The Jeep was making a left turn from Waldan Lane onto Bells Ferry Road when the motorcycle, traveling south on Bells Ferry Road, collided with the side of the SUV. Torres was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The occupants of the Jeep were unharmed. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the accident, and preliminary findings suggest that the Jeep pulled out in front of the motorcycle while the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed. No charges have been filed at this time. Story 3: muslim During a Canton City Council meeting, opposition arose from area residents regarding a conditional use permit request by Eden Community Centers for a social and cultural center at a specific location on Marietta Highway. The chairman of the nonprofit organization, Tareef Saab, described the center as a cultural and social club with limited religious functions, including Friday prayer services. Concerns were raised by residents about the need for a second center, potential religious influence, and the impact on local businesses. The council requested further information about the center's inclusivity, occupancy limits, religious activities, and potential impact on surrounding businesses. The vote on the request is scheduled for July 20. After being diagnosed in 2011, Robinson's kidney function has progressively declined, and she now requires a transplant within the next year. While a deceased donor transplant is an option, the waitlist is long, with estimates ranging from five to eight years. Robinson's preferred treatment is to find a living donor, and she has begun the evaluation process at Piedmont Hospital. Living donor transplants offer better long-term outcomes and allow her to avoid the burdensome dialysis treatment. Story 5: greene Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been expelled from the House Freedom Caucus, a prominent conservative group in Congress, following a heated feud with fellow Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert. Greene's expulsion was largely due to her derogatory remarks towards Boebert, including calling her an expletive during a dispute on the House floor. The altercation stemmed from their differing proposals to impeach President Joe Biden. This public spat was not the first between the two lawmakers, who have clashed previously over political alliances and strategies. Greene's removal from the caucus means she will no longer participate in their strategy sessions and discussions. Story 6: vajda Former Creekview golfer Jack Vajda emerged as the champion in the 73rd annual Golden Isles Invitational golf tournament held in Brunswick, GA. Vajda shot a six-under-par 66 in the final round, securing a two-shot victory. He finished the tournament with a total score of 16-under-par across three rounds. Vajda credited his strong wedge play and putting for his success on the course. The tournament featured a competitive field of amateur and college golfers. Vajda, who recently transferred to North Georgia, expressed his excitement about winning a prestigious event and looks forward to a successful final year of college golf. "There are too many "welcome signs" in churches today, but not enough outreach outside the church walls to the people who truly need the gospel," says our guest today, Victor Torres. Victor was trapped in drug addiction as a young boy in New York City, but through the power of prayer and a rather stubborn believing mother who showed her zeal for the Lord in (ahem) unconventional ways, he was delivered from his life of drugs, perpetual incarceration, overdoses and now shares the love of Jesus at his ministry in Richmond, VA and around the world! This is a powerful episode, one we believe will empower YOU to walk with more boldness in your own faith - or even discover the faith in Jesus you've craved all along. In this episode, you'll learn: -Opening thoughts from Wendie and Todd...01:00 -Victor's younger years, and being delivered from a sordid youth...05:17 -You have to be accepted if you want to survive...11:00 -The power of prayer delivers Victor from a life and death situation...15:19 -"Sneaking Jesus into my life with a hanky"...22:50 -"Bionic problems", and how to address them with wisdom...29:45 -Reaching out to people on their turf; don't expect them to come to you...33:30 -We have the power and authority in Jesus to approach the most vile of human beings...38:02 -The first step for one who is ready to embrace Jesus, but is fearful of the perceived consequences...42:45 -Is revival in the church forthcoming?...45:15 -And much more... His life had taken a dangerous downward spiral into drugs and violence. Through his mother's prayers, God spared her son from this dark lifestyle. Through those prayers, Teen Challenge, and the mentorship of David Wilkerson, Victor saw deliverance and the discovery of God's call on his life. Victor is the founding pastor of New Life Outreach Church in Richmond, Virginia. Over one thousand people, more than 35 nationalities and cultures come together in worship in this vibrant and joyful congregation. New Life Outreach has 22 churches throughout the world, including Brazil, Dominican Republic, Peru, and Africa. In 1971, Victor and Carmen, who went to be with the Lord in February, 2022, founded New Life for Adults and Youth. With headquarters in Richmond, this is one of the largest and most respected addiction recovery organizations in the country. Victor Torres has authored of many books including, “Reaching Your Addicted Loved One: Help & Hope for Those Battling Substance Abuse,” “Why You Need the Holy Spirit” and his autobiography “Víctor,” which made into an award-winning major motion picture. Victor and his family are building a legacy, reaching hundreds of thousands of lives. They have four children, eleven grandchildren, and more spiritual children than they can count. “Spirit Revolution: Equipping You to Radically Change Your World from the Inside Out,” and the new release “Spirit Revolution 60-Day Devotional” are a call to the brave battling the bionic troubles of our world. The tsunami of sickness and sin is only overcome by God's tsunami of grace and the power and person of God's Holy Spirit working through us. There is a revival coming to the church. Today is your renewal. Now is the time for a Spirit Revolution.
