last time we covered Enterprise on the podcast to here but the time is finally near, and all you have to do is stream or download this episode now!   As usual you can find SPOCKLIGHT on: TWITTER - @spocklightpod INSTAGRAM – @spocklightpod FACEBOOK – https://www.facebook.com/spocklightpod/ EMAIL - spocklightpod@gmail.com Please Follow, like, share and all that good stuff.   You can find Cam @camvsmith on Twitter and the SpyHards and Subspace Transmissions podcasts wherever you catch your pods. This week I'm joined by the hosts of SpyHards Podcast, Scott & Cam https://www.spyhards.com/ Agent Scott Hardy Whilst little is known about this relatively new agent, what is for certain is that he relies more on luck than skill. Hailing from London, England, Scott is mostly likely to be found at the local pub drinking an appletini and trying to convince people that George Lazenby is underrated. Before his most recent assignment to the SpyHards podcast he taught Baccarat-flirting and last-minute-bomb-defusing at the British Intelligence Academy. We are reliably informed he fancies himself as a bit of a ladies man. The ladies disagree. Aliases: @tiberiushardy on Twitter & Instagram Agent Cam Smith A near life-long 007 fanatic, whose life was irrevocably changed watching Roger Moore snowboard to a cheap Beach Boys cover, British Columbia native Cam Smith loves nothing more than watching classic cinema and then manufacturing excuses to talk or write about it. While his career as an importer-exporter of rare antiquities can be action-packed, in addition to SpyHards he also finds time to co-host the long running Star Trek podcast Subspace Transmissions, as well as the Schwarzenegger film discussion show Arniegeddon. Also, Cam once tried tap-dancing in Rosa Klebb knife-shoes. It didn't end well. Aliases: @camvsmith on Twitter www.krisandkristineshow.com podtasticaudio@gmail.com

What made the internet angry this week?Tyler Orton and Cam Smith from the podcast Subspace Transmissions join us this week. Armie hammer has been slippin into DMs and we're all scandalized amd the guys weigh in on if cannibalistic fantasies should end a career if they are not acted upon. There's talk about Chris Evans returning to the MCU even though he hasn't even been gone for 2 years. Javier bardem and Nicole Kidman are cast for an I love Lucy biopic. The guys discuss who they would have cast for the role of Lucille Ball instead. The Netherlands got super petty with EU's rules of importing food products to the point where border officials started taking away sandwiches from drivers hands crossing the border from the UK to the Netherlands. There is a monolith by Calgary but the mysterious origins have been exposed and it's a giant downer. The guys go on a Citizen Cane tangent. The CIA released 2700 files about UAPs and it just seems like to much work to bother with. Of course we get into some star trek talk and Tyler and Cam give Derek some Star trek episode recommendations to dip his toe into the franchise.Find Tyler & Cam:http://www.subspacepod.com/Find us:https://outragefactory.transistor.fm/Reddit r/OutragefactorypodTwitter @OutrageFactPodFacebook www.facebook.com/outragefactpodEmail Outragefactpod@gmail.comCheck out our redbubble swag https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/49661850

What made the internet angry this week? Tyler Orton and Cam Smith from Subspace Transmissions (http://www.subspacepod.com/) are this weeks guests. Derek's life is still too busy and he couldn't record so Dale took the chance to talk some delicious Star Trek with Tyler  and Cam. More precisely the upcoming animated Star Trek: Lower Decks. Everyone weighs in with their impressions of Series one of Star Trek: Picard. Quaker Oats is getting rid of the logo and name for Aunt Gemima products which have a very racist history and the guys agree it should just go away. Then there are tangents about candy and toys from their guys' childhoods. Boston Dynamics is selling a version of their robot dog and it really doesn't serve any purpose. Wearing a mask vs not wearing a mask has turned into the controversial topic many are willing to make their ‘hill to die on'. Dale calls Superman bland and takes shit for it. The guys talk about their last movie theatre going experiences and Dale shares he is still too traumatized from smelly feet to go back to the theatre anytime soon. Some very current Pushing Tin talk. What character in the Avengers movie series would best be played by Rodney Dangerfield. West Virginia wants to replace confederate statues with Mothman statues which is on first glance baffling but further exploring has us believing that Cryptids would be a wonderful replacement for the old statues. Dale is upset the Zeller's diners went away but Cam and Tyler not so much. All this and more on the world's highest authority on movie theatres.
