The Dear Runner Bod podcast is an incredible resource for runners looking to improve their performance and develop a healthy relationship with their bodies. Serena, the host of the podcast, brings a refreshing honesty and authenticity to each episode, making it easy for listeners to connect with her and relate to her experiences. Her knowledge and expertise in nutrition and mindset are evident throughout the show, and her ability to balance information with empathy and grace is truly admirable.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Serena's ability to break down complex topics into easily understandable concepts. Whether she's discussing training nutrition, body image, or mindset strategies, Serena presents the information in a way that is accessible and digestible for listeners. This helps reduce overwhelm in a world where there is an abundance of information on running and nutrition.

Another great aspect of The Dear Runner Bod podcast is Serena's willingness to share her own personal stories and struggles. She openly discusses her experiences with running, body image, and food, creating a sense of relatability for listeners. This vulnerability allows others to feel less alone in their own challenges and provides inspiration for overcoming obstacles.

Furthermore, Serena's advice is not only useful but also actionable. She provides practical tips that runners can implement in their training and daily lives right away. From performance mocktails to changing one's mindset about body image, Serena offers tangible strategies that can make a real difference in one's running journey.

While there are many positive aspects of The Dear Runner Bod podcast, it does have its limitations. Some listeners may find certain episodes repetitive or feel that certain topics are discussed too frequently. Additionally, while Serena provides valuable insights from her own experiences, some may prefer a wider range of perspectives from various guests.

In conclusion, The Dear Runner Bod podcast is an exceptional resource for runners who are looking for guidance on fueling properly, improving performance, and developing a healthy mindset around running. Serena's authenticity and wisdom shine through each episode, making it an enjoyable and informative listen. Whether you're a beginner or experienced runner, this podcast has something valuable to offer, and Serena's dedication to helping others is truly admirable.

What do you do if your doctor tells you to go on a diet? They are not trained on nutrition and should be referring to a dietitian. I had some members tell me that they were told by their doctors to try these different diets. I talk about why this is not what should be recommended for women, especially those in perimenopause. I get really heated when doctors try to one fix all of us with a single diagnosis based on our weight. I go in depth on what happens to your body when you are going through perimenopause and are on a low carb diet.
