Riekkinen ottaa kantaa kristinuskon perusoppeihin ja muistuttaa, että esimerkiksi Jeesuksen jumaluus on vasta ensimmäisen vuosisadan lopulla häneen liitetty ominaisuus. Ovatko kristinuskon käsitteet ja kieli aikansa eläneitä? Pitääkö sitä muuttaa radikaalisti, jotta se voisi tavoittaa modernin ajan ihmisen maailman?