There are great frontiers and great levels of blessing God wants to take us to. To go there, we need to believe God for great faith; Jude 20 calls it our “most holy faith.” Dr. Victor Torres describes four types of faith in the first part of this series.
Today God is saying to you that it is time for a change. It's time to move forward to those things that God has prepared for ‘them that love him.' It is time to cross the Jordan!” — Victor Torres
Learn the principle of “binding and loosening” in this episode of Spirit Revolution Now with Dr. Victor Torres. “Grace carries us and gives us the strength to pursue our purpose. It takes us to that realm, in the presence of God, where we know that we are standing strong because He is with us and He is carrying us. Because of this grace, we are partakers of a Divine nature that joins Heaven in making things happen here on earth."
Jesus asked His disciples to describe His identity, Peter had a revelation: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). This is the kind of spiritual sight that strengthens one's prayer life. When you pray, you know you're not just praying to the air. You know that your prayers are not bouncing from the ceiling. Through the Holy Spirit, you have the inside scoop. When you pray, you are walking into the heavenlies and speaking directly to the Heavenly Father. New Book from Dr. Victor Torres! Jeremiah 18, the Spirit took the prophet Jeremiah to the potter's house to give him a real-life example of transformation. The only way a lump of clay can become a great vessel is if the clay yields to the hands of the potter. Let the prayer of your heart be, “Holy Spirit, teach me to surrender.” New Book from Dr. Victor Torres! Order “Why You Need the Holy Spirit” Today!
You are gifted. God has provided us with talents to go along with our purpose in this life. Of course, the devil doesn't want you to be confident in your calling because he knows the impact you can have. Do not allow the lies of the enemy to keep you blind to what is inside of you — the potential that lies within you to fulfill great things to the glory of God. New Book from Dr. Victor Torres! A good walk with Jesus requires commitment beyond what is comfortable. There are too many people straddling the fence. Dr. Torres says, “You will either be on that side or you're going to be on this side — you're going to be on the devil's side or you're going to be on God's side — you're going to be with Jesus or you're going to be with the world. God wants you on the right side.” New Book from Dr. Victor Torres! Order “Why You Need the Holy Spirit” Today!

When we stand together in prayer, we set the stage for God's miracle. Coming together in agreement is powerful because we first agree that our God is greater than he that is in the world. We believe that our God is greater than whatever enemy we may face. Who knows what is around the corner, but we can resist whatever the enemy may try to bring and be victorious together. Nothing can exhaust the joy of the Lord – no conflict, no trial, no enemy can kill this joy. Paul was in prison when he stood on the strength of rejoicing in the Lord. If he could do it then, you can do it now. New Book from Dr. Victor Torres! Order “Why You Need the Holy Spirit” Today!
