“My eyes opened up to the fact that this is real, this is relevant, this is happening right in our front yards”   Children are a bundle of joy, innocent God-given gifts to every family, and the hope of our nation's future. As of the moment, we might be safe at home with our kids, enjoying a lovely day under the sun with precious smiles from ear to ear, but are you aware that 800,000 children go missing every year and that is roughly 2000 children per day. These children are experiencing the opposite of what our children are enjoying right now. They are maltreated, sold, and harvested for organs.   Herewith us today are two good friends of mine, Alex and Jen on this awakening and alarming conversation about child trafficking and putting an end to these immoral and unlawful crimes.   In this time of crisis, we are called to be the soldiers of the weak, the voice of the voiceless and the defender of the innocent. Never be afraid to fight for the helpless, donate and light the torch of hope for millions of missing children that it might enlighten their path to their way home. Ephesians 5:11- “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”   Commonly used codewords by predators that you should be aware of: #hotdog- young boy #pizza- young girl #cheesepizza- little girl (infant) #pasta- little boy (infant) #icecream- male prostitute #walnut- a person of color #map- semen #sauce- orgy Stop using these hashtags especially when posting photos of your children online: #pottytraining #bathtime #nekedkids #kidsbathtime #bikinikids #pottyseat #toddlerbikini #toilettraining #nakedchild #pottypants #kidsshower 8 Ways a predator will approach its prey and how you can protect them (38:03) A predator might pay special attention to a child and make him or her feel special. A predator might isolate your child by involving him or her in a fun activity that requires them to be alone. A predator might touch your child in the presence of you so that he or she thinks that you're comfortable with her being touched or him being touched.  Keep in mind that the first physical contact between a predator in his or her victim is often non-sexual and designed to desensitize the child. A predator might take advantage of your child's natural curiosity about sex by telling dirty jokes showing him or her pornography by playing sexual games. A predator may offer to play games, buy treats for young children. A predator might present him or herself as a sympathetic listener when parents, friends, and others disappoint a child. A predator might eventually treat the child victim as a co-conspirator in the relationship. Hey #LeadHERs, this episode is a MUST to listen! Today I'm interviewing one of my best friends, Julie Duke. Julie is a mom of 4 and former military wife. Julie is tremendously thankful for her life as a military wife. She's deeply appreciative of the men and women that serve, and for the families that support them. In her story she talks about her husband living in selfishness while in the military, but makes the clear distinction that serving in the military and being away from family for deployments and work-ups, is not itself selfish. Julie has impacted my life so much just by her relationship with her husband and kids. She responds with such grace, obedience, and respect. She disciples me without "discipling" me and just by watching her grow and LEAD. She shares why FREEDOM and breakthrough is the best thing you can do for your life, how it's the key to everything. She is spilling so much knowledge, tangible tips and takeaways that you can apply to your life RIGHT AWAY.   Highlights   The importance of honesty in marriage and how God played a role in fixing her marriage The process of finding the root of the problem and surrendering it all to GOD Learning how to forgive fully from the heart How to uplevel your "leadhership" and communicate better and SO much more!    I hope you guys looove this episode as much as I do.
