Ever had an experience where someone made assumptions about your ability to buy before you even had the chance to speak? I recently walked into a high-end car dealership, dressed in designer clothes and driving a luxury vehicle, only to be met with repeated passive-aggressive questions about my budget. Despite showing clear signs of being a serious buyer, the salesperson's assumptions shut down the potential for any real connection. This situation highlights a critical mistake many coaches make in their businesses. The key to success in sales is simple: treat every potential client with the same level of respect and always deliver your best process, no matter your assumptions. In this episode, I'll share why showing up with integrity in every sales conversation, regardless of the prospect's situation, will transform both your income and your impact. In this episode of 7 Figure Annuity Sales, host Caleb North highlights two critical mistakes that can quietly undermine an agent's entire lead strategy. These aren't just slip-ups—they're foundational errors that can derail your growth if left unchecked. Many agents pull the plug on a new lead system prematurely, basing their decision on initial impressions rather than measured results. Even worse, they point the finger at the leads themselves—when the real issue could be their sales process. ➡️ In this episode, you'll learn: Why abandoning a lead system too early can kill momentum and waste opportunity The key metrics you need to track to fairly evaluate any lead source How to identify whether the real problem is your leads or your process A framework for giving lead systems a structured, data-driven trial How top producers adapt and improve instead of starting from scratch If you're serious about building a predictable, profitable annuity business, you can't afford to make these mistakes. Caleb gives you the clarity and tools to move forward with confidence.

After a year of extraordinary growth and transformation, I've discovered that the more abundance I create in my business, the more abundance flows into my home life, and vice versa. This realization has completely shifted how I approach both entrepreneurship and motherhood. As I prepare to welcome my second child and head into maternity leave, I'm reflecting on the massive shifts that have happened in my business and personal life over the past year. In this episode, I'm sharing the real journey of evolving from focusing on material success to finding deep contentment in both my family and my work. You'll discover how I've grown my business while actually reducing complexity, why I'm choosing lean operations over empire-building, and how celebration and desire have become my primary drivers instead of discipline and willpower. In this episode, we unpack why becoming an expert in the annuity industry isn't the finish line—it's the starting point. Having a solid grasp of products, strategies, and regulations is the bare minimum every agent should strive for. But what separates the average from the elite is what you do beyond that—going the extra mile for your clients, working closely with carriers, and constantly leveling up your knowledge and effort. If you want to be a top producer, it starts with expertise, but it takes much more to truly stand out.
What if the real key to growing your business isn't another strategy, but learning how to regulate your nervous system? https://youtu.be/wn9XOB_H-as Dave Molenda, Business and Sales Coach, Speaker, Best-selling Author, and Host of the Positive Polarity Podcast, is driven by a mission to help business owners grow intentionally by strengthening their teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences. We dive into Dave's journey and his ST+ICE=P Formula, which stands for Strengthen the Team + Improve the Customer Experience = Profit. Dave explains how focusing first on internal team engagement leads to outstanding customer experiences, which then fuels sustainable business growth. We also discuss lessons from his book Growing On Purpose, why most businesses grow by accident rather than design, how to spot hidden blind spots, and when letting go of the wrong customers is the right move for your company's health and future. --- Cover Your Blindspots with Dave Molenda Good day, dear listeners, Steve Preda here with the Management Blueprint podcast. And my guest here is Dave Molenda, who is a business and sales coach, speaker, best-selling author and the host of the wonderful Positive Polarity podcast. Dave, welcome to the show. Hi, Steve. how are you today? I'm doing pretty good because I'm meeting you, so it's already injecting some positivity in my day. Well good, I'm honored to be hanging out with you and thanks to you for being on our episode 260. I loved our question, “does your business have Covid?” That was a blast. So that was a great episode. So, for anyone listening, if you wonder if your business has Covid, I'm not going to tell you anything else other than head over and listen to Steve's answer to that question. It was awesome. Well, hopefully your business doesn't have Covid because it's a potentially lethal malady. Exactly. For sure. But it was, it really was a fun episode and we created a lot of snippets that we put on our website, so we definitely are excited about it. Awesome. But we're not going to talk about this because we are going to talk about your stuff and what you are doing because it is at least as good, if not better, and we are going to dive into your frameworks, your book and all your experiences, your “Why” and all that good stuff. So, are you ready? I'm ready. I got my seatbelt on. I'm all set here so we can go as fast or as slow as you want. Okay, so let's fast track into my favorite question. What is your personal “Why,” Dave? And how are you manifesting it in your practice and in your business? Yeah, for sure. I tell you, it's interesting, Steve. I love the name of your podcast, using a blueprint as a framework, because I can't believe how many people start and try to grow a business without a blueprint, without some kind of framework. So I love unpacking that with you on my show. But my “Why” is for all the people that are out there that are so good at what they do, they're good at their craft, they're good at their skill, whether it's building a house, whether it's selling something, whatever it is, making something, they're so good at that. But boy, they struggle when asking the question about, how do I grow this business? How do I create a team? How do I develop this team? How do I make this a long-lasting business? So my “Why” is really coming alongside of those people. How does the time frame of your money goal affect your results? Many coaches sabotage their income potential before they even begin by giving themselves too much time to achieve their financial targets. This mindset keeps you stuck in the hardest part of your business journey. In today's episode, I'm diving deep into a core concept from my 2k for 2k program. This isn't just about setting a 30-day goal to make $2000 – it's about approaching each day with the conviction that you're making $2000 TODAY. The difference between these two mindsets is dramatic and directly impacts the actions you take, the energy you bring, and ultimately, the results you create. In this episode, we unpack why the carrier behind the product matters just as much as the product itself during the fact-finding process. While several annuity products might check all the boxes for a client's needs, the carrier you choose can have a major impact on the client experience—from service and support to long-term stability and trust. Chad shares why digging deeper into carrier differences is a crucial part of doing what's truly in the client's best interest, and how being intentional with this step can set you apart as a top-tier agent.

Again, genuine people, really good at what they do, but they very often are struggling with what to do once they have gotten to the end so far. They've asked all their neighbors and friends, they've asked all their acquaintances to buy whatever they have. I don't know about you, but we get inundated with all the Girl Scout cookies from all your friends and family. But rarely do you get a knock on the door from somebody that you don't know. So my whole goal is to help businesses that are struggling, that want to grow.Share on X And so we come alongside them and help them again and create a blueprint different than yours. Our blueprint a lot of times involves the customer.

Are you struggling to make your first dollars as a coach despite knowing what to do? In this foundational MVP episode, I break down the four things you're always selling in every interaction. These elements form the core of effective coaching sales. The hard truth is that before you can sell anyone else on these four elements, you must first be sold yourself. If you're not taking action, it's because you're more sold on your limiting stories than on your potential. I'll show you how to shift this dynamic, overcome the four common stories that keep coaches stuck, and create the belief that naturally attracts clients. How do you navigate grief while maintaining your productivity and capacity? In this deeply personal episode, I share my journey through the loss of my beloved dog, Bear, and how I approached grief in a way that honored our relationship while still allowing me to return to work with even greater capacity. I take you through my process of "productive grief" - not rushing through emotions or forcing myself back to work, but fully experiencing and honoring my grief in a way that felt authentic and healing. What emerged on the other side of this experience was what I call "post-traumatic capacity" - an expanded ability to show up in my life and business with even greater energy and focus than before.