Have you ever looked at others and wondered how they can seem so happy? Dr. Victor Torres identifies the cause of our lack of fulfillment. “I can tell you what is missing. You may not be flowing in the purpose of God. Sure, you love Jesus. But there's more to it that than just saying and feeling love for the Lord. God wants you to be a participant!”
“Nothing can undo the work the Lord is doing in your life — No trial or tribulation, no devil from hell can undo the work of Jesus in your life. His sacrifice on the cross, the shedding of the blood, that forgiveness of sins, the healing Christ brought to your life, nobody can take that from you.” — Victor Torres
“The real blessing is to encounter and experience the glory of God in the light of the power of resurrection. That can only happen when we die to self and we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, planting ourselves in the soil of the kingdom of God.” —Dr. Victor Torres
His Word is supernatural that we may bring change into people's lives that's the power of the Word of God — the power of the seed. Dr. Victor Torres reminds us that it is not enough to scatter the seed, we must first turn and soften the soil. Fertile ground, spiritually speaking, begins with surrender and obedience, giving the seed of the Word a place to produce.
“There is an altar in our hearts where we turn to God in faith.” Host Dr. Victor Torres continues in his Jehovah Nissi series in Exodus 17. “We pray and we ask God for strength, and peace and wisdom, and He visits us there because the altar of faith is there.”
“Like Abraham, we have been given a hope that never fails. Though we fight contrary forces, we can believe and trust that what God says will come to pass.” –Victor Torres
Jesus changed the entire dynamic of praying. He made it personal. Victor Torres encourages, “You know, man can tell you many things, but there is nothing like when God gives you a word.” It's time for a one-on-one encounter with God, shutting out the world, and opening your life to the presence of God Almighty.
“I ask, ‘Lord, fill me with Your wisdom and Your power; use me, Lord God.' You want to have an effective ministry and impact people's lives? Pray and ask God to use You; pray and ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. I promise you that He will do it.” Today, Victor Torres offers us three challenges to increase our impact as leaders and servants in the church.
Getting direction from Galatians 5, Victor Torres points the way to a life of freedom—"To live in the Holy Spirit; to manifest the fruits of the Spirit--this is the key to true freedom.”
Where others saw disaster, Caleb saw divine deliverance and provision. Caleb followed the Lord whole-heartedly and he was rewarded for his faith. God is still in the Caleb-making business. You were made for more than what your mistakes set you up for. Dr. Victor Torres shares, “I'm a seventh-grade dropout because of addiction. When I got saved, God gave back what I lost and more. I was accepted into college, and they gave me a doctorate degree. If anybody would have told me when I was in jail, living a life of no hope, that I would accomplish anything -- it would have been an impossibility. But God call me for more. And He has a purpose for your life.”
The Apostle Paul asked the church at Ephesus to pray for him -- “whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:19, NIV). Dr. Victor Torres points us to the Word of God for courage, “You see when you know for yourself what the Scriptures teach you, then you have confidence of the truth. It's the truth of the gospel that sets people free; not our own ideas or philosophies.”
The Lord is sending us into the world for the same reason the disciples went out after Christ's ascension and under the same anointing to change the world. Dr. Victor Torres says, “The anointing isn't for our glory but for God's glory. You won't receive God's anointing if you have no desire to do God's will in your life. If you want to do the will of God and you want to shine for Jesus, surrender your life to Him, and He will use you mightily.”
The power of God will be undeniable as the Holy Spirit reveals Him through your testimony and the way live your life. Dr. Victor Torres says, “Today more than ever I believe the Holy Spirit is calling believers to witness for the glory of God and show the world the love of Jesus. It is time for men and women of God to rise up in Holy Courage and share the gospel.”
Spirit Revolution in these end times requires an attitude of prayer, praise, and preparation through the Word of God. An attitude is “a settled way of thinking…typically reflected in a person's behavior.” Victor Torres readies us to replenish our strength, renew our faith, and revitalize our determination through consistent intimate time with Jesus.
